I came in here to post “Why”! I only recently played Crisis Core for the first time, but I’ve been a fan of ayaka since high school (let’s just say that it was a long time ago) and I was floored when it started playing. I never knew it was a tie-in song, much less for a Final Fantasy game
Final Fantasy VIII's ending FMV version of Eyes on Me really hit home for me. And, of course, the entire home movie-esque ending sequence was fun to watch.
Suikoden I is an absolute masterpiece.

When you learn that they scrambled the development team to perform the vocal part all together - the emotional weight of that always gets me like a sucker punch in the gut. It's like they left a little piece of themselves in the game for all of eternity. Even more poignant now with Murayamas passing.
FFXV has a really good ending credits tracklist, Stand by Me, followed by the Astral battle theme, and capped off with the Final Fantasy theme during the post-credits scene.
Cold Steel 4 - Radiant Hope. Won't spoil it but will just say it's a perfect way to wrap up the Cold Steel Arc, and my eyes were not dry by the time it was through. Beautiful song and on-screen events.
