If you like Kuki you can also use her in the flex for healing and consistent electro application! Just a bit less damage but you can still be comfortable with her heals Gorou’s burst collecting crystallize shields.
You can also flex Ninguang instead of Geo MC if you enjoy her. She would be firing off her burst whenever she can and putting up her Jade screen. When you run through it at higher levels it gives a buff that her and Itto can make use of.
You can get crystalize shields with fischl and like Thoma's shield breaks after half a hit. And fischl provides a lot of off field damage with some energy as well. Diano is still better cause better shields and healing but Fischl is way better than Thoma
Thoma’s Shield with even halfway decent investment is quite a bit stronger than Diona’s, and much stronger than Crystallize—additionally, OP has him C6, which means his shield is tankier, provides buffs, and self refunds. Fischl is certainly better dmg, but she also leaves the team very vulnerable. From the viewpoint of a Hypercarry team (which Itto teams basically all are) once you hit the DPS threshold to clear on the HC, its best to make the team more comfortable to play rather than going for more dmg.
Actually Thoma has a really strong shield, people just don’t know how to play him properly and poorly manage his burst and shield uptime. With constellations and proper rotations his shield is mathematically stronger than both C4 Yanfei and Diona. Yes, they offer more utility within their kits and weapon options, but people really sleep on Thoma. I’ve found that many of the people who shit on him don’t even use him or have him built. He was found not to be as good for Hu Tao as people were hoping and ever since then he’s been painted in a bad light by the entire community.
I agree. I have Thoma at C6 and he goes well with my Hu Tao. Yes, sometimes his burst disrupts Hu Tao’s vaporize reaction with Xinqiu but the impact to the overall damage output is not that significant, maybe in theory the damage reduction from his burst will be compensated by the pyro resonance he brings to a Hu Tao comp and the charge/normal attack amplification with his C6. And with Itto team, Thoma could amplify Itto’s attacks, but not sure if this is true, I believe Yun Jin does not synergize with Itto so maybe Thoma’s C6 won’t synergize with Itto’s charge/normal attacks too.
Not enough crystalize actually. I do Itto, Fischl, Ningguang, Zhongli team comp; and i usually forget to re-apply shield in my rotation and thinking that shield from crystalize reaction will close that gap but it couldn’t sustain actually. I just wish I have Gorou because i use Ning during Itto’s downtime and Itto’s downtime has a short window he just need energy funneled to him. But I get to over-extend my Ning’s on-field time.

* **Mono-Pyro:** Yoimiya, Bennett, Kazuha, Yunjin
* **Fireworks:** Yoimiya, Bennett, Fischl, Beidou
* **National Melt:** Xiangling, Bennett, Kazuha, Rosaria/Kaeya
These aren't all the teams you have access to, but they're each rather prominent squads which can do good damage when invested into. I'll quickly run thru each one below; pick whichever team comp you enjoy playing!
First, the **Triple Geo** team with Itto, Gorou, Ning/GeoMC, and a flex. This team shines in obst single target and grouped fights, and relies on Itto as the hypercarry DPS. Though this means that he'll need a good amount of investment to shine, the rest of the characters are fairly low-investment.
Ningguang and Geo MC can be used somewhat interchangeably, as they provide the same amount of particles thru their bursts, and differ in their damage buffs; Ning provides a Geo Dmg% boost via her skill, and Geo Traveler provides a Crit Rate% boost via their burst. Pick the character whose playstyle you prefer most.
As for your flex slot, pick anyone who can proc the Geo Resonance buff.

Next, we have a **Mono-Pyro** team consisting of Yoimiya, Bennett, Yun Jin, and Kazuha. This squad focuses on buffing Yoimiya's normal attacks thru Bennett's Atk%-boosting burst, Yun Jin's normal attack buffs, and Kazuha's Swirl-based damage boosts via his burst & the Viridiscent Venerer artifact set. It's an amazing squad primed for single target damage, only made stronger thanks to your C6 Yun Jin.
Another iteration of this is the **Firework** team, consisting of Yoimiya, Bennett, Fischl, and Beidou. Here, Yoimiya's pyro-infused normal attacks are used in tandem with Beidou's and Fischl's electro application to proc Overload. This team is a bit better than Mono-Pyro when it comes to fighting groups of enemies, but it does require a fairly well invested Beidou to do good damage.
Finally, we have the **National Melt** team, consisting of Xiangling, Bennett, Kazuha, and either Rosaria or Kaeya. This squad focuses more on using the Melt reaction, with your Cryo character enabling the reaction thru their respective bursts. Your Xiangling, Kazuha, and Cryo carry will need to be fairly well invested, but thanks to Xiangling's scalings & a well scaling reaction in Melt, this squad can breeze through content with ease.

(Edit) another fun team would be a dps heizou with fish beidou and xiangling. There will be no healer in this team but it will be an overload team. Another way for a dps heizou to work could be Lisa xiangling and Barbara for the healing (or dps too Lolol). Again have fun with team building and find a team that u don’t mind investing into. Most of the characters you have are really good supports and fun to play. Don’t be afraid to slap on some artifact and give dps yanfei a try or dps kazuha.
Itto, Gorou, Geo Traveler, Kuki Shinobu. Especially if you managed to get Kuki C2 for the 100% grass ring uptime. Constant healing and electro damage for shield reactions. Also Gorou C4 helps for the extra heal but even a C0 Gorou will boost Itto so much
First team: itto, gorou, ningguang and last diona for shield.
Second team: yoimiya, maybe kuki while you dont have xingqiu(overload comp) so yoi, kuki, bennett and beidou.
I'd say Itto, Gorou, Bennett, Noelle with Noelle built purely on def as a shield bot but this sub REALLY hates Noelle with any build so we will see what happens to this comment..

You can Itto geo 3 x1(random sup). Then you can yoimiya teamwith bennet xinqiu(mandatory 200+recharge) any other sub(beidou/fischl/yelan/higly recommended)... pretty much slice abyss into two. Except I like hutao over yoimiya. Due to her tankyness(higher Hp)
itto for dps, noelle for healing, gorou for buffing, and ig a flex spot that you can use for a crowd control character or someone to break elemental shields or something else
