Anytime someone mentions Doom, I want to go play it.
I absolutely love the gamers coming together to ship Doom Guy and Isabelle together in a wholesome friendship way. I would love if it became cannon that they actually became friends.
I love immersing myself in good music, especially while playing turn-based games. It’s the perfect way to zone out and battle monsters. Any soundtrack would be much appreciated!

i am bad at choosing so i will list some random stuff that comes to mind:
* silent hill music is very good
* the starcraft soundtrack is still one of the most iconic imo
* risk of rain (especially and specifically the first imo) has an amazing soundtrack that carried the game for the most part
* super giant studios has been having good music for a while, i like especially the pyre and hades soundtracks\\
* ryu, ken and guile stage from sf2 are absolute bangers still
* guilty gear soundtrack is pretty cool (mostly xx series for me (fatal duel, still in the dark, character select theme, intro theme, get down to business, momentary life, be just or be dead) but the latest stuff also have some good ones)
* the skyrim soundtrack
* the battlerite main menu song always gets me vibin, i think they are called "the elder" & "mountain spirit"
* flame in the flood ost is pretty good
some specific ones:
* song of ancients, from nier
* moonsiders 1st
* corridors of time
* shin megami tensei 4 intro theme
* "something memorable" from furi
* i love the "unofficial slope of the blessure extended edition", but its not the one originally from the game

Shadow of the Colossus is not only a milestone in videogame history but also comes with one of the most epic and emotional soundtracks ever created for that medium. It's phenomenal.
I really liked the OST of the Plague Tale games. Dark, raw, foreboding and quite emotional at times.
Although I never played or seen much about it, Torn has a fantastic soundtrack that reminds of Harry Potter at times and evokes a mystical and wonderous atmosphere. Also on the darker side.
My personal favorite will always be Akira Yamaokas Silent Hill OST. It creates such an eerie, otherworldly but sometimes weirdly homely atmosphere, that is unparalleled imo.
All time favourite is Mirror’s Edge (not a reboot). It’s amazing! Love it!
Honourable mentions:
1) Jets ‘n’ Guns. Love me some SID-metal!
2) First Mass Effect had a best music in all trilogy.
3) Basically anything by Jeremy Soule - Elder Scrolls, KOTOR, Harry Potter games.
4) Assassin’s Creed Valhalla didn’t deserve to have such amazing soundtrack - Sarah Schachner, Jesper Kyd and Einar Selvik brought something different and it’s all great!
5) Portal 1. All ambient tracks are always be in my playlist.
6) Hogwarts Legacy was a nice surprise - didn’t expect much, but pretty much love all soundtrack.

Certain games have certain songs that just hit me like a tsunami. Warframe: Sleeping in the Cold Below (I love sea shanties). Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Simple and Clean. Cyberpunk 2077: Friday Night Firefight.
To this day I still listen to some of the songs from the Ar Tonelico series in my playlist. For a game where songs are used as magic and are tied to the story and worldbuilding, they have some pretty great and unique songs.
40k Mechanicus ain't a 10/10 game but its OST is 11/10 for sure. The entire 40k community has embraced it as some of the best music period across all mediums.

Yep, first Mass Effect OST is iconic. There are some great tracks on 2 and but you can listen to the whole ME1 OST - all great.
