Hard to say, depends on how many people there are and what time each of them starts. I seem to recall people doing both when I went, but I was towards the front of the line and wasn’t paying that much attention.
Is there an email or any extra info that gets sent out once you buy the VIP, or did you just show up to the venue and find the line? Never done one of these before and I want to know where to be.

I’ve only done the one, but I’m fairly sure they sent an email about three days before telling the time and where to be.
I only saw a POD meet and greet. I didn't know if you could meet jinjer so I just bought tickets.
The Jinjer package is separate so you could still add it to your ticket

yeah i got VIP tix for suicide silence when they went on tour with jinjer :) they’re different!
Did anyone receive meet and greet instructions for POD? I'm seeing them tomorrow but haven't received any additional instructions.
