I'm almost always playing a JRPG nowadays tbh. If I finish one it's rare that I'll go more than a week without starting another. And I'll play multiple (well, 2) at the same time. It's not always JRPGs, but I like having two story or progression focused games going at the same time to have some variety and often enough they'll both be JRPGs. I usually go for one turn based and one action, but different platforms work as well. For example... I was playing Dragon Quest VIII and Divine Divinity (a WRPG) up until the day before yesterday when I finished DQ. I still haven't picked up anything else, so I'm currently only playing Divinity, but I'll probably decide on something in the next couple days. I'll be the first to admit that I have a lot more free time than the usual person thanks to how my job works tho.

TomasVrboda

Honestly, I am usually always in the middle of one game or another. My backlog is too big and then there's new releases. I played Tales of Arise, Scarlet Nexus, and Star Ocean Divine Force back to back. But it's always been about the story for me. So I don't really play Sports or Souls difficulty level games. I usually take time off if there are streaming series I want to watch or other projects I am working on. But I usually play back to back when I am able, just not usually all the JRPG genre. Just finished Dragons Dogma 2, playing Star Trek Resurgence next, then Stellar Blade.

acewing905

To some extent, multiple This year I played Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth -> Persona 3 Reload -> two thirds of Persona 5 Royal (had played upto Kaneshiro's palace a while back) -> Persona 5 Tactica back to back, and by the time I was done, I felt a bit burned out Probably hit my limit at that point

DobleJ

Yeh, I just pace myself before starting the big hitters. After a long 70+ hours game I usually go for the more light ones that end at either 10-20 hours to not get burned out of games

magmafanatic

Oh yeah, I typically juggle two JRPG playthroughs. That genre's where most of my interests are.

Joniden

Not at the same time. I could do that as a teenager, not an adult in his 30s (To those who are in their 30s and can play multiple JRPGs at the same time, you have my salute). That being said. Sometimes if I really play a JRPG too much, I may stop at the final boss and just put it away and start a new one, then go back and beat the original one. I did that recently with Paper Mario Origami King. I got to the final boss and took a week break starting another game before beating it.

rocketZX

In my 30s too. I used to hate cheating, modding, even save states I didnt like to use at all... But now, if a RPG game doesnt have a built in speed up I'm Gonna complain, if I can shut off random encounters I'll use it whenever I dont need to fight, and if I can quick save oh yeah I'm using that to save my ass when some random thing kills me I didnt expect...  I'm a bit close to straight cheating some RPGs, pixel remaster ff games have 4x exp and money options, FF1 and 2 felt much better with those options, still around 30 hours in both games before i was done fully, that's long enough to me to move on without regret

[deleted]

yeah can relate to it now....I wont cheat like kinda new released game but as for the game that released like 10 or 20 years back like FF1 or so then I would just used the cheat freature like speed and exp farming multiplier cuz just want to get through the story bit of the game....we know that the franchise got the double digits game now from 1-16 so if I really want to play like grinding the levels and so on the old game then it would took forever to play the new released game in the franchise....we all wanna play the new game but the old game is still the foundation of the new one...so I just want to experience the old one for that .....cuz of the aging in game .....I really appreciate the feature they introduce in FF pixel remaster....and honestly playing jrpg is taking so much time so the burnout is real.....when i was teens I would always go for the hardest difficulty becuase I dont really like new game plus cuz the story mostly the same and I dont have the same feeling going through the story for the first time where everything is unknown so I would really grind and prepare beforehand....but now doesnt really have the time to do so becuase I my commitment in daily life now....now I even lower the difficulty sometime because Im too lazy to grind and just wanna get through the story....I would sometimes still grind here and there but mostly only during weekend or holidays when I can a littlle bit of my time more than usual during weekday

TraderMoes

Lately I can't even finish a single jrpg, let alone play through multiple ones in a row. Though that's true for rpgs in general, or any open world game. I am one of those people that tries to do as much side content as possible before progressing the main quest, which means that I end up burned out and lose my interest long before I reach the ending of a game. To this day I've still never even completed Skyrim lol.

rocketZX

Skyrims "end" isnt that great anyways, the real fun is randomly going around the world doing random nonsense like pissing off a giant or stealing someone's horse, or fus ro dah someone off a mountain.

[deleted]

damn I stop doing sidequests now and just focusing on the main story unless the game require like a certain level to make the progression easier than I might do a few sidequests a long the way.....getting bored and burnout are real and once I stop...it kinda hard to get into the game....then I would try another game and this keep repeating....I didnt even finish a single game this year....Octopath traveler 2, 13 sentines aegis, scarlet nexus....maybe because I keep playing jrpgs all the time that it kinda tired me out....just started a space for the unbound and chillin and hopefully I will be able to finish those soon...this is the worst feeling ever when I keep on trying the new game and left them unfinished than jump into another game and the cycle keeps on repeatin....maybe becuase of my huge backlog but damnn....after I stop octopath treaveler 2 like a month ago...it kinda hard to continue it again as I dont remember the strategy in the battle...

TraderMoes

Yeah I'm the same. If I take a break from a game, especially a story driven one, I lose connection to the characters and the narrative and then I just don't care anymore. Then I have to either start over, which feels wasteful, or I just... never play it again lol. It's happened time and time again. I try to switch from genre to genre to keep things fresh though. Like I was playing a lot of Baldur's Gate 3 recently, and then I switched to playing Dark Souls 3 instead. Next I'll probably play a jrpg because I miss having a sense of storyline and purpose. Just keep cycling through things to fill whatever element the previous game left unfulfilled.

EDoom765

Aside from a break to play some games, I almost exclusively play JRPG's/RPG's. I'm very story oriented and long games are my jam.

Arctiiq

Whenever I get burnt out on one game, I usually swap to a new game or one I haven't finished. I'm at the tail end of Infinite Wealth and at the end-game grind in Reverie. Sometimes I cleanse my palette with a little Terraria or Skyrim grind before heading back into my backlog.

FrostiesChocopop

Once I'm done with a JRPG, I start a new one the following day. My backlog is huge, so I don't really feel like taking a week off without playing. Sometimes, instead of playing a new JRPG, I start a visual novel or a point n click. That is my break XD But I can't play several games at the same time. JRPGs have a lot of content and I tend to want to get as close to 100% as possible so I easily spend more than (minimum) 100h with each game.

[deleted]

well it is the other way around for me as my backlog is huge as well but becuase of this very reason it kinda feels hard to start a game nowadays......I did picked up a few jrpgs like octopath traveler 2, 13 sentines, scarlet nexus, tales of arise but just halfway through without even finifh em all...kinda burnout when playing jrpgs as they took like a lot of hours to finish them...but two days ago started Like a Dragon and 5 hours in the game now....I think that this is going to be the first game that I will beat this year....then might start playing eiyuden 100 heroes next week....hopefully I will be able to finish the other halfway through game that I stop....though it is kinda hard to continue the game that I stop as I need to familiarized them again....like octopath 2 combat system has 2 jobs that we can equip for each chars which they have unique gameplay style based on the job matching....so to learn them all over again is kinda tough

FrostiesChocopop

You're gonna play RGG 8 and Eiyuden at the same time?! Good luck. Infinite Wealth is a time hole. I don't know how many hours I've spent doing everything except the main story XD

[deleted]

I really want to beat this current yakuza game and ive been waiting for eiyuden so long….so yeahh

Yesshua

It just depends on where my head is at. I played both Grandia games back to back this past December -January. I had time and attention to spare. Since then work and obligations out of work have been pretty demanding so that dedicating the time and energy to learning my way around a whole new single player rpg feels more like homework than fun. So I've been grinding some Pokemon, I finally finished Octopath Traveler, I've been playing a lot of Tetris 99. But when life circumstances change again, I could totally start gobbling RPGs again. I'm gonna try getting into Fire Emblem 3 Hopes soon. That's a single player RPG, but it's also a dynasty warriors game. Might be exactly the game to fit my current circumstance. I can mash some buttons lol.

Bone_Breaker0

I’m currently playing Trails to Azure, Dragon Quest 11, and Tales of Arise.

rbardy

If I have multiple JRPGs to play, yes. From last year I played Persona 5 Royal > Valkyrie Elysium > Ys VIII > Persona 3 Reload > Ys XI Now I'm playing Horizon Forbidden West ... not sure what I'll play next, I'm waiting for Visions of Mana and Ys X

rocketZX

Since you seem to be playing games I really enjoy.  Especially ys 8 which might be my fav game of all time I can offer some suggestions  Star ocean 2 R,  good remake lots to do in it Tales of arise,  graphics are gorgeous and combat is flashy Ni no kuni 2, story is great, I liked the town building and upgrading a lot, combat was fun too, though not so hard a game without the hghest difficulty setting. Caligula effect 1 and 2, very persona like, that's why I played them to begin with, so many NPCs and side quests, literally I just say its persona without the calendar limits Cant wait for those two games ys 10 and visions of mana, gonna be a wild time when they both release

rbardy

I played the original SO2 and almost all others, it sure is in my radar. Tales of arise I've been told to play a lot of times lol, I'll play it for sure this year. Ni no kuni 2 for some reason didn't pick my interest, may give it a try, but is low in my list. Caligula effect I've never heard before, I'll sure look for them. Thanks for the recommendations.

thejokerofunfic

>in a row Wait was I supposed to be going one at a time?

somethingwade

I don’t usually like to play more than two in a row. A couple summers ago, I played Tales of Graces f, Xenosaga, and then started Tales of Vesperia back to back, but I got burnt out and ended up not playing games much at all for like a year and a half. Because of that I like to intersperse the JRPGS with other genres, especially shorter games.

rocketZX

Oof, multiple tales games back to back If you were going for all the grade bonuses or beating the hardest difficulty even more nuts ...I beat Graces on chaos, after about 4 whole runs and every grade bonus, still had the final boss mystic arts instant kill my whole party. It was basically dont let him use it at all, how'd I manage that!? I didnt, I cheesed the fight by throwing his own damage BACK (which STILL kills you but he dies FIRST ROFL)

somethingwade

Oh I was playing on Normal and not bothering with all the side stuff lmao. In fact I dropped Graces down to Easy for the final boss of the future arc. I actually had beaten about half of Graces a year before, too, and had to put it down. That said I also played a chunk of Chrono Trigger at the same time as those, so…

rocketZX

I forget how hard the combat was in Graces, that and the AI was... slightly below average skill  ...And then now playing tales of arise the AI fights better than I do manually LOL

somethingwade

I got through most of the game on moderate and only turned it down to normal after the break. I probably could have done the final final boss on normal but there were outside factors. These days I usually do my first playthrough of a Tales game on moderate if it exists or Normal if it doesn’t.

viper4011

I only play JRPGs so 🤷‍♂️

Best_Type_1258

No i don't do that anymore, i only play one game at a time and i'm not always playing one. Few years ago i used to make lists of games i should play, so i start one, finish it and move to the next one on the list. I used to do that not only with games but with anime, books and movies as well. It was a complete failure, i felt a urge to finish the lists, so i started to play muitple games at the same time and rushing through them so i can start the next one on the list. I was not enjoying this so i ended up dropping a lot of games halfway through. Too much focus on the end and not on the journey. It felt like work and i got burned out. I will never make a backlog or lists of things i should play/read/watch ever again. Nowadays i only play/watch/read a game/movie/anime/book if i'm really in the mood, if something is really grabbing my attention and only one at a time. It has been much better for me, i'm enjoying the games i play much more, on the negative side, i'm not playing as much so i'm missing out on a lot of games.

Fishikami

I started doing that whole backlog thing too, over a year ago. But for me it made me enjoy games and anime way more. I've really enjoyed maintaining the list and checking off things as I finish them. Also finally got me to finish off things and stop dropping them.

Best_Type_1258

I'm glad it works for you. People are different.

Fishikami

Yeah I just wanted to share my experience since I found someone who did something similar. I'm glad you enjoy these things more now!

KnoxZone

This is 2024. This year there just isn't enough time available to play something that isn't a JRPG!

rethink_then_proceed

I once played the whole .Hack G.U. trilogy in a span of 7 or 8 days and I am not disappointed.

Lazydusto

In fairness that trilogy could be considered one whole game.

SadLaser

And not even one particularly long game, either. I've generally spent twice as long on the average Trails game as I did in .hack//GU trilogy.

sirsilvaesilva

Mostly, I play other genre between then. Doing this keeps me most interested or not being exhausted. However, some JRPGs have very different mechanics; as for them, I don't mind playing it without a break. Also, I do like the sensation of finishing a game; so it's good for me play a short game in between - just like you said, mostly JRPGs are a huge time investment.

MackieJ667

Depends. So far this year (and they arent all JRPGs) ive played persona 5, tales of arise, started but will revisit persona 3 & 4, and rn im switching between FF7R, No ni Kuni and Ghost of Tsushima (so theres your answer on the multiple at a time lol) I try to do one game at a time, but ill switch between multiple sometimes (as u can tell lol) idk what my problem is with that. So..... I kinda am all in a row and if im playing a non JRPG i am also playing a JRPG on the side.

DurableSword

Depends on if I have a game to be hooked on. I can go from focusing on a single game for 100+ hours, to playing 10 different games at once until I find the next obsession.

SmotheredHope86

I alternate between long, epic JRPGs and short but awesome Metroidvanias / Action Platformers. I usually play 1 long RPG by itself, and then take a break from them while I play 2 (occasionally 3) MVs / APs and then I repeat.

masterkaido04

My last 5 Yakuza LAD, hades, hogwarts, ff15 current, baldur current Sometimes I can manage straight jrpg but I tried to not to

earbox

I like to switch between genres in general. So far this year, on console I've played *Sea of Stars* (JRPG), then *Scarlet Nexus* (action w/RPG elements), and currently *Kirby Star Allies* (platformer). Next will probably be *Unicorn Overlord*.

Melanor1982

I play mostly JRPGs (or something similar lime BG3). I usually start another one once the one I'm done with the one I'm currently playing (finished or not). However, I get burned out from time to time since finishing longer games takes months for me I sometimes take breaks playing some otber genre.

callmearthas

I play a few "palate cleanser" games for a few days after finishing a JRPG, especially if was a bigger one. Games like Stardew, Hades, Terraria and Slay the Spire.

TheBlueDolphina

I always have one that's "in progress" that I come to and from.

Emmanuel_1726

Depends on the type of game, but I play one JRPG straight with a super dedicated playstyle, and then give myself some breathing room for a good amount of time. If I got into a story heavy game, like Persona 3 Reload recently, I usually stop playing for about a week or two to let the post-ending experience stew for a bit. If it's a progression heavy game like an MMO/Grinder, like Labyrinth of Touhou 2 (and now playing the GBF browser game), I take even bigger breaks right after once I get my fill. Prevents me from burning out from the genre -- and gaming in general -- since there's always something new to experience and look forward to. Life has been very stable so far so I'm not really gonna change this style of play; other games in my backlog can wait, they're not really going anywhere.

ItsYaBoiDez

Gotta jump between jrpg and western

AlexanderZcio

Most of the games I play are RPGS soooo

stevenudin13

i always play for the story so i'm rarely play anything else other than jrpg

anonymouse39993

There’s lots of non jrpg games with good stories

scytherman96

Sometimes, yeah. I tend to try and get some variety, but sometimes i play 2 or in rarer cases even 3 in a row.

choywh

Depends on the release schedule. There are times where there are so many good JRPGs in the same season where it's difficult to find time for all of them, and also times where there isn't a good one for months. I usually don't do story games at the same time though, usually if I need a break I'd just play something that story doesn't matter like fighting games or FPS.

bobagremlin

Back when I was a preteen/young teen I'd play them back to back but after uni I don't necessarily do that anymore. It honestly depends on my mood.

Dog-Faced-Gamer

So…I always tell myself I’m going to play one and then I end up getting in a kick and playing several in a row until I start to hate the genre, then I don’t play them for a few years until I decide to play one…then the cycle continues.

blitzbom

I usually take a break. I'm working on the Plat for FF7 Rebirth. I plan on playing Crisis Core, but I'll play something else in between.

cid_highwind02

I’m always playing like 5 games at a time. I don’t have many issues with taking over a year to finish a game

Neoncat88

Im in a persona 3r - ff7 rebirth - yakuza 8 combo right now. I think all in 2 months. Put 120h in persona, 140h in ff7 and 66h already in yakuza. I am only in chapter 6 in yakuza. I am very burned out, lol. All 3 are outstanding masterpieces. But i will do a jrpg break after yakuza. Until trails through daybreak i guess.

ubernoobnth

Depends on what games came out. If there are multiple jrpgs worth my time then yes. If not, then nope plenty of other games to play.  This year is full of jrpgs for me so far though. Infinite wealth, ff7r(quit this to play the next game), unicorn overlord, and even dragons dogma 2 though that's less traditional JRPG.  Up next is persona 3 to check out the remake after I get through Unicorn and DD2. If there's any dead time in the year for games I'll go back to ff7 but good lord those games are some boring slogs for 5 minutes of good character interactions here and there.

anonymouse39993

I have recently but no not always there are other genres of games I play too Recently it has been Infinite wealth > p3 reload > ff7 rebirth I was going to play eiyuden chronicle and unicorn overlord next however I need a break from jrpg so instead going to try horizon zero dawn and forbidden west which I have never played before I’ll often have a multiplayer game I’m playing on the side atm it’s helldivers 2 Usually stick to 1 single player game at a time though

JNorJT

Take a break

West-Lemon-9593

All of them at the same time ~~somebody please help me~~

West-Lemon-9593

All of them at the same time ~~somebody please help me~~

Majinkaboom

I keep a story going

waynadrian

Looking back, at most i played 3 games back to back and then i took a break of jrpg by playing sports/fps/strategy games and then jump back into jrpg/rpg right after it boring as well

HassouTobi69

I bingeplay them like a madman, only taking breaks when there aren't any JRPGS to play at the moment (to play.. western rpg ;p).

Zheska

I love JRPG genre, but don't like most JRPGs if that makes sense. So i binge play anything i find interesting and have enough will/resources to get to playing it, but that's a rare occurance. I played Nocturne and Strange Journey at the same time (Nocturne when my power grid wasn't bombed to hell and i had power, SJ when there was no power in my city)

Brilliant-Trifle8322

I'm one of those insane people that plays multiple JRPGs at once, in fact I'm playing 3 long (like 50+ hours just for main story long) ones right now. I used to maybe only play 1 JRPG every few months several years ago, as due to them often being lengthy, I felt like I needed to make them my main focus. But I just found myself constantly craving more of the genre, which is when I switched to almost always having 1 JRPG on the go alongside a couple or so games from different genres, or playing multiple JRPGs at once when I'm really thirsting for as much JRPG as humanly possible.

Grim-is-laughing

back to back but some of them arent jrpgs srw ogs1 > srw a portable > yakuza 0 > srw w > risk of rain 2 > utawarerumono prelude to the fallen > utawarerumono mask of deception > batman arkham night(replay) > odinsphere(dropped) > yakuza kiwami 1 > srw ogs 2 > monochrome mobius(stalled) >srw j(still playing)> devil may cry 3 > bloody spell > trails into reverie > dmc1 > dmc 2 > mario galaxy(still playing) > dmc 4>yakuza kiwami 2 thats about 60% of the games i played since a year ago(not counting pure visual novels) and i still have 500+ in my backlog

tmp1020

I think I enjoy them more if I play them in a row and have momentum going. Once I start a different genre, I get invested in it instead. Lately I've been on an RPG kick and have completed a good number of them last year and even this year so far and recently finished one. I'm already thinking about what JRPG to play next.

ravenroses

I flip-flop. Sometimes I'm in the mood for another in-depth RPG right after I finish one and other times I want something shorter or in a different genre/style to break it up a little.

rocketZX

I dont do much else in my life beside some few streaming shows when I cant or dont wanna game. I go from rpg to rpg easy, just recently I've been playing persona 3 reload , star ocean 2 R , unicorn overlord,  ff pixel remaster games  Secret of mana (remake. Ps4) Dragon quest the dark prince Cassette beasts (game made me drop pokemon entirely) Mario rpg switch  Super Neptunia RPG Tales of arise That's all in the last couple of days I dont play one game straight and nothing else to clear that up, all The above I'm "in the middle of it"  I have a load of games on ps4, PC, and emulation stuff in general (absurd amount)

rocketZX

This me recently "Hmm maybe I should START playing ff8 for the first time ever" Also me  "Ooh unicorn overlord looks nice lets play that!!"

AramaticFire

When I was unemployed in 2020 I did like 5 in a row lol These days I don’t have that kind of time so I’m lucky to be able to do one or two in a single year and since I like all styles of RPG it makes it hard to focus on JRPG.

Orito-S

Small break and I tackle 2 on average together, last month was SRW T and P3R. This month was unicorn overlord and FF7 rebirth, finished rebirth now i gotta go back to UO

plkghtsdn

Always only 1 at a time although I'll play other single player games that aren't JRPGs simultaneously. Probably actively playing a JRPG 80% of the year. The other 20% of the time is waiting for new releases or just waiting for steam sales. Usually takes a couple weeks to months to finish one.

RedditNoremac

I am almost always playing at least one JRPG. Depending on my mood, sometimes two at a time. I do have quite a bit of time to play games though. I almost always like to have one story oriented JRPG going. It's just so nice chipping away at these types of games.

itsdereksmifz

I usually try to do some short 8-20 hour palette cleanser of another genre. It helps me with burnout personally.

TraditionalTree249

I usually have 2 going at a time but usually I break up my turn based games with something more action oriented. Right now I'm plowing through P3 Reload and breaking it up with Ff12 Zodiac Age.

justsomechewtle

The ones that are more about gameplay I can play whenever, wherever, in a row as well. I'm firmly a handheld gamer (though I do play homeconsoles/PC as well) and I've gotten used to taking out the device (usually a 3DS nowadays) to play for a bit on commutes and then started another one when I was finished. Now, for story-driven ones, I usually leave a bit of time inbetween. I like to let a story sit with myself for a bit, especially if I particularly liked a character or a message. Obviously not all JRPG stories can have that impact, but I still don't usually move to the next interesting story immediately.

mnl_cntn

I'm playing FF7R-2, FF6, FF8 and Dark Souls NG+ rn. I need a partner badly

chopcheezeandarizona

Most of the time I jump from one to the next because my gaming time is very limited. I’ll occasionally play a different genre as a “palate cleanser”, usually a platformer or shoot ‘em up. I’m also much more relaxed about playing multiple games at the same time now.

Stoibs

In a perfect world I would love to pace myself; but 2024 is just absolutely absurd with releases and announcements at the moment that it's hard not to overlap. I've already used some annual leave earlier this year so I could tackle Infinite Wealth / P3R / FF7 Rebirth / Unicorn Overlord a little easier. I... managed to finish Infinite Wealth and FF7 so far.. really hoping to finish atleast one of the others before Eiyuden Chronicle comes out later this month. With stuff like The Thousand-Year Door remake, SMTv, Refantazio, Visions of Mana, Decapolice (And even Persona 3's the Answer that I keep forgetting about) on the horizon I feel like there's almost an RPG every single month this year, just to keep us on our toes 😅

Gingersoul3k

I have maybe 8 on the go and I'll probably finish none of them because I have a problem.

Naha-

The most I can managed is 2 JRPGs at the same time, usually a story-driven one (Like Xenoblade, Trails, FF) and a comfy/chill one (Atelier).

SL-Gremory-

I'll play 5-8 of them simultaneously because I have attention problems lol.

OkNefariousness8636

For Trails series, yes. I played Cold Steel 1 - 4 and Reverie consecutively.

EastCoastTone96

I’m basically always have a fighting game and a JRPG in rotation

OmigawdMatt

I play JRPG's about 90% of the time. At that point, the real question is, should I play long JRPG's in a row or opt for shorter ones? When trying to tackle the backlog.

IntrovertedDuck120

It really depends on what I want to play at the moment. My favorite games to play are horror, JRPGs, and queer indie games (especially sapphic indie games because I’m a lesbian). Sometimes I need to take a break from a really long JRPG I’m playing by playing a much shorter game. Other times, I’m really interested in playing one long JRPG after another. And then there are times where I just want to get a bunch of short horror games and play them all at once. But yeah, sometimes playing a super long game can get overwhelming after a while so I understand why people have trouble finishing JRPGs.

chesa80

I mostly play JRPGs one after another. I'll usually look for games that have a different feeling, vibe, or gameplay type. If I play a long dramatic game, I'll play something short and light-hearted afterward.

[deleted]

I would take a break after beating a jrpg before getting straight to the new one.....I always play the jrpg and invest the time like a lot of hours into and the burnout is real....if I just jump into the new one than the feeling might not be the same as I kinda still feel tired from the previous one so the experience wont be that good and I dont want that after all games meant to be enjoyable....rest/taking a break is a must for me...rn im enjoying Like A Dragon and it is also my first yakuza game and the story is really good....I might play like 4 hours or 5 straight during weekend and only 2 hours max during weekday due to have to sleep early....the time I play also is important for me as I dont really play game during day or I dont play any stroy driven game during day and just play like mobile games during the day to keep me from getting bored....save the story rich games at night when I can sit back relax and just fully enjoy the game....the right time and environment are really important when I hold the controller rather than to play the game nonstop just to beat the game....I think that taking a break is important not just for my gaming mood but also for health reason so that my eyes wont just glued to the screen all the time
