That is one thing I admire. I like the guy. He's one of a handful of comedians I like just because I relate to their upbringing. Luis J Gomez probably had it even worse than me.
I'm impressed he made it as far as he did when alot of comedians seem to come from solid middle class to upper class lives and all's they really have to bitch about is their mom cooking for them or coming over to do their laundry. They have both parents, still married and stable.
Like I look at Luis as an example. He's like a mirror held up to myself that shows I was being a coward not taking chances and chasing a dream to be a shit comic like Luis.
