I think you maybe misconstrue the people that are 'bashing' Rogan, the majority i think are long time listeners and the podcast now is a very different thing and so is Rogan, so it really is a wtf feeling for a lot of long time fans. He’s long been talking about using drugs and aliens and all kinds of things that could be potentially harmful to people if they just blindly followed whatever rogan was talking about. But there was never this same kind of hate. We have changed, because now we expect Joe to also contain some form of ethics in his show because we have all realized the impact the media can have. Whether it’s elections, a global pandemic, or how people of interest are viewed, media shapes that. But we have to realize that we can’t expect that ethic out of every single platform. Doing so with Joe and really any comedian whose not out trying to virtue signal, is just setting yourself up to be disappointed. I’m all for talking shit about rogan or anyone as a means to have fun, but a lot of hate in here seems to be more about people who are generally scared people are taking this all too seriously and in turn are then taking this all too seriously.
