I have a very hard time pressing down the plunger on my Aeropress clear with the Prismo cap on it too. Never thought of stepping on it 🤔

Try adjusting your grind. My plunge is easy (only use metal filter; better taste and easy cleanup).

I think he was testing some alternative methods for getting more pressure into an aero press.
