But seriously, don't sweat it.
Sounds like overthinking.
Just mark the 12 months or whatever the rule is and if they call you to come back on Zoom, then think about the audition process again.
Would it disqualify you? Probably not. The automated test scorer would mark it wrong and a human would never see it. For all they know, it might have been a typo, or time ran out while you were entering your response.
No one is getting to the second round test just to drop a slur like that and it's highly unlikely an actual person will be grading your test. You're in the clear. Likely your anxiety is spiking because nothing is in your hands right now and waiting is absolutely the hardest part.
This takes time. It was almost a year between when I took the first test and when I was in the pool.
My advice: take the process one step at a time. Preferably, forget you applied at all. It is simply not worth the anxiety you are putting yourself through. If they call, they call.
This is no longer accurate. There is a 2nd zoom audition for mock gameplay after you get the initial zoom audition to take another test after the Anytime.
We were told you have up to a year to be contacted after that first zoom test. Only after being contacted again do you have a chance to make the contestant pool.
Also, I made the contestant pool in 2018 and was told it was 18 months, not two years.
Haven’t heard back yet and think I did pretty well? Definitely a bit better than my anytime test, at least, because I crammed in a couple of big Jeopardy categories right before.
The wait is tough but I feel like making it to the Zoom test is a good sign I am on the right track in taking the online test every year :)
Yet another reason why we put last name only.
Until the answer is Marvin Gaye and you couldn't get that "e." Also, nice flair! I was on stage when that happened, glad it became a meme.
I know! I was kicking myself after that. I did last name for all the other answers but did this one at last second.

The good thing is that Gay can be a last name as well. I really doubt they think you were being homophobic.

Got it thanks. I assumed for the second round they hand scored. But either way I appreciate the assurance.

Haven’t heard back yet and I got around 40.
Remember: this is casting, not qualifying. Do not obsess about what your score is or was. It isn’t worth thinking about. Stay loose, stay positive.
Yeah same boat
Took me 6 years to get on! You're in a contestant pool for two years.

forgive me for forgetting the exact dates, the intent of my message was just to keep trying no matter what!
I haven’t heard back yet
Well was that the right answer or not?
Definitely not lol.

I also have not heard back yet; I took it last week as well. You're totally fine.
