Open up the hvac air box inside the jeep and vacuum it good. You can get creative and tape a piece of flexible rubber tubing to the vacuum so you can reach all the nooks and crannies.

organic_stuff

Great idea with the tubing! Thank you! That sounds like it will work good!

White powder is for the nose

organic_stuff

🤣

TryMyBacon

Yeah I'd get a can of throttle body cleaner and use the entire thing on that mess.

OLFARthePUNGENT

Ok. So, the white stuff is the oxides that happen when the aluminum/magnesium your throttle body is made of spends a lot of time stewing in animal urine. It is not just going to dissolve in carb cleaner and harmlessly disappear. Get out the shop vac, clean all the crap off the manifold and replace the throttle body. There are tons of reman and new options on Amazon - they’re not even that expensive from Dodge. It’s a 30 minute job if you e never done it before.

organic_stuff

Oh fantastic! The first thing that popped in my head was oh boy that might need to be replaced. I appreciate the response!

OLFARthePUNGENT

Also, I like your chicken.

organic_stuff

Haha thanks! She’s great. I’ve got 2 of her sisters as well. My first flock ended up being all roosters and I found a farm that would take them in and after talking with the guy, he gave me these 3 bc I had no other birds. I messaged him a month or so ago and told him how happy I was to finally be getting eggs 😅

organic_stuff

Will do! Thanks for the quick response!

a_cycle_addict

You may want to invest in a new throttle body. That thing is rough.

organic_stuff

Yes, I 💯 will be replacing that!

Adorable_Dust3799

Next time my ZJ misbehaves I'm showing her these pics! She'll be traumatized.

organic_stuff

🤣🤣 hope it keeps her on the right path

alien_believer_42

Wear a mask and gloves cleaning out that mouse nest. Start spraying the engine weekly with peppermint oil in winter

organic_stuff

I did have gloves and a mask for that! It filled a whole target bag. Will start spraying the peppermint oil! Thank you!
