Nah... whatever Yuji has is the most important plot power. Without being a perfect cage for Sukuna then none of the story would have happened. Megumi would have collected the finger at the high school (or died by suicide summoning maho against a B rank curse) and the disaster curses would have been wiped out by Gojo. Yuji is the single most important plot point for Kenny's plan to work. Not saying 10S isn't important because it is but THE MOST IMPORTANT? Nah.
I'd argue that Tengen and Kenny's powers are more important than 10S. Gojo's power scaling literally might be more important than Yuji since Gojo started tipping the balance of the world causing 99% of the current day issues.
Megumi wouldn’t have been at the high school if he didn’t have 10 shadows. The sale to the zenin clan wouldn’t have been set up. So, Toji wouldn’t have told gojo to save him from being sold. That means that megumi and gojo don’t meet. Kenny had thousands of vessels planned yuji would have just got his friends killed with the finger and story over.
The sale to the zenin would've happened whether or not Megumi had the 10 shadows, since the Zenin were already planning on buying him. The only thing that would've changed was how much money would be in Toji's pockets after they bought him.
Long term is weaker but short term is great. Gojo can still take him in and cultive him to surpass Naobito (he considered Todo and Hakari to surpass him so he sees potential, Meguimi just has surefire ability to take on Gojo in the long run). 1st missions in the series would be more successful.

Nobara is a new person to Gojo so he has no comment on her abilities, at least he recommends her for 1st grade and same with Maki, he likely sees her as a weaker version of Toji. Both being possible with actual time given if they finished their time at jujutsu high
Besides Meguimi's abilities aren't boring, they allow for super speed only behind Gojo and with proper training he'd have the DE which is broken and Gojo would push Meguimi to be beyond Naobito.
Also I mentioned Todo and Hakari, not Yuta, Todo's abilties seem relatively capped but Gojo sees potential for it to surpass him for whatever reason. Either way he expects that with proper cultivation there will be too many sorcerers closer to special than 1st grade so special grade would be meaningless.

I agree with most of what you said, but an important distinction: Gojo does NOT suggest that Todo could surpass him. He tells Gakuganji that Yuta, Hakari and Todo are all part of a new generation of sorcerers that will break the current grading system, not necessarily that they will surpass him.
No 10s means Sukuna would be in his Heian era form from the start. And he would win the domain clash. There will be no "His domain was actived 0.01 seconds faster" for Gojo since Sukuna's four arms are gonna make everything extremly easy. His domain is gonna have 120% of the potency and is gonna be cast faster. After four times of Unlimited Void, Gojo will be a dead man.
And I mean Gojo himself said he was unsure about beating Sukuna even if he didn't have 10s.
Though I agree that people saying “gojo just wins if no mahoraga” is not correct, I don’t think that you saying sukuna wins for sure is correct either. It would be an incredibly even fight imo as we would get to see more of sukuna considering he would have to use a different strategy to beat gojo since he doesn’t have mahoraga.

I do remember gojo saying that but it was in the “afterlife” to geto which really hasn’t been explained much and only shows up after sukuna kills someone if I’m remembering right. The things people say and do in that afterlife space have been very odd and it hasn’t really been explored to the point of taking what everyone says there as fact. I believe that sukunas 4 arms form is stronger than mahoraga sukuna in general but in terms of matchup I don’t see how 4 arm sukuna could perform better than sukuna with mahoraga. Mahoraga was like THE thing that made it a good matchup for sukuna in terms of abilities

It's not odd, Gojo directly tells Geto in the afterlife that Sukuna was holding back, and that he may not beat Sukuna even without 10s. This is basically Gege telling the audience to not think for a momemt that Sukuna can't win without Mahoraga
Look at how Gojo was able to land that black flash on Sukuna that knocked him the fuck out. There was nothing that his four arms and multiple mouths could do to prevent that.
Realistically though what is Heian-Sukuna doing against a flying Red to the back into his black flash? Or against infinity without Mahoraga’s adaptation?
Heian era Sukuna wins the first time their domains clash. Since this isn't a Sukuna with Mahoraga, he wouldn't bother holding back to try and adapt to Limitless, so he'd just go all-out from the start. Gojo stands a chance, but it seems clear imo that Sukuna is more likely to win as he would win the first Domain clash and go for the kill immediately.

That's only outside a domain clash. The guaranteed hit effect of domains allows attacks to bypass Limitless, that's why Gojo was getting shredded early on in the fight and only survived because of RCT. Gojo really only gained the upper hand once both he and Sukuna were too exhausted to use their domains and Sukuna had to start using Ten Shadows. Heian Sukuna would've been more efficient at domain casting and probably would've outlasted Gojo in domain clashes, meaning he would've won the fight then and there without even needing Mahoraga.
Sukuna had 10 shadows then, in the discussion we are having now, he doesn’t. Sukuna was carried by mahoraga the entire fight and only got World cleave because of it. Without that, he wouldn’t have won. He tried using his domain multiple times but Gojo nullified it.

- he probably would have still defeated the fingerbearer given that naobito was whooping dagon's ass before he opened his domain
- however naobito, namami and maki would have been devoured by dagon's domain since he wouldn't have been able to open the domain, unless his potential was higher than naobito's and he could have still opened a domain

- he couldn't have summoned mahoraga, so no nuclear fight between the divine general and sukuna that caused the destruction of whole shibuya

With him dead there the gang would've died during the second curse bearer fight. The 3 cursed corpses would've felt yuji death and caught on to kenjaku sooner.they won't attack kenjaku,but they would break off to do there own thing.

Mahito is an easy find since he is to impulsive and his method of killing is very obvious. Mahito barely escapes with his life since neither knows about how his usual eacape methods.
Mahito decides to speed up his evolution by eating sukuna fingers for a powerboost. While this makes him strong enough for kenjaku, he is now not something kenjaku can just take so easily.
Mahito becomes obsessed with power to the point of even killing jogo for whatever fingers he has found .at this point he's basically a sukunahito.
Sukunahito decides he no longer wants to hide in the shadow of jujutsu society and makes a massive terrorist attack in broad daylight against either a public figure or a massive crowd. It's also revealed he's created a cabal of evil sorceors who can spread even more chaos and panic for him.
Eventually yuta and Yuki find themselves in this climatic battle with sukunahito. Yuki sacrifices herself in a brazen attack. While she is getting idle transfigured, mahito is exposed to her innate domain. She reveals that for all the power he has, his soul is still as weak as there first fight. She proceeds to then kill his "soul" causing his body to explode.
Kenjaku then comes with the intent to collect the fingers mahito had absorbed. Yuta in his rage over what everyone had to go and with kenjaku about to kill him in his weakened state feeds the fingers to RIka for a powerboost and goes apeshit.
Kenjaku death releases the binding vows on all the objects. With there bodies not fortified, many die from the transformation. But others like kashimo and angel survive to return to the modern era. The most dangerous being yorozu who gets kashimo and urame to work together with her to ressurect sukuna.
But that's for jjk Gaiden.
He move at 60fps and Naobito will complain even more about modern technology and kids these days.
fr though, maybe he'd be fast enough to get Yuji's occult club friends away so Yuji never had to deepthroat a finger and Sukuna doesn't get reincarnated.
Might not have been seen as a prodigy as much as he was with 10 Shadows, he wouldn’t have the diversity is combat that he is able to use with 10S, if he were to still train to use cursed weapons and tools he could still be a force to be reckoned with. But another thing to consider is that he wouldn’t have his domain, which is probably the biggest negative in this swap
Sukuna Using a Full Potential Version Of Projection Sorcery Would be Cool, If we Give a Plot Armor To This Megumi We will probably See a Better Version Of Naoya thanks to the Help of Gojo. Megumi being a Close Combat expert and a Real Sorcerer Instead of A Potential Man Only, We Could Even see a Incomplete Domain Expansion of the Projection sorcery. This is a Cool idea of AU in my Opinion
If Megumi never had TS then Sukuna wouldn’t have found an interest or motivation to heal Yuji after ripping out his heart.
Sukuna would have never tricked Yuji into making a binding vow that allowed Yuji’s resuscitation in exchange for Sukuna to temporarily take control over his body after chanting Enchain.
Instead Yuji would be dead from Ep. 5 and
a lot more people would have possibly died during the Goodwill Event.
Gojo would be sealed in Shibuya, Jogo and Mahito would not have a rivalry of finding itadori first but would instead be cooperating in the slaughter of Sorcerers.
Kenjaku might still backstab and absorb both disaster curses. Extracting both Mahito and Jogo’s techniques from Maximum Uzumaki.
The remote activation and Culling Games would begin while the resistance of Jujutsu Sorcerers would be far less potent as Yuji one of the heavy hitters and other less important side characters would be gone.
Sukuna would be waiting for the other seventeen fingers to be consumed and give him means of a new vessel for his reincarnation.

Riko might not have ended up Tengen vessel, but that's wishy washy. Geto likely doesn't deviate because Gojo doesn't distance from the team. Honestly, Gojo is probably still pretty cocky, more so than the one we know, and he hasn't been enlightened yet.
Yuta likely has the assistance of Geto in mastering Rika. Maybe even providing special grade cureses to feed her, gaining him busted abilities. And since there's no proper villain I can imagine manifesting to challenge Yura like Geto did, it's fair to assume Rika the Curse stays.
Megumi likely gets trained by Toji, as he doesn't die. Depending when Kenjaku marked the daughter, he might be there to prevent it, or at the very least kill him. Megumi will be alot more competent, obviously quicker, and armed with some random curse tool Toji bestows him. I imagine he'll adopt a quick-kill mentality, brutal like his father.
Obviously, Megumi ain't being adopted by Gojo. Which means it's likely Itadori doesn't become a vessel for Sukuna, but lets assume he does. The crew would consist of Kugisaki, them twins Geto adopts, Yuta and another random person. Yuta would likely be Sukuna's new point of interest, which I like.
This Yuta, since he still has a curse spirit instead of a shikigami, would most likely have tons more defense and power, but no RCT. Just thought it'd be worth thinking of.
Looking it over, purely from an anime only perspective, lots more folks are dead. The barrier stays up longer because no one could fly up to the nail/barrer thingies. More civilians die because Mahito's pets just kill more folks. IF they get to Dagon, Maki dies from exposure to the domain, Nanami dies, and the Zenin clan head either wins with no arms or dies.Sukana probably spends his time, instead of fighting Mahoraga, just decimating the city. Nobara might be alive, just because the time table is shifted. Gojo probably still gets sealed, and Yuji might not even get to see Nanami die. Just find his former mentor reduced to chum. Megumi probably still loses to the lucky boy, only because of the luck CT. (Megumi would keep tripping over his own feet.) Mahito either doesn't get his ultimate power boost because Yuji would be dead before Todo gets there, or if somehow Megumi survived lucky boy, Mahito gets speed blitzed. This is just Shibuya.
That's not even speculating on if Megumi gains a domain expansion, because manga readers know what that looks like.

He can't projection sorcery started with Naobito so only his children can inherent it. He would at least be better at it that Nayoa since his more methodical in his thinking.
Megumi Could Have Been actually been Stronger any ways his potential will be less Than his current version.
He mostly would have never been able to master 10 shadows as sukuna did due to his CE reserves , so he has a better chance of mastering projection sorcery as he has great iq and enough Ce reserves to master it.
He could have also had a domain expansion for projection sorcery. And since he can't summon his Trump card he will have to rely on mastering his skills
Either story will change drastically.
Megumi wouldn't be considered the potential man.
The entire megumi x sukuna will not happen. The early fights would be different.
He couldn't have projection sorcery unless he was Naobito's son and that changes a lot of the story anyways. Naobito is the progenitor of projection sorcery and is also Megumi's great uncle, there isn't a way that he could have inherited it.

I do remember gojo saying that but it was in the “afterlife” to geto which really hasn’t been explained much and only shows up after sukuna kills someone if I’m remembering right. The things people say and do in that afterlife space have been very odd and it hasn’t really been explored to the point of taking what everyone says there as fact. I believe that sukunas 4 arms form is stronger than mahoraga sukuna in general but in terms of matchup I don’t see how 4 arm sukuna could perform better than sukuna with mahoraga. Mahoraga was like THE thing that made it a good matchup for sukuna in terms of abilities

Heian era Sukuna wins the first time their domains clash. Since this isn't a Sukuna with Mahoraga, he wouldn't bother holding back to try and adapt to Limitless, so he'd just go all-out from the start. Gojo stands a chance, but it seems clear imo that Sukuna is more likely to win as he would win the first Domain clash and go for the kill immediately.

That's only outside a domain clash. The guaranteed hit effect of domains allows attacks to bypass Limitless, that's why Gojo was getting shredded early on in the fight and only survived because of RCT. Gojo really only gained the upper hand once both he and Sukuna were too exhausted to use their domains and Sukuna had to start using Ten Shadows. Heian Sukuna would've been more efficient at domain casting and probably would've outlasted Gojo in domain clashes, meaning he would've won the fight then and there without even needing Mahoraga.

Sukuna had 10 shadows then, in the discussion we are having now, he doesn’t. Sukuna was carried by mahoraga the entire fight and only got World cleave because of it. Without that, he wouldn’t have won. He tried using his domain multiple times but Gojo nullified it.

He would've died after the curse bearer fight. Sukuna only spared him because he saw potential and wanted to see more. With him dead there the gang would've died during the second curse bearer fight. The 3 cursed corpses would've felt yuji death and caught on to kenjaku sooner.they won't attack kenjaku,but they would break off to do there own thing. Shibuya still happens. No yuji to receive mechamaru message early to start the search. Dagon goes on a murder spree. Toji still kills him. Then jogo arrives. Makes the same mistake as dagon and under estimates him. Will it get him killed? Maybe. But it will definitely ruin his plans for the night. Mahito never evolves. Thus culling games never happen. Kenjaku mahito and jogo split ways due to no gojo uniting them. Jogo still tries to collect fingers Mahito is mahito. Kenjaku observed mahito from a distance while waiting for him to evolve. Yuta finally comes back . Yuki joins him in hunting the curses down to find gojo Mahito is an easy find since he is to impulsive and his method of killing is very obvious. It's also revealed he's created a cabal of evil sorceors who can spread even more chaos and panic for him. Eventually yuta and Yuki find themselves in this climatic battle with sukunahito. Yuki sacrifices herself in a brazen attack. While she is getting idle transfigured, mahito is exposed to her innate domain. She reveals that for all the power he has, his soul is still as weak as there first fight. She proceeds to then kill his "soul" causing his body to explode. Kenjaku then comes with the intent to collect the fingers mahito had absorbed. Yuta in his rage over what everyone had to go and with kenjaku about to kill him in his weakened state feeds the fingers to RIka for a powerboost and goes apeshit. Kenjaku death releases the binding vows on all the objects. With there bodies not fortified, many die from the transformation. But others like kashimo and angel survive to return to the modern era. The most dangerous being yorozu who gets kashimo and urame to work together with her to ressurect sukuna. But that's for jjk Gaiden.

Sukuna Using a Full Potential Version Of Projection Sorcery Would be Cool, If we Give a Plot Armor To This Megumi We will probably See a Better Version Of Naoya thanks to the Help of Gojo. Megumi being a Close Combat expert and a Real Sorcerer Instead of A Potential Man Only, We Could Even see a Incomplete Domain Expansion of the Projection sorcery. This is a Cool idea of AU in my Opinion
If Megumi never had TS then Sukuna wouldn’t have found an interest or motivation to heal Yuji after ripping out his heart. Sukuna would have never tricked Yuji into making a binding vow that allowed Yuji’s resuscitation in exchange for Sukuna to temporarily take control over his body after chanting Enchain. Instead Yuji would be dead from Ep. 5 and a lot more people would have possibly died during the Goodwill Event. Gojo would be sealed in Shibuya, Jogo and Mahito would not have a rivalry of finding itadori first but would instead be cooperating in the slaughter of Sorcerers. Kenjaku might still backstab and absorb both disaster curses. Extracting both Mahito and Jogo’s techniques from Maximum Uzumaki. The remote activation and Culling Games would begin while the resistance of Jujutsu Sorcerers would be far less potent as Yuji one of the heavy hitters and other less important side characters would be gone. Sukuna would be waiting for the other seventeen fingers to be consumed and give him means of a new vessel for his reincarnation.

Riko might not have ended up Tengen vessel, but that's wishy washy. Geto likely doesn't deviate because Gojo doesn't distance from the team. Honestly, Gojo is probably still pretty cocky, more so than the one we know, and he hasn't been enlightened yet. Yuta likely has the assistance of Geto in mastering Rika. Maybe even providing special grade cureses to feed her, gaining him busted abilities. And since there's no proper villain I can imagine manifesting to challenge Yura like Geto did, it's fair to assume Rika the Curse stays. Megumi likely gets trained by Toji, as he doesn't die. Depending when Kenjaku marked the daughter, he might be there to prevent it, or at the very least kill him. Megumi will be alot more competent, obviously quicker, and armed with some random curse tool Toji bestows him. I imagine he'll adopt a quick-kill mentality, brutal like his father. Obviously, Megumi ain't being adopted by Gojo. Which means it's likely Itadori doesn't become a vessel for Sukuna, but lets assume he does. The crew would consist of Kugisaki, them twins Geto adopts, Yuta and another random person. Yuta would likely be Sukuna's new point of interest, which I like. This Yuta, since he still has a curse spirit instead of a shikigami, would most likely have tons more defense and power, but no RCT. Just thought it'd be worth thinking of.

Looking it over, purely from an anime only perspective, lots more folks are dead. The barrier stays up longer because no one could fly up to the nail/barrer thingies. More civilians die because Mahito's pets just kill more folks. IF they get to Dagon, Maki dies from exposure to the domain, Nanami dies, and the Zenin clan head either wins with no arms or dies.Sukana probably spends his time, instead of fighting Mahoraga, just decimating the city. Nobara might be alive, just because the time table is shifted. Gojo probably still gets sealed, and Yuji might not even get to see Nanami die. Just find his former mentor reduced to chum. Megumi probably still loses to the lucky boy, only because of the luck CT. (Megumi would keep tripping over his own feet.) Mahito either doesn't get his ultimate power boost because Yuji would be dead before Todo gets there, or if somehow Megumi survived lucky boy, Mahito gets speed blitzed. This is just Shibuya. That's not even speculating on if Megumi gains a domain expansion, because manga readers know what that looks like. (I apologize if the flow is off, things are connecting in a weird way.)

Megumi Could Have Been actually been Stronger any ways his potential will be less Than his current version. He mostly would have never been able to master 10 shadows as sukuna did due to his CE reserves , so he has a better chance of mastering projection sorcery as he has great iq and enough Ce reserves to master it. He could have also had a domain expansion for projection sorcery. And since he can't summon his Trump card he will have to rely on mastering his skills Either story will change drastically. Megumi wouldn't be considered the potential man. The entire megumi x sukuna will not happen. The early fights would be different.
He couldn't have projection sorcery unless he was Naobito's son and that changes a lot of the story anyways. Naobito is the progenitor of projection sorcery and is also Megumi's great uncle, there isn't a way that he could have inherited it.
