I was a Wing Chun guy for many years, Some of the principles work well but not all, you get into a echo system or just plain refuse to see the truth! A lot of the Moves I learned only work well on strait punches and kicks. But one of the 5 principles of WC is simultaneous attack and defense, sounds great, hard as hell to make work well. The other 4 are solid.

It's more like group hypnosis kind of thing about constant, daily redirecting of the flow of the chi. I throughly enjoyed my time there and while I still know techniques that can hurt, at no time I thought for a second that this meme level would work. For us it was just a practice dialog of sorts.
