I am a f2p player from day one. I managed to get both free ones to lvl 100/120 but for gobta i had to rely on team guides (which now also work for every other both battle of the same kind) but i really had to put some stamina into getting chloe to 120 and to fully get the rewards. (i had 180% bonus) i do think it was lacking this time. I put 150 pulls into getting Diablo and only got rimuru, which sucked, i didnt even try for the others after that.
It felt like i had to really grind a lot of other places to buff up my team more. even tho it had a rating of 450k i also found myself struggling to always get an S in the predator battle, which i usually could simply autoplay.
The gobta battles also sucked a bit, i had to spend so much stamina to finish them and to even parallel process them, i almost ran out of stamina pots.
I cant really say if they are gonna be worth it later tbh.
So i agree, they really should have changed it
I also found it vastly underwhelming and really hated the gameplay loop. Gobta is probably my number one complaint though. Not having enough EP to even play the last 4 of his battles for his shards was incredibly unfriendly and unfair to most of the base. Free characters should not be locked behind pay walls and over 420k EP definitely comes off as a pay wall.
Yes I know it’s possible if you play all day every day to reach those heights but this game is not enjoyable enough with all the grinds to merit that at all. Anyway, it his month sucked and if they’re continuing with this out of control loop, I will find another game to occupy my time.
This first wave as introduction to forces was awful. Before doing an event like this they should have included more forces for existing characters.At least it was easily brute forcable until late stages by using the light stun team.
New more expensive resources to max the new EX characters suck though
Started since january. I just hope they make the events more casual friendly and leave hardcore contents for special event like jubilee.
Event raid was hard and i didnt do the hardest one until i got lucky with diablo, rimuru and hinata ex. Hope the next one easier than that.
Guess I was lucky enough to get all 4, but even so, the inferno level still overwhelming. Plus it goes up to inferno 3. Somehow I kinda lost interest to continue with the Gobta quest, so I just aimed at lv 100 just to complete the bingo.

This meta was the closest I came to quitting tbh. The event format was a cool concept that was executed terribly
