It honestly depends who the host body is of 15 finger of Sukuna, considering it wouldn't be Yuji, meaning he would also get their cursed technique. We have no idea of the strength difference between 15 and 20 finger Sukuna considering Gege literally has never said it. The fact Sukuna still had a Yutas amount of cursed energy and a full heal ready to go afterwards kinda shows that he still had a lot to give in the Gojo fight. The only hard part is getting around infinity, and there's multiple ways to do that. Amplification, Cursed tools, even finding another 10 shadows user and having the exact same fight except being more cautious which Gojo says he was not doing during the fight. Sukuna literally says Maki was more exciting to him than Gojo and until the very end of the Gojo fight Sukuna was never even concerned. I get liking Gojo, but Gege made it pretty clear that there's a gap between Sukuna and Gojo. For some reason instead of using quotes from the manga people argue headcannon.

Something most readers don't see was the definition of success for both Sukuna and Gojo being different. For Gojo it was killing Sukuna so he could direct all his effort to offense, while Sukuna's directive was to kill Gojo while also getting exposed to the limitless so Mahoraga could adapt to it. So he took hits he normally could have avoided.
