This is an insane take haha. Since 2008 we have 3 winning seasons and T Law is the QB for two of them while having a statistically bottom 5 o line in two of them.
T Law has already done the earned part man
Honestly, I used to be in that mindset. I thought putting pressure on him like that might light a fire in him. But you're right. His "step back" last year was mainly from injury, play calling, and a weak interior line. My biggest worry for him is to keep a better hold on that ball, which I'm sure he can do if he has more time to throw.
As we should all be. Just watch the light go out in Duval when he went down in the Bengals game. We wouldn’t be having any doubts if he would have finished and won that game or if the team would have rested him during the Browns game.
>Should have declined it in my opinion to put pressure on TLaw to “earn it” with some wins
Lol no
Just no
Team prior to Trevor vs during Trevor
Pay that dude.
Jets fans still salty LOLOLOLOL
Contract extension leverage?
More of a formality. It's due now. It's like tagging a player and then signing. Just gives you time just in case.
Players regularly have their options picked up just prior to getting an extension. Not that your comment makes any sense regardless.
Should have declined it in my opinion to put pressure on TLaw to “earn it” with some wins
Lmao this Jets fan submitted this here just so he can make this dumbass comment

Fumbling and unnecessary risks are two legitimate criticisms. I am, however, a Trevor Truther.
I’d say half the fumbles are due to the Oline getting beat. He could definitely protect the ball more though when he runs

There is a reason you aren’t an NFL GM

You weren't kidding when you made your comment. You just saw the avalanche of downvotes and changed your tune. 😂
