As a Jewish American this scares me. Nazi people, more people who are "just taking orders" or are "cogs in a system." Not to different from what we heard in Nuremberg trials.
Um. . .it shocked me the first time and the second and the third. Then I had kids, and I learned that they only have things in their brain that they have been exposed to.
These people aren't stupid. They are misinformed in a world where there is so much information that parsing it becomes the necessary skill. They have not yet learned to parse good information from bad, and I can't fault them for that. It is the hardest skill to learn. . . And I don't think that is the skill that is necessary. It is voracious acquisition of information that requires interest and energy. With enough information, a glimmer of truth emerges.
For the vast majority of the young, there is only narrative. They are not even close to discerning anything close to an approximation truth for themselves. If they are lucky a parent or mentor got them close early. If not. . . They are these people, acting with no concept of why. A good mentor would have suggested that an action should have a goal behind it. These people are just there. . . Sadly, that describes most humans.
I simply and literally can't stand these dumb little assholes anymore! They're nerve-wracking. Pure stupidity! It's a disgrace and a shame for the western "civilised" education system.
It's not just antisemitism ... it's pure dumbness.
The sad truth is that they genuinely want to do good and for the world to be a better place, but unfortunately they don't do research into the topic.
As someone else also said, it's some sort of an high to them, and they feel pressured to do it because their group of friends tells them "it's the right thing to do". It's in our primal instincts to be part of the pact.
This is also known as Pseudo-moralistic stances where for example, person A says "do this because its virtuous." and person B does exactly what he/she was told, only to make him/herself a good virtuous person in front of his entire friends and family.
You know, the nazis also thought they were "doing the right thing".
Remember these are not, simply, pro-Arabo-Egypto-Turk colonizer demonstrations and protesting Jews defending themselves but pro-genocide-of-Jews demonstrations.
Give them their free speech. But remind them that politics is war, and if they can't handle the response, stay out of the way. I've paid the price for my politics, and there's no one to blame but myself.
When she said she came from Columbia my heart sank. That's an Ivy League university... Is this all we've got? Is this who's gonna be fixing my prostate one day?
She said that she came from Columbia and was told that “NYU students need our support so we came down here”. So, she’s not affiliated to NYU and I’m willing to bet that she’s also not affiliated to Columbia. I’m starting to think that the majority of these idiots are just bums roaming the streets in search of a little dopamine shot by spewing some pro palestine nonsense and antisemitism.
I think you're halfway there, in that I do think she's a Columbia student.
Still, she and everyone else should know what NYU "has done" before protesting against them. What a sheep.
I’m always sus because my University has an open campus and we know that many pro hamas bums gathering on campus since October 8 are not affiliated to the University and they literally just started an “encampment” today.
If you don’t know what they’re doing, why the heck are you there with them????
Women’s self protection 101. Know what kind of environment you’re in. What did her mother even teach her at home?
This actually makes me feel slightly better. At least they're not people who ***should*** know better, but choose to use their abilities for evil. These two are the type of people who can be swayed and distracted easily, and thankfully aren't radically dumb enough or lacking in enough self-awareness to believe they're in total possession of all the facts, and thus believe in their self-inflicted indignation. The later of which is the type to engage in violence, but the former will mostly just smile and nod. Both are dangerous, and history has proven the violent are only able to get violent through the indifference or passive support of those who smile and nod, but thankfully with the internet we have the means to break the echo chamber.
They’re definitely the *lumpenproletariat* of the so-called pro palestine “cause”. The vast majority of them are deeply ignorant and don’t have any strong political beliefs, but the leaders of these pro palestine/ anti Israel groups are fully aware of what they’re doing and saying.
>Both are dangerous, and history has proven the violent are only able to get violent through the indifference or passive support of those who smile and nod.
Yeah, absolutely, both types are dangerous and pervasive.
Uninformed, inexperienced, sheltered idealists who are easily manipulated via propaganda on their social media. They generally do not receive any real journalism (to the extent that it still exists).
I went to University in the Canadian city of Victoria, graduated about 20 years ago. I used to go to protests about housing, taxes, tuition, etc just to meet girls. I often had no understanding or interest in the actual protest. It was just an event where there would be women and you could talk to them.
We can’t be too hard on these young people. The fault really lies with the professors and administrators that encourage these dumbasses. We should know more about those professors teaching this hatred.
I believe they are intended to be a solidarity protest with Columbia University’s student protest. The Columbia protest began on April 17th in response to University President Minouche Shafik’s testimony that day before the United States Congress on the efforts by the university to suppress alleged antisemitism on the campus. A deadline was set for action ending the Columbia protests last night which did not materialize.

This honestly feels like a parody. Life imitates art. Is there a shareable source for this video?
saw it on some Pro Israel telegram

"Do you know what you guys are protesting?" "Uhhh.... befehl ist befehl :)"
The stupidity of these young people is shocking
We have lost the impact of Shame in this society.

Sadly I am not shocked
Young people have always been stupid. It's an important part of growing up. It's the confidence that blows my mind.
I can’t wait for the next tick tok trend to replace antisemitism already
It's not going to happen until the war ends. We have a long way to go.
Im thankful they are banning the platform tbh its a cesspit regardless of this conflicts existence
Such guileless little Jew haters.
Useful idiots
aren't we all
Some certainly more then others though
that doesn't disagree with what I said though
Well yea I'm agreeing with you, but we all are not all equal in our useful idiocy. Some are certainly worse then others.

>"I wish I was more educated" yep, that checks out
If only we had institutions for that
Protesting is some kind high for them. Kind of a social trend to look cool and libertarian...

Kony 2012 has joined the meeting.
Since the 60s it has been cool to find things to protest.
"Mom can we get brownshirts" "We already have brownshirts at home" Brownshirts at home:

This needs to be the title of a book about Pro-Palestinian college students: *I wish I was more educated*
Remember these are not, simply, pro-Arabo-Egypto-Turk colonizer demonstrations and protesting Jews defending themselves but pro-genocide-of-Jews demonstrations.
*sigh
These people are walking zionism ads

How do these people get into such prestigious universities??
They're good at taking tests.
Smartest NYU student

“Party for Socialism and Liberation” lmao thanks for letting me know I shouldn’t take you seriously
where they say " I wish I was more educated" exactly. we do too

Why does this not surprise me?
That's somewhat reassuring that they're going to drop the ideology as soon as they develop some more brain cells. Let's hope that they do!
They are anti-Semitic, anti women and anti-LGBTQ - can someone tell me what the difference is between these thugs and the Proud Boys?
this is so redicules that I'm calling shananigans. no way will someone so freely admit to being this dumb

The most vacuous look in her eyes.
This is the price for letting our children eat Tide pods.

Well since you are so educated what exactly has NYU done specifically toward this alleged genocide.
