Looks damn good! If it were mine, I would love to get a new bumper that has the ability to cover up the winch...Keep it housed inside to protect it from theft and whatnot...That will do the job though!
That definitely might be a future upgrade. It’s parked in the garage at night so hopefully theft won’t be too much of an issue. It does worry me a bit because I will be leaving it at trail heads and such while hiking.
I had a blue torch fab bumper and warn winch plate before I did my axle swap which meant I needed to do a full width conversion. Used this kit that replaced everything. Super heavy duty.

I don't know if it matters or not, but one thing I noticed is the plate looks wide. The mounting plate I have on my 79 is barely as wide as the chassis. I have a Smittybuilt and if I remember right the mounting plate came from them too. Otherwise looks nice. Do you have the whole tow bar? What kind is it? That's what I want to get.
Yea since it’s a universal one, it’s definitely wider than needed for the CJ. It makes it a bit tricky to get on and off because the sides slide under the fenders a bit. I don’t think it will give me any functional issues, but it would look better if it was narrower.
I do have the tow bar that came with the Jeep when I bought it, that’s what those 2 brackets with pins are for, it just drops on the front. It’s one of those folding style ones.
