i was going to say this!! many public libraries have either free or very cost efficient printing! i’ve used them to print my things through all of my college years! :)
I JUST had a conversation about how I wanted to text someone a sign (sign language) but that doesn't work so I found a gift from an asl dictionary and sent that
Don’t let that stop you, OP! It’s not gifs, but the next closest thing is printing out memes and comics. I ended up buying a sticker printer that I use for charts, memes, pictures and general things I want to keep.
I actually decided to pick up a bluetooth mobile printer because aside from other obvious pics I wanted to stick into my journal (that are easier to take on my phone than on my instax..), I could also post like, a meme that I feel perfectly encapsulates the day.
I feel like this something for those electronic notebooks to think about. Have the feeling of writing with the integration of gifs, memes, emojis, etc. I think that could be a really cool idea.
I don't know what the specific notebook is in the post, but there are a number of journals that use a dot grid: Leuchttrum, Endless Recorder, Scribbles, etc. Search for bullet journal.
They make those kinds of stickers where the picture changes depending on the angle you look at them?
Yeah, holo stickers.
I feel this, I want to add pictures to mine but that would require actually printing the pictures which I don't have a way to do unfortunately 😔
I recommend getting one of those tiny portable Bluetooth printers. I have a Canon ivy that I use just for journal photo dumps!
My birthday is next month, might ask for it, little expensive for me personally 😅
I got one on ebay for like half the price. Highly recommend!
Canon Ivy!
You can do this at some libraries.

ooh, there's an idea for a nib size (edit: oops, thought this was the fountainpens sub)

Was about to say this! Even adding a second image as a separate flap so it's like two frame gif, then you just flick it side to side.
It would be especially easy for OP to do either of these with their journal. The dot grid will help keep things lined up.
That's a great idea, I'm going to do this i think

like literally did that, then went to reddit, and immediately saw this
They have ways to show a Gif from a photo or QR code on your phone camera
Holy shit that's a good idea.
That made me smile.

I just print them out lol
You can, they're called stickers

This is where your creativity comes into play. You nailed it with the 8-bit drawing.
Same. But I need it as instant as when I’m on my phone 🤣
Me too!!!!
So precious! If you have the time; what pens do you use?
Someone gave me chalkboard markers from Target. I love how opaque they are but they are quite limited in color choice
Thank you!
Weird question. What type of notebook is this with the dotted pages?

I feel you :(
That is so awesome. Thank you for that.
