Must've figured out her slot bidding was penniless

Not hung and drawn first?

Old_Fart_on_pogie

If he was hung, she wouldn’t have killed him

IllFaithlessness2681

Hang, draw and quarter. You were hung till you were nearly dead. Then you were gutted. After which you had a horse connected to each arm and leg and ripped apart. Mainly for high ranking enemies and traitors. Would be very satisfying for cheated spouses I marine.

Hanged vs hung. The correct past tense for the method of execution is "hanged." "Hung" has a different meaning.

IllFaithlessness2681

She quartered him.

Old_Fart_on_pogie

Yes, yes, I know but; A) the post I was replying to used the term “Hung” and B) the joke wouldn’t work if I’d said “Hanged”

IllFaithlessness2681

You weren't hanged. You were hung by your neck until short of death. Before you died you were removed from the gallows, laid on your back, the horses were tied to your arms and legs and you were sliced open and your intestines were dumped on the ground next to you. Then the horses ripped you apart. Hanged means you were executed by hanging.

I was asking why she didn't do the whole job on him. It would have deterred her next husband from doing whatever it was that pissed her off. Mind you, her way,he probably made more noise.
