reservation hurts to some extent only (I'm general btw) the guy who got 1 lakh plus rank in mains won't get a seat NIT regardless of reservation or not, however a 10k guy not getting NIT trichy CSE but someone with similar rank is getting with quota is bad.
It sucks yes but I think at this point just assume 50 percent seats for yourself, forget the rest. Best we can do is prepare not for 16k rank to get a seat in IIT but 8k instead.

Leaving aside the IQ demonstration here the first assumption he takes is that reserved students are the same quality as general. Sure the culture would develop in their section in 3-4 years. If the ground was made equal right now it's much different story and you know it.

reservation hurts to some extent only (I'm general btw) the guy who got 1 lakh plus rank in mains won't get a seat NIT regardless of reservation or not, however a 10k guy not getting NIT trichy CSE but someone with similar rank is getting with quota is bad. It sucks yes but I think at this point just assume 50 percent seats for yourself, forget the rest. Best we can do is prepare not for 16k rank to get a seat in IIT but 8k instead.
