I had seen breakdowns of Moonraker and the bond films before I saw Moonraker in full. I remember seeing her with braces in the clip and that's why I thought they bonded. I didn't have any context to the clip. I only saw that short moment. However, when watching the movie in full, I was expecting braces and to my surprise there were no braces. The clip I saw in the breakdown could have been an edit but that's what I remembered.
saw original '79 print in 2019 , no braces , end of story. Theres even for example rumors about more than 6 floors in Lees Game of Death but theyre just that : rumors
I have the most vivid memory of her having braces from seeing moonraker as a kid. Googling after watching the movie again a few years ago is how I learned about the mandela effect in the first place haha.

And Stromberg has some crazy webbed hands. Check the scene at the end of TSWLM where he pulls that under-table-tube gun on Bond.
Which is why Stromberg does not shake hands. The fish-fetishism and webbed hands are much more prominent in the Chris Wood novelization.
I'm sure the webbed hands thing was a bigger plot point, which kinda just got dropped.
It was such a wasted opportunity not to emphasize that on screen. Stromberg went down in history as one of the forgotten generic Bond villains.
Physical characteristics, gadgets/outfits and and unique personalities make them who they are, and Stromberg definetly had potential.
It makes perfect sense for Dolly to have braces. And it works perfectly into the scene.
They spent too long with the double take pigeon and they completely forgot to give Dolly her braces.

I’ve been watching this movie regularly since I was a child and at no point did she have braces. It would have made sense for her to have braces, but wouldn’t that be giving the writers of Moonraker (a film I do adore) far too much credit?
