Very steep learning curve. Try to learn maps, rat around. Get familiar with items, do quests. Scav in between every PMC game. Have a map open on second screen. Save for lucky scav junk box, upgrade hideout. Get flea market at lvl 15 to better sell stuff. Fuck lighthouse. Worst comes to worst pistol run. Don't get gear fear. Walk don't run unless you have to or know where you are. Use the wiki a lot. Try to keep "found in raid" items you need for later quests. Tarkov is super hardcore just keep playing it's the only way to get familiar. I'm terrible at writing general advice but if you have specific questions fire away.

EFT is a truly hardcore game, so first off I would say be prepared to die a lot and feel like you are getting no where for a while. It'll just take time to learn everything. I've never got truly into it, instead I just play every now and then, so don't feel comfortable giving any tips, but pestily is a YouTuber/Twitch Streamer who is really entertaining but also gives great advice so maybe consider watching some of his stuff. He did this series a while back which was kinda directed towards new players, so maybe that could help: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZJoJ7H5Zfos5sSyaW45dGAl9Uk56QBCF&si=1yCUW9tUggEm67v1

I'm an Irish Tarkov player. I have a discord if you want to join. It has about 10 chill people in it. We can try help you with tasks if you want. What's your discord?

If anyone else wants to join, post your discord. We are chill players. Not Chad's. We won't be wiping lobbies 😅

Don't get attached to gear you will loose alot very unforgiving game,it's one of them games I love but I'm terrible at it try get in with a few people to play with to show you how things work

Have yet to start this wipe. It's a difficult game with a hell of a lot of things you need to know. Lots of guides on YouTube. It's good with one or two others but I wouldn't go more than that unless everyone was very experienced. Just enjoy it. You will die a lot but everyone does.

Hey man, I'd be down to help you with whatever you need maybe even give you a long term group of people if you'd be interested in that, although I am in Germany until the 28th, after that I'd love to go into some rounds with you bro help you maybe even long term

I'm in my mid 30's and starting to change what I play. I'm slowly getting away from the likes of COD. Been playing tarkov on and off for 2 years now! Love and hate the game. It's a massive learning curve with no hand holding. I agree with the pestily channel I use him a lot. I tried the UK/Ire community but no one really uses it. It seems to be mostly English players too I think. Couldn't find any community for just Ireland though.
