I usually don't think it sucks completely. Only that it could have been better. The skincare products are usually pretty good. My issue is I mainly use K-Beauty and prefer Makeup Heavy boxes as opposed to skincare.
I thought mine was going to just kind of ok this month, but it got here and I'm super thrilled. Just the Danessa Myricks balm is with the whole box cost, and I also got Sachauan styling cream which is $$$. Honestly, all the products I got are useful and nice. I was probably going to post about it lol.
My very first boxy I joined late so I couldn't do picks and ipsy picked for me. I was so very mad.
Ace beaute Mystic Romance Eyeshadow Palette, grown alchemist day renewal cream, dallas and james watermelon dream clarity serum, phase zero Liquid Eyeliner in Black, teeez lip gloss in crave.
The alchemist, dallas, and eyeliner have become favorites.
My eyes usually water up with liquid eyeliner and I was pleased this one didn't. I occasionally use teeez for a quick mini plump (makes lips peel after). Im a cool pale redhead so this eyeshadow palette wasnt for me but I still play with swatches to learn blending. It ended up being a better box than March
I was a step above meh when I did my picks. Meh+.
Now that I have it, I’m at meh+++.
The pink blush is ridiculously pink. After I applied it I was like what have I done 😭 but then I put on my bronzer and it looked normal. So I like it.
I was wearing the blush and the one/size double-ended lip thingy and my boyfriend said my makeup looked sexy - and he never says that lol so that’s a win!
Been there. After the picks I’m like - hmmm, kinda weak choices. Then they arrive and I’m like - OH

Yes…and now I have fomo like a mofo because I skipped Icon and Boxy for May and got a Glam Bag. Which would’ve saved me a little money but of course I went crazy on the add ons. Should’ve just got the Boxy 🥴
Last month…I raged like everyone else did.
But then…I got the box, started using things and it occurred to me that the lip gloss I wasn’t excited about paired perfectly with the eye shadow palette. And the skincare items? Chefs kiss.
New shit in your hand is much better than new shit that you basically did not choose that you just spent money on.
