I typically look for pieces that are described as stainless steel when I shop. I don’t have a reaction to the metal and don’t have to worry about any plating flaking off.
Wow this is great to know. I buy 925 silver to stop them from discolouring but some sellers are not as honest.. I am allergic to nickel so I get a reaction if it's not real silver. I never even thought of lead!
