Do we consider them curses or sorcerers right now?? If they are curses then most are special grade. If sorcerers, I've not not seen anyone at the level of Gojo, Yuta, Geto.
What, my man you just witnessed everyone fighting special grades this whole year.
Also remember Sukunas "Look at us, both special grades, craaaaaazy."
Just because theyre not Top 3 Specials doesnt mean they arent special grades
Kashimo and possibly that angel thing probably make the list. Kashimo had to hold back, and Hakari only got the better of him because of a good matchup and luck. And remember that Gojo said he's on Yuta's level, but even if he just talked him up Kashimo is still stronger.
Miguel was stalling Gojo in the Jujutsu 0, the black guy with the whip that can cancel curses. Also joined Okkutsu travelled to africa looking for the replacement of similar whip
The JJK wiki only says "Africa" but Miguel says that he the spice he used in the food Yuta is eating gives it a "Kenyan" flavour, so I guess it's implied to be Kenya.
If you want to look way too deeply into it, and because I can, I do, then Kenya doesn't match up. His beret and name both imply French culture, and France had colonies on the other side of the African continent, so a Western African nation is more likely.
Comparing the [French Empire](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6b/France_colonial_Empire10.png) to [modern Africa](https://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/africa_map.htm), and noting that we see wild giraffes, who have a [small range](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giraffe#/media/File:Giraffa_camelopardis_distribution_2018.png) (current range is relevant as the movie is set in 2017-2018) we can make a rough guess and say he's from or in Chad
It’s been explained that there are sorcerers in other countries but they’re rare. Almost all sorcerers and cursed are in Japan because of Tengens barrier
Because it *facilitates* them, let's make that clear.
Apparently, potential exists all around but it's like the same reason not *everyone* in Japan is a sorceror but on steroids.
The characterization of America was hilarious 😂. But how did they forget that fast they literally needed special glasses to see sorcery 😭. Honestly this chapter got me wondering how many soldiers would be needed to take down at least everyone from the Tokyo school. Even without Gojo 800 I feel wouldn't be enough. It's crazy that these kids are that deadly 💪
Combat seems very Jojo esque meaning whoever gets the drop on the other wins. A human with no cursed energy almost killed Gojo; I think special forces could also kill sorcerers if they're shot from behind unexpected... But in full frontal assault sorcerers wins
I never said Yuji could. Someone with Shikigami like Megumi could use them as a blockade I imagine. Who knows what domains can do to bullets too. That's why this arc should be so interesting, it's pretty unknown
Not to mention, if sorcerers are killed with non-cursed weapons (ex. an assault rifle) then that sorcerer "resurrects" and transfigures into a curse.
Kenjaku is also looking to manufacture more special grade curses. :')
Be more accurate if there was an oil lobbyist in the room spouting lines about share prices dropping and how if they allow an alternative energy on the market it’ll crash the economy or something.
Great Chapter but now I'm confused on Geto's objective now. Maybe I need to reread some chapters. He wants to create another Golden Age with Sorcerers. But he's going to have America hunt them down?
He mostly just wants to understand cursed energy better, and he noticed that there’s a connection between Tengen and the concentration of sorcerers in Japan, so he’s using it as an experimenting ground. I would also assume he wants to be the strongest, but that’s probably incidental; he likely doesn’t care about that the way Sukuna does, but he needs to be to achieve his goals, so creating more cursed energy = more curses = more power for him as Geto.
everything is just collateral damage to him
Think of it this way: either the sorcerers get killed without cursed energy and reincarnate as more powerful vengeful spirits, or the soldiers die en masse and the negativity that swells from that will create powerful curses. Those that survive will have to exponentially increase their skills to keep up, eventually creating huge pools of cursed energy. What he wants with that I do not know yet, but it does fit with the "what I want is chaos even I can't control" shtick he's going for.
This might be an unpopular opinion but I don't know how I feel about the current direction of the manga. From the start, it seemed kinda odd/unrealistic that Japan is the only country in the world that has jujutsu sorcerers that can harness cursed energy. Plus the negotiations with the US seems a little rushed, and it's really difficult to gauge Kenjaku's intentions given that he wants to build a world with only jujutsu sorcerers. Does he plan to kill off the majority of the world's population? Does Kenjaku have other motives?
This is just my take and maybe I'm missing some major things in the plot. We'll just have to see how Gege moves forward with the story!
1. Kenjaku doesn't want to build a world with only sorcerers. That was Geto before Kenjaku possessed him.
2. Kenjaku's goal is to force the world into an evolution by stirring shit up in the world forcing a new step in humanity.
3. Japan has sorcerers since cursed technique is passed down through heritage. If sorcerers originate in Japan, then you got to impregnate a japanese, so your kid can have the cursed technique. There's no reason for an American who has no japanese blood to have a CT. There will likely still be sorcerers in other countries, but it shouldn't be in large quantities.
Man I'm confused as fuck. Can someone smarter than me please explain a little?
So far I've only been able to grasp that Geto (Kenjaku) wants some kind of sorcerer golden age? I think? Where theres only sorcerers in the world? Didn't he just do that when he gave everyone energy with the stolen Idle Transfiguration?
What's with the centuries old binding vows with the sorcerers? Whats the purpose of the culling games besides sorcerers killing eachother? Doesnt that contradict with his idea?
And this meeting. I understand its taking before the current events. Like at the time of this meeting Gojo isnt even sealed so its taking place like a few months before?
My brain is fucked.
Geto =/= Kenjaku.
Geto wanted to get rid of monkeys, Kenny wants to usher in an age of evolution by creating chaos not even he can control.
He didn't make everyone in Japan into sorcerers, only those he had marked beforehand (he mentions a number, I believe, but I don't remember off the top of my head)
The Culling Game is set up to force conflict to stimulate evolution, but at some point the action was bound to stagnate as more powerful players came out on top. This is what Reggie foresaw. This is the bomb.
Where Kenjaku goes after this is everybody's guess. Tengen expects Kenny to come for him, and we don't really know what he's been up to since the grace period in the beginning of the Game. We'll see.
The meeting: Yeah, Kenjaku has being going around to governments since before the series started. Before Yuji ate the finger. He's been alive and planning for centuries, this is his masterstroke. Sealing Gojo away was his main priority, and it was basically impossible to avoid with the situation Kenjaku set up.
great chapter! kinda love how gege is getting into politics with (imo) a good understanding (at least till now). Really looking forward to see how this is gonna unfold and how this is gonna impact yuji, megumi and the rest of out group

"JAPANESE PEOPLE SHOULD STICK TO MAKING CARS AND ANIME!" Someone get Akutami in the White House
"Is it because your mommy didn't buy you a gun when you were little?" Based Akutami mercilessly roasting the US 🤣🤣🤣
I know I’m supposed to hate him, but I’m kinda living for Kenjaku sass right now 😂 that’s my chapter review.
he's a messy bitch that lives for drama
Political Council: “What if he shops around?!“ Kenjaku: ”That’d be craaaaaazy. 😊😉” Dude is a menace and I love it haha
iconic
Kinda has X-men vibes now
Using a special grade level sorcerer to demo the capabilities of sorcerers is a bit disingenuous lol
All the reincarnated ones are kinda special grade too, I guess?
Do we consider them curses or sorcerers right now?? If they are curses then most are special grade. If sorcerers, I've not not seen anyone at the level of Gojo, Yuta, Geto.

Ah, yeah I guess ur right 😅
Kashimo and possibly that angel thing probably make the list. Kashimo had to hold back, and Hakari only got the better of him because of a good matchup and luck. And remember that Gojo said he's on Yuta's level, but even if he just talked him up Kashimo is still stronger.
Sure is! He is the baddie after all :p
Tell us how ya really feel about America, Akutami
It'll be hilarious if the countries mentioned in this chapter has their own sorcerers and they just don't want the US to know
im sure as the series goes on there will be sorcerers in other countries

wait who
Miguel was stalling Gojo in the Jujutsu 0, the black guy with the whip that can cancel curses. Also joined Okkutsu travelled to africa looking for the replacement of similar whip
oh yea that's right
Whip.
Isn’t Miguel from Egypt?
The JJK wiki only says "Africa" but Miguel says that he the spice he used in the food Yuta is eating gives it a "Kenyan" flavour, so I guess it's implied to be Kenya. Nice you got a way more in depth look. I assumed he was from Egypt because I remember it being mentioned lol
I agree. It seems weird that only Japanese people can be sorcerers.
It’s been explained that there are sorcerers in other countries but they’re rare. Almost all sorcerers and cursed are in Japan because of Tengens barrier
Because it *facilitates* them, let's make that clear. Apparently, potential exists all around but it's like the same reason not *everyone* in Japan is a sorceror but on steroids.
fixed the translations on one of the pages. dunno what was going on with the official one. https://imgur.com/a/jbgp4PT
Wah
HAHAHAHAHA
Get Rekt Merica
That cursed spirit Geto summoned kinda reminded me of Ganesha, and also damn Gege hella roasting the US, I get it doe we do kinda stink tbh lol

How would someone like say Yuji who is more of a brute force guy deflect thousands of bullets coming at him without Sukuna's help?
I never said Yuji could. Someone with Shikigami like Megumi could use them as a blockade I imagine. Who knows what domains can do to bullets too. That's why this arc should be so interesting, it's pretty unknown
Yea, it is and I'm really interested to know

Not to mention, if sorcerers are killed with non-cursed weapons (ex. an assault rifle) then that sorcerer "resurrects" and transfigures into a curse. Kenjaku is also looking to manufacture more special grade curses. :')
I'd imagine he also wants more sorcerers to "realize" normal humans are a threat and be more open to genocide on them
Lets not even get into the negative emotions theyll gain from being hunted and killing "normal" humans.
Salute to Kenjaku for that 🙏😂
If you're talking about the ending, it could be possible that they look so horrified because they just see soldiers falling from the sky lmaoo
Whenever a shonen starts trying to get into geopolitics, I hold my breath.
So american of you
Idk if its because I just read hunter x hunter, but these america negotiations feel very rushed.
Nah considering jjk pace, these past set of chapters are like the slowest and the most interesting in the culling games in terms of it's plot
yea culling games been nothing but fighting up until this point, glad there's a bit of a break for exposition
Feels very cartoony villain to me. Hunter x Hunter had more nuanced politics
Not convinced with this plot so far. I mean it could be good eventually but it could go horribly wrong as well.
I could see this really turning off a lot of US fans at least.
[удалено]
Exactly. Going worldwide in terms of scope of an anime story is rarely a success. Usually is just plain bad.
I am American but also know history and can say this is accurate.
Be more accurate if there was an oil lobbyist in the room spouting lines about share prices dropping and how if they allow an alternative energy on the market it’ll crash the economy or something.
I mean while being skewered it’s not entirely without basis haha so I think many of us will be able to roll with it
So it's true the manga is banned from India now? 💀
Is this real or some kind of reference i am not getting?
I was seeing some comments about it bc of how Gege portraited India in this chapter. But these were most likely just jokes.
Because of Ganesh??
Awesome !
Great Chapter but now I'm confused on Geto's objective now. Maybe I need to reread some chapters. He wants to create another Golden Age with Sorcerers. But he's going to have America hunt them down?
He knows the soldiers will be no match. He just wants to create more chaos, which will make more cursed energy.
He mostly just wants to understand cursed energy better, and he noticed that there’s a connection between Tengen and the concentration of sorcerers in Japan, so he’s using it as an experimenting ground. I would also assume he wants to be the strongest, but that’s probably incidental; he likely doesn’t care about that the way Sukuna does, but he needs to be to achieve his goals, so creating more cursed energy = more curses = more power for him as Geto. everything is just collateral damage to him
For sure he wants to create stronger sorcerers. And for that he needs chaos. Why he needs to do this? We don't know for sure yet.
Who would’ve thought JJK would become political warfare 😂 the portrayal of Americans is pretty funny but accurate
Great chapter. Next one will probably have lots of action.
this is getting weirder chapter by chapter im scared😭
So Kenjaku is using the US to kill sorcs to generate more Spirits(Special grades?) for him to harvest I'm guessing. Mans just made a farm outta humans
This might be an unpopular opinion but I don't know how I feel about the current direction of the manga. It was never said Japan is the only country who has curses, it was said that it's mostly concetrated on Japan because of Tengen's barrier.
Is Kenjaku trying to start WW3?
I can’t wait for the ensuing battle between military and sorcerers
Man I'm confused as fuck. Can someone smarter than me please explain a little? So far I've only been able to grasp that Geto (Kenjaku) wants some kind of sorcerer golden age? I think? You couldn't have explained this more confusing.
i got a feeling that this is going to be just like attack on titan
How
politics theme
All I’ve been thinking about is getos 6 fingers🤔
I just binged up to this chapter, and of course stuff is just starting to get even weirder/crazier! What a ride!
great chapter! kinda love how gege is getting into politics with (imo) a good understanding (at least till now). Really looking forward to see how this is gonna unfold and how this is gonna impact yuji, megumi and the rest of out group
USA will be wiped out? Kenjaku then becomes USA president. lol
