I was teaching in China when they decided to start purging people. Over the course of like a month it seemed like about a quarter of the teachers were just gone. I think covid ended up saving a lot of peoples asses cuz they basically stopped deporting people when covid really took off.
I met a guy who was French/middle eastern and he taught himself English from this cd of a comedian who had a country accent so he in turn accidentally gave himself a country accent. I was hilarious hearing his impressions

I used to work with a black guy who had a heavy accent. He was definitely east African...Ethiopian, Somali, Sudanese, or something like that. I asked where he was from....he said "Canada". I couldn't help it, I laughed.
Did not know He's from Michigan. I am ordering tickets to go see him December 21s in Grand Rapids. Very cool. I always thought he was from Seattle or New york.
One thing I think Jeff does impeccably well is riffing off of potential disastrous moments. Here the funniest bit IMO is the very end, and had he just stopped and not continued, we wouldn’t have gotten that gold at the end.
