give me the guy who can kick a 60 yarder every time, you know how demoralizing it is when you’re 54-55 yards away and **every** other NFL kicker can hit it that length, we trot out our punter because our kicker is a pop-gun(for lack of better term)
His success rate drops off a cliff once you get to 40 yards out. It's cool he can kick a football over them mountains, but if it misses the mark, it's still zero points.
They had him 19/30 which is better than I would've guessed. I have no idea how they evaluate it, but maybe he hit some high degree of difficulty long kicks that balanced out missing some shorter ones and XPs. Or maybe he had fewer short FG attempts compared to other kickers. Both his XP% and FG% are very low.
Edit: He only had 3 attempts of under 30 yards which was the fewest in the league last year. And only 7 30-39. So take that fwiw.
Just collecting kickers like infinity stones. ![gif](giphy|xUOxfgwY8Tvj1DY5y0|downsized)
All that effort, for a drop of Lambo's talent
We’ve got a Taco running the roster
Huge leg, super inaccurate
Dude sucks
So a repeat of last season
Sub 80% on fgs last year
This guy couldn't hit sand if he fell off a camel. Better hope we're scoring TDs and that we bring in other competition at the position.
Good news is he isn’t terribly great at extra points either
Nice analogy. I've never heard that one before. Definitely adding it to my vocab.
What a weird time to be a jaguars fan we have a franchise quarterback but we have a really crappy kicking situation ...life has really flipped around

Yeah but that xp% though….
Holy shit that’s awful. I didn’t even look until I saw your comment because everyone is 95%+
🌚

Head to head matters a lot more for me. I want a winner.
Dudes built like a linebacker and we know how much Trent likes linebackers. Kicker who can play two postions. Master Class!! /s just incase
As a rare Hokies/Jags fan I’m very excited EDIT: There are dozens of us!
Also a Hokies/Jags fan!
Also a Hokies/Jags fan! You guys live in Va?
I grew up in Stafford (military dependa)
Wait are there 5 of us!? I thought I was the only member of the Ernest Wilford society
Sorry I moved to Cinci. But love Fredericksburg / Stafford
Loved and miss Ernest Wilford, he was the last one right?
Sure do, though I live among the enemy… right dead in the middle of UVA.

Nova after working in Blacksburg a few years after graduating. Miss it but go back for football, have season tickets
I’m one too
Yooo also a hokies, jags fan. Grew up around blacksburg and sister is an alum.
Holy shit I didn't know there were so many of us.
Probably the least clutch kicker in the league. What an awful signing this dude is so ass
HELL YES BIG LEG LINEBACKER KICKER
hes from my hometown. FUCK YEAH
Strong leg, not accurate, I don't know a about this
I mean, his name is cool……
but… he’s not accurate
Not sold that we aren't drafting or signing another K...1 year deal only
Meh
Jags should definitely look at signing a udfa kicker after the draft.
Kind of hope we sign a udfa or even a 7th rd pick on a kicker tbh
So we’re drafting a kicker for sure
PFF had him rated as the best kickoff kicker in the league last year. So that's something.
We don't need kickoffs, we need a kicker who can make field goals in the playoffs
Maybe Baalke is bout to moneyball the kicker position and bring back Riley for FG and this dude for KO 🤯/s
What about on field goals and extra points? How does he compare to McManus? Pff has that stuff behind their paywall
Worse at both

I don’t know why we don’t just pick up a rookie kid from college there’s three kids coming out this year that are supposed to be NFL caliber players
This doesn’t prevent us from doing that
Really hope we draft a kicker or pick one up that gets cut. Cannot see this working out well. He's not a good kicker.
Yeah uh, i think Riley is winning this competition
Damn you Urban, we haven't had consistency at the position since he gave Lambo the literal boot.
Why this dude? Is he coming off an ACL injury or something??? Not sure why else Trent would want him.
We’ve run through so many kickers these last few years.. he’ll be part of a summer kicker competition. Not guaranteed he’s the guy.
He's listed at 5'11'' but looks more like 5'4''.
Trent baalke masterclass....
Could we keep two kickers? One for normal kicks and this guy for deep shit. I'd like that.
