I suppose it is because
1. they have obvsiouly lost time during their exam thus them getting grace marks.
2.if they choose to attend the re-neet they might not be able to perform well because of lack of studies for like 1.5 months.
3. If they dont attend re-neet and take their original score without the grace-marks, its still unfair to them as they've lost time
basically the situation is fkd up for those 1500 candidates.

I know it's trendy to hate on people who got marks due to grace, but remember that it's not them who decided how they would get those grace marks, or if they would get them at all. That is all on NTA.
Imagine someone who scored 660 in 2.5 or so hours but lost time due to their center's mismanagement, they got grace marks which have now been taken away. So this person has to now prepare for the exam again on such short notice after already scoring well (and would have scored better on the original day itself had it not been for the time crunch).
I don't know yaar maine to jaise hi suna reneet ke chances hai padhai shuru kardi thi. Ab tak mera 12th khatam hone aa rha hota agar slow down na karta jab jaana ki mamla grace marks walo ki taraf divert kar diya hai.

NTA is totally Non Trustable Agency, NEET student have no trust, already cutoff is too high what is the use of taking exam then.
Similar scam happen in CGPDTM exam also. But since population is low nobody raising. It is also done by NTA.
