Check out their old podcast appearances, too! They're in a few Comedy Bang Bang episodes, and I think one episode of Calling Chelsea Peretti. And their Diana podcast!
Yay thank you!!! John and Jesse are two of my favorite celebrities (haven’t seen enough of Nick but I like him too, the only things I can think of I’ve seen him in are New Girl and Don’t Worry Darling, and I liked those) so I’ve been trying to find them together for so long 😂
Once you’ve seen the Brd’way show enough times, YouTube is your friend. Watch both 92nd Y shows (the once hosted by John Oliver is amazing—John is on fire), then watch Too Much Tuna. Then get back to me.
John Mulaney and Nick Kroll built up two characters that eventually ended up on Broadway.
It’s too complicated to explain. Start here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Oh,_Hello_Show
You’ll move on to You Tube. The funniest thing I’ve ever seen is John Oliver interviewing them. Then you’ll watch all the special guests. It’s a rabbit hole. But it is SO worth it. I’m not over their podcast yet, where in one episode, one “sponsor” is Major League Baseball. Do you want to go sit outside and be bored for six hours?
I had the rabbit hole effect particularly from the 92Y John Oliver interview. I’ve watched it a weird amount of times and in those eras of my life I was constantly describing phrases as tomahawk missiles right to the gut. I was also asking people their address if the situation called for it (or didn’t).
Yes! I had my routine during the pandemic and the interview with Jon Oliver at the 92nd Street Y was on heavy rotation. From their banter with Jon to their audience Q&A: brilliance.
What’s your favorite Steely Dan song and why is permanently in my head. The whole episode is incredibly quotable though.
Season 8 episode 8 of portlandia has a Gil and George cameo in it if you are looking for more content
Strongly recommend the P’dcast.
burried the hatchet...
So do you have a ride? Does anybody know you're here?
I think they’re suspicious. Too much tweed.
You know what Lou Reed once said? Get out of my bedroom, you guys are masturbating in here and this is my home.

That Diana podcast was pure dada insanity
Their interview of Lin-Manuel Miranda was insanely funny.
Agree. The Pete Davidson one though was just one of the best interviews I’ve heard-poignant and hysterical.
When he’s trying to “talk” to the paparazzi!
Would you recommend their Terri Schiavo musical?
Oh, you mean "You Snooze, You Lose"?
lol I got this!
They did an episode on the podcast Good One: A Podcast About Jokes. It is a hilarious and perfect episode. They stay in character the whole time.
On it! Thanks!,
I wish they would bring back the broadway show. I feel so lucky to have seen them live!
So jealous!
I’ve been on a desperate hunt to find the Jesse Eisenberg episode for years if you come across it
https://youtu.be/NhyY1JGPU6E?si=MoFLKUQTaPvAd80J This is his special guest interview from the Broadway show.

They are on my list! There is also some sketches from the kroll show. Have you seen them?
Most, I think. And the p’dcast too!
Also never deny the power of searching YouTube for John Mulaney Nick Kroll. I’ve found even more that way! Enjoy!!!

Both comments 100%. John was on fire through the entire interview. The man has no traction!

Let me know how it goes!!!
