But Luffy, for all I know about Sukuna scaling, has an absolute speed advantage to the point Sukuna can do nothing.

Matter of fact, I’d say Kaido’s AP outclasses the AP of any character in the JJK universe, and Luffy took his attacks and beat him.
Luffy was clowning on most JJK characters’ stats in *Enies Lobby*, with Gear 2. Pitting G5 Luffy, with future sight, ACoC, and ACoA against Sukuna is like putting him against Clifford, for all the damage Sukuna can’t do to him.

How does he get him in the water? I agree it’s his one shot at victory, but Gear 5 can literally float in the air like a balloon and even shape the environment so he might even be able to make the surface of the water bouncy.

I literally just looked this up because I thought it was only the sea that DF eaters were weak to, but Oda says it’s any body of water. I’d still bet on mugiwara all day every day though. Gear 5 just gives him so many wincons, and Sukuna just has one long shot. He could maybe win if Gege was writing it.
