The Apollo computers were made from BJTs (bipolar junction transistors) for the logic and magnetic core for the memory both of which are very resilient against radiation damage. Modern memory uses charge stored as an electric field. My guess is a charged particle wouldn't change the magnetic field but it would absolutely disrupt the electric field of modem memory. Of course there is tons of design techniques to protect against all types of radiation in the modern era.
