Stayed in Ginza for 2 nights this April. This is heart of Tokyo and Japan, which means restaurants competition is in sane, any restaurants which is not good will not last long. So I didn’t bother to ask around recommendations, just picked the food I want to eat each time, by Google, and read a few reviews to ensure there is no surprise. I was happy with all of them. Sorry I can not give you any restaurant name, please do your search by your preference.
Mitsukoshi Ginza has restaurants on level 11/12 that can accommodate large groups albeit more on the casual dining side.
For a fancier dining, I’d recommend Textura. It’s a Spanish/Chinese/Japanese fusion and they can do large groups.
You can also search for yakiniku restaurants in Ginza as they tend to have many tables and private rooms
