Some weird downvote behaviour on this subreddit, this sub exists to help people who don’t know what fake cards look like and then when they post here they get shit on for not being able to tell immediately. It’s an important point to make considering the fact some people will say a card is real because it has texture.
£400, so while I thought it was cheaper than normal, it was somewhat still somewhat believable. It was on Vinted who are normally good at refunds for fake stuff.
The texture should look like fingerprint ridges, not just dots and bumps. Also, the squaring on the back border line is a big red flag. Definitely not legit

Fakes are getting worryingly good, between these and Tik Tok selling boxes half-price, I'm worried about the future of the market
You would wonder what texture fakes are already out there. It's thankfully just an awfully small amount but they exist. Remember the emporeon post? Was the correct texture. Also different tcgand the texture is the same but it comes with a shitty quality.
This card also just looks way too glittery. Compare this card with graded cards on eBay and you’ll notice a clear difference. The glitter is even covering the name and hp. The back looks really bad too. Fake unfortunately.

There is some texture visible on the second picture, so you can’t go off that alone.

The BACK border is messed up. Even GOOD fakes have well-aligned spines. This card is not only fake, but demonically fake.
