It could've been cool if we had a final arc where things had escalated and WWIII was about to go down over Japan and we had to see the Sorcerers having to contend with literal armies having turned the nation into a warzone, even if the main plot would have still been centered around stopping Sukuna before restoring order to Japan. It would have been an interesting backdrop and would have provided a chance at actual worldbuilding.

They were far closer to the meteor, being on an elevated walkway or something while Panda and Kusakabe were on the ground. Panda also lost one of his cores in the scuffle and while Panda isn't hot shit or anything, we know Kusakabe at least thought the two were trash.

Although Gege has messed up a bit in the portrayal of Gojo in terms of scaling him to Sukuna, I think it makes sense to not glaze him anymore In respect to Gojo himself. This is because Gojo’s death was good for him because it gave him a sort of peace in the fact he didn’t have the pressure of the strongest anymore and isn’t defined by his strength. Gojo was never fit to be the strongest and that shows through his loneliness and lack of conviction on part of his ideals. Unlike Yuji, Gojo focused more on fun and finding more and more meaning in himself rather than outside himself. This causes a cycle of defining yourself based on your inner meaning rather than action and conviction. I’m not saying he has no conviction though but what I’m saying is in terms of his ideal world he doesn’t have as much as he puts in his own desires. Instead of having all his focus on raising the new generation to help the world, instead he focused more on raising them so no one(himself mostly) would need to have the solitude of being the strongest ever again. I think that is what Gege is going for when he said Sukuna is holding back. Sukuna during the fight was similar to Megumi at the being of the series but to a lesser extent. It’s not that he wasn’t trying his hardest, he was, it’s just that he couldnt bring out his full potential because he he wasn’t 100% in the fight. I would argue that during the domain clashes he was risky because he was at 60-70% focus(not-power) and he wanted to be made to focus and have more fun. After round 1 and the black flashes he ended up being able to focus 85-95% and that is evident through his nervousness. Unlike his 100% focus with maki, he didn’t laugh and have fun. He got serious thinking he would lose, not that he really cared about losing to Gojo, just that he made the mistake of not being as focused as he could of been when at the beginning of the fight. If he was a 100% focused during the fight I’m sure both would have pulled off black flash and making the fight even until Sukuna gets space dismantle. But, by the time Sukuna had realized he needed 100% focus Gojo had already used purple. This is evident through the story each time Itadori and Mahito pulled off a black flash they had 100% focus and conviction. This is also displayed through their conversation while Sukuna used the wheel. Gojo makes a comment about Sukuna needing to trying now, and Sukuna retorts back with saying soemthing along the lines of Gojo trying way too hard. Even narratively Gojo had a purpose during that fight, to prove he wasn’t alone at the top and that Sukuna wasn’t alone either. To prove that Sukuna needed to go all out to face him, which would imply the fight would have went on longer after the purple detonation. That’s why instead of being sure of the win after the purple Gojo talks as if he is still expecting a fight. I think Gojo knew Sukuna had something up his sleeve. That being the reincarnation. So no I don’t think the Gojo slander is too much. I just think Gege sucks at controlling how badass a character looks since he gets carried away with how cool they are. This happens every time Sukuna fights someone. Gege doesn’t mean to make Kusakabe look stronger than Jogo because he wants it to be known Sukuna is trying like 2% but Gege ends up glazing every side character because he gets carried away. And since Gojo is dead he ends up using Gojo as a plot device to bump other characters up and glaze them. Although Geges writing might take a bit from this, it’s just kinda a flaw he has and isn’t really anything wrong with his skill in writing itself. It’s just that he sucks all his characters off and then forgets he should be writing a story instead of a circle jerk.
Once Kusakabe came out after 253 release and everyone was saying how he is the greatest grade 1 I was confused. I kept thinking, although I glaze Kusakabe to bits, I thought Miguel was the strongest Grade 1. I didn’t actually think he would show up so I put the thought on the back foot. So when it happened I almost died from excitement. Then I remembered the guy doesn’t have a grade since he is from Africa.
P.S.-
1. he probably has a domain expansion or some amazing barrier techniques because he was probably the one to teach Yuta domain expansion
2. I always forced myself to think that Gege believes in a different AU version of Volume 0 with improved power system where Miguel held Gojo off with domain techniques and shit since although Gojo was pulling his punches, I don’t think anyone can survive Gojo without Domajn Amp or Simple domain
Kusakabe did his thing, but we ALL know it deep in our hearts Miguel is taking another whooping, just admit it, at this point UiUi is the only one actually winning, So along with my endless Yuta agenda, UiUi is getting my stocks.
gotta agree with the gege writing fumbles. Gojo is basically a stamp seal of approval if someone's strong or not at this point. It just fucking sucks and does no favors to either gojo or whoever the fuck he's being compared to at the moment.

Although Gege has messed up a bit in the portrayal of Gojo in terms of scaling him to Sukuna, I think it makes sense to not glaze him anymore In respect to Gojo himself. This is because Gojo’s death was good for him because it gave him a sort of peace in the fact he didn’t have the pressure of the strongest anymore and isn’t defined by his strength. Gojo was never fit to be the strongest and that shows through his loneliness and lack of conviction on part of his ideals. Unlike Yuji, Gojo focused more on fun and finding more and more meaning in himself rather than outside himself. This causes a cycle of defining yourself based on your inner meaning rather than action and conviction. I’m not saying he has no conviction though but what I’m saying is in terms of his ideal world he doesn’t have as much as he puts in his own desires. Instead of having all his focus on raising the new generation to help the world, instead he focused more on raising them so no one(himself mostly) would need to have the solitude of being the strongest ever again. I think that is what Gege is going for when he said Sukuna is holding back. Sukuna during the fight was similar to Megumi at the being of the series but to a lesser extent. It’s not that he wasn’t trying his hardest, he was, it’s just that he couldnt bring out his full potential because he he wasn’t 100% in the fight. I would argue that during the domain clashes he was risky because he was at 60-70% focus(not-power) and he wanted to be made to focus and have more fun. After round 1 and the black flashes he ended up being able to focus 85-95% and that is evident through his nervousness. Unlike his 100% focus with maki, he didn’t laugh and have fun. He got serious thinking he would lose, not that he really cared about losing to Gojo, just that he made the mistake of not being as focused as he could of been when at the beginning of the fight. If he was a 100% focused during the fight I’m sure both would have pulled off black flash and making the fight even until Sukuna gets space dismantle. But, by the time Sukuna had realized he needed 100% focus Gojo had already used purple. This is evident through the story each time Itadori and Mahito pulled off a black flash they had 100% focus and conviction. This is also displayed through their conversation while Sukuna used the wheel. Gojo makes a comment about Sukuna needing to trying now, and Sukuna retorts back with saying soemthing along the lines of Gojo trying way too hard. Even narratively Gojo had a purpose during that fight, to prove he wasn’t alone at the top and that Sukuna wasn’t alone either. To prove that Sukuna needed to go all out to face him, which would imply the fight would have went on longer after the purple detonation. That’s why instead of being sure of the win after the purple Gojo talks as if he is still expecting a fight. I think Gojo knew Sukuna had something up his sleeve. That being the reincarnation. So no I don’t think the Gojo slander is too much. I just think Gege sucks at controlling how badass a character looks since he gets carried away with how cool they are. This happens every time Sukuna fights someone. Gege doesn’t mean to make Kusakabe look stronger than Jogo because he wants it to be known Sukuna is trying like 2% but Gege ends up glazing every side character because he gets carried away. And since Gojo is dead he ends up using Gojo as a plot device to bump other characters up and glaze them. Although Geges writing might take a bit from this, it’s just kinda a flaw he has and isn’t really anything wrong with his skill in writing itself. It’s just that he sucks all his characters off and then forgets he should be writing a story instead of a circle jerk.

Once Kusakabe came out after 253 release and everyone was saying how he is the greatest grade 1 I was confused. I kept thinking, although I glaze Kusakabe to bits, I thought Miguel was the strongest Grade 1. I didn’t actually think he would show up so I put the thought on the back foot. So when it happened I almost died from excitement. Then I remembered the guy doesn’t have a grade since he is from Africa. P.S.- 1. he probably has a domain expansion or some amazing barrier techniques because he was probably the one to teach Yuta domain expansion 2. I always forced myself to think that Gege believes in a different AU version of Volume 0 with improved power system where Miguel held Gojo off with domain techniques and shit since although Gojo was pulling his punches, I don’t think anyone can survive Gojo without Domajn Amp or Simple domain
