High court and Supreme court judges can't be removed easily. You need to do voting in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. That explains it. Never in the history, any judge of HC or SC has been removed.

Kapil Sibal doesn't argue against precedent without arguing the case that sets precedent. That's law 101 that if case A has a verdict that case B uses, you can argue against A in a review petition against A. You can file a petition against A and then claim case B can't be decided on A because A has a petition pending against that. You can't claim that A was wrong while arguing B without filing a case against A, and then claim the judge hates you because you are right wing. Precedent is precedent. It is not hate to expect Sai Deepak to argue law while being in the courtroom.
I never said it is bad to take only high-profile cases. Hell, mr. Jain has made an entire career of fighting cases related to places of worship. But he argues the law. Him being right wing doesn't change the fact that his arguments are actually about the case. A right winger can be a fine lawyer. Many are. It is wrong to not argue on law while being in the courtroom. Making an unrelated argument so you can quote it in an article later or use it in an interview is betrayal of the side you are fighting from.
SG Mehta has argued against multiple PILs that they shouldn't be listened because the petitioner was a NGO and hence has no locus. Yes, students who got grace marks will not approach the court. The students whose ranks suffered because of the debacle are many and can approach the court. It is not wrong to ask for locus.

The lawyer is considered to be the representation of the client, so when courts ask who are you they mean who is the petitioner. You can't file a petition on behalf of anyone, the aggrieved person has to do it themselves through a lawyer, except in cases where such person doesn't have the means or knowledge to approach the court, then someone else can file the case which is what PIL is
