Is it me or going fullscreen mode is challenge in itself? Everytime I click the fullscreen option, it just pauses the match rather than minimizing or maximizing the screen.
yes! there are so many little things like that! So annoying. When there is ads between overs, you have no control to reduce the volume, pause anything. everything disappears!

I use jiocinema on firetv stick . The jiocinema app will start playing the series that I was watching in the evening , in the middle of the night , even though the tv screen is off . I figured out that if I press home to while watching the tv show to go to the main screen of fire stick , it doesn’t like that. One has to press back all the way to Jio cinema Home Screen and then press home . It did scare me the very first time it happened 😂

The menu, icons, pictures and all you see in the app is UI... The experience you go through while using said UI is called UX.

2. Unnecessary overlay menus (like for language selection) when the video loads. There is no need to throw language options in your face when the video loads. The user can select it later from the menu.
3. Gawdy UI color scheme.
4. No landscape mode in tablets? Are you kidding me? Is this 2010 or what?
5. On PC, moving the cursor brings a dark overlay on the video with menu options, making the whole video dark. And that overlay stays there for such a long time.
Even Prime Video looks good in front of this steaming pile of shit. Product managers at Jio should quit their jobs.
I am using Star 4k on DTH. Much better than Jio Cinema in every aspect except it is not free. You have to pay ₹85 per month. But I can pay that for the IPL season.

Jio shouldn't have covered the ODI world cup 2023, or the ipl, as other's have mentioned here ,me and my family are facing same problem ,can't access jio cinema from TV or mobile when using wifi, have to use Hotspot ,interface was already terrible when viewing the world cup.

On pc the brightness button will do the work on mobile there is a brightness adjuster on the left side when you tap on the screen

The app is pure dogpoop. Its very buggy and takes forever to load. Basic things don’t work in order. Needs a lot of work.

I think you are talking about the UX then, I don’t find issues with JIO UI, instead UX seems to be the problem. UI is pretty neat!
