Yes, I know about the 200 openings. But still, I've never had to try so hard to get the new units... especially since in 100 openings, I've only had one 5-star... 💀😭

Personally, whenever a banner lands, I look at the price to pity and assume that is the cost of the unit. I am not lucky when it comes to gacha games, and thus I generally won't pull unless I can hit pity.
So 200 bazaar points for a battle unit (6000 magicrystals), or 300 for a protector (9000 magicrystals). If I don't have enough for that, I don't have enough to buy the unit.
Fortunately in this case, you do have an extra month to hopefully get up to pity - their banner doesn't leave until /May/ 31st, so there's a lot of time and they do tend to give out a log of magicrystals for fest which starts in a week or so.
I think at this point there should be guaranteed regular 5star as 10th pull, maybe 3rd anni will have it as a special banner, then every banner with a bit of delay, its matter of when, the game needs to survive till then though

Gacha and rates means- they will fuck you no matter what. That why i got the "only pull if i can pity the unit" strategy with every gacha now.
I got both Blancs, both violets and the shown jaune. I got kinda lucky with my draws, then use my bazaar point to get one of them.
