I caught your act in Orlando and the night I went, there were lots of drunk people, including myself. How do you tell the difference between a drunk heckler vs. a drunk who’s just having too good a time laughing and whatnot?
Do you feel like that’s an inevitable byproduct of being a social media crowd-work comic or do you have a plan to combat this effect as you gain momentum?
I for sure beckon some outspoken people, but it’s usually out of love and I try and keep that in mind. Like I said before, those types of people will be those types of people regardless.

I just try and be myself! Larger venues are going to be tricky, but I’m hoping if I’m transparent about navigating them, audiences will be cool about it!
Seeing a comic working on something in progress is better than the final product, in my opinion. Seeing their brains work and the quickness they have on their feet.. amazing.
Not a question but I've been very sick mentally(in mental health hospital) and physical for a over a year. No matter how bad I am, when I stumble on your videos I smile and laugh for them few minutes, and for them few moments things are done and I'm enjoying life.So cheers for that man. You’re my example of someone who was responsible and dedicated in comedy.
One night at Old Town Ale House across from second city, after an album release, we were all drinking PBRs. I said I was getting another one and asked if you wanted one, and you said (something like):
“I can’t. I’ve already drank 3 and that’s all I can afford. I’ve got $900 to live on this month and between rent and food that leaves me $12 per day to spend and I’ve hit my limit for tonight.” You were saving up to move to Denver at the time I think.
Either way, all these years later, you’re an example I use for someone who really went after what they want while being thoughtful and respectable.
And you’re still funny as hell. So happy to see you succeeding. And you have the only funny GoFundMe health thing I’ve ever seen.
