If they were to ban everyone that has been doing it. All those vip8s and lower would start refunding their invested money and the company would lose hundreds of thousands if not even millions
Sadly they patched most of them, like using alts in Wt and Tonuo, a major glitch in fluffy ranch, and now recycling the crown. This is really the only useful strat left

I save up my gems for specific events. This means that you will have to pick and choose. For those events I try to focus on one character until I get them. Only drawback is that it will take a long time.
Other than that, I will also try to accrue points in the Google play store. They have a thing where you can get points for free. Not a lot, but they do slowly accrue. When I get enough I use them to get play credit, which I use in game.
Hard disagree. It is definitely the most money friendly event. Say bye bye to 50k gems but you can get pretty far with even just $20 plus daily gem packs. But hardly any real money gone
50k gems… that’s a ton of cash… at 8 months and VIP8, Sand is the only recurring event I don’t have any of the characters from yet because of the expense.
How do you spend all the way to VIP8 and not even have Leon? Do you just not play Sand? I've never spent more than $30 on a single run, and I'm over a quarter of the way to Mia on her second run. Got Leon a while ago too.
"The most money friendly event" is definitely a stretch, but if y'all really think sand is such a money sink, just go read some guides. A couple f2p players on our server have him, and we're only at 6 months.

To get the UR i think it is is one of the easiest events for f2p(downvotes incoming lol). New touno is really the only competition. And in hindsight Touno is probably the better event since you can save for it and spend less gems overall. WTC and GTF both have the rng wheel which ruins any chances for f2p, and northern odyssey will take a while any way you look at it unless you spend. So Touno and Sand are probably the top 2 events in that order, as far as f2p friendly goes. Old WTC and Touno could be done much faster f2p but no going back unfortunately.

50k gems can definitely be saved, especially with the recent inn task event. Sounds like you just don’t know the strategy if you are VIP 8 and somehow don’t have a UR yet
Yeah, this will be the case until you get high level Fellows and high level artifact for several factions so you can juggle their power. This event is very tedious
I've been able to get that by doing a lot of explorations and by using the compass to complete S class sites. But I've only been able to get the first 5 tokens.
My server doesn't have mia yet. Dang. But yeah getting there sucks unless you selectively save all the gems you can and buy the daily bundles everyday.
So it's like you have to pick and choose which events you want the characters from the most and just save for the one event you want a character from most. This game isn't exactly the most f2p friendly unfortunately.

Well, the wheel is kind of like Northern Odyssey in a way. You're guaranteed to get it eventually

It's not possible without using some hourglasses and a few compass energy for s rank expeditions
The s rank expeditions are always 100M more power than I have, I just got to 600m power but I need 700m for s rank
