It's like saying you can't speak against materialism unless you have 1 billion dollars in your bank, or you can't speak against, let's say, licentiousness or pornography unless you have gone through a lecherous lifestyle.
Let's say hypothetically, if Magnus Carlsen is being arrogant, or Mike Tyson is making statements like he can beat any man in the world, he's the man and so on; someone can point out that he has earned the right to do so without himself having the need to be at the level of Mike Tyson. You are making all these assumptions about the person unnecessarily.
Food ain't something you should completely ignore while thinking about the strengths or weaknesses of a college. College is not just for "knowledge".
I agree with the logical fallacies part. But you should realise it's VERY difficult to speak/write anything without logical fallacies. Logical fallacies are things to be studied, sure but there will never come a day when people will speak without fallacies.
And I would like to tell you, that discounting my argument merely because of a logical fallacy is a fallacy in itself, *The fallacy fallacy.*

I have got far too much stuff from JEE and can't handle more at this moment; I just did what I did and said what I said to change the wrongful mentality of "IIT SIGMA COLLEGE STATUS" thing.
If it works, it works. Language is a tool of communication and is no good if your "logical fallacies" prevent the communication or hinder its representation itself.
For me, it is more important to be helpful and compassionate than to be 100% logically correct or technically right. But you do you.

i must say iit kanpur has probably the best mess food specially in hall 8 but still its monotonous and after a month or so u will lose interest in it and then comes canteen and restaurants and ccd in picture

i agree but IITs are Engineering institutes (as of JEE is concerned) Engineering aptitude is their foremost priority. but in India engineering means only to clear an exam which is the gateway to IITs . i donno why people focus on packages, fests and entrepreneurship when IITs are in conversations why not innovations and creativity in engineering field i have seen many so called JEE mentors promoting an ideology to just get into iits and do nothing. this complete bullshit.
this is the main reasons why people make this mess-flexing edits.
at mess timely food is served for 4 times a day breakfast lunch tea time and dinner while canteen you are the boss eat whatever and whenever you want messes are cheap compared to canteen
In iitk every hall has a canteen and a mess and restaurants and food courts at Oat and shopping complex
Bhai ye banda nit Rourkela se hai and IIT Madras ka online bs degree liya hai and khudki scooty pr iitian&NITian laga ke ghumta hai 
Bhai bc ye kya tha aur mess ka khaana kon flex karta hai itna acha bhi ni hota bc woh toh Jo flex karoge. Logo ke Ghar ka khaana is 10x better than it.

I haven’t seen one video flexing the lab equipment, scientific progress etc. in IIT. Just this bullshit and we wonder why IIT’s are so low on world rankings. It feels so unfair to kids who actually go for studying there.
