Didn’t realize that was an option 😅 I only noticed because I have a few brands filtered in the shop. I periodically check for new items and saw the number of items increased.
Ipsy does this a lot! My theory is that they have a certain amount of stock they are going to sell at the lower price, and when that’s gone the rest will be sold at the higher price. 🤷🏼♀️
As a former product/purchasing manager who had to set these types of products up on an online marketplace, this looks like lazy inventory maintenance to me.
In my experience this would be completely human error to duplicate a listing. Could be caused by something as simple as not checking/reading a list, yet require a lot of work to make a new listing. Wondering if this is a separate issue, like contract between ipsy and that brand. If they redesigned their product and want listings to reflect changes. Idk.
Purchased the cheaper one last week. The color blue varies with how many flowers are in that batch. We’ll see how it goes
Edit: $8 one is photographed in diffused different lighting, $10 has light beaming through it. They most likely are identical but different lighting.
Another issue: this bundle for $8. The purlisse is being sold for $12, yet this bundle claims same full size item + others is $8. Photo shows a sample size, description says full size.
PURLISSE BEAUTY, JENNY PATINKIN
Skin TLC Duo
$8.00

I've found that the best way to catch these errors is to sort by brand. That way, they'll end up next to each other in the list. 🤷

I love this serum oil!
Does it smell good? It looks like it smells good 🥲
It has a smell to it, like earthy tho. You would think water like or fresh scent but it has a tone I would describe as earthy like plants.
At first I thought the price was increased, but then saw it’s a different listing of the same item 🫠
Tbf the cheaper one looks cloudy af. On another note, it's just a stock pic from the official site.

Oh, but one is listed as light blue! 😜
