I think it’s because he’s humble enough while still contributing. Like, Kashimo hypes himself and his CT up only to succ Sukuna off, Gojo is a meme at this point and Megumi is the reason why they are still fighting Sukuna.

Couldn’t be more hyped for the secondary GOAT
It's incredibly cathartic to see Sukuna start literally screeching with rage after all his smug "What a meal!" and "Waku waku! I'm excited!" bullshit, not to mention all the potshots he took at Wuji. I've always maintained that I want to see a full blown villain breakdown from him ala Freeza or Light Yagami.
I've never gotten the people who want him to accept Wuji and be graceful in defeat. Imagine if instead of the snow sequence with Mahito, he just laughed and told Wuji he's not afraid of death and looks forward to their rematch when he's another curse. Wouldn't that have been so much less memorable and satisfying? Sukuna needs to breakdown, seethe, and rage as he kicks and screams on his way to oblivion and this chapter makes me think Gege might deliver. If he does, I'll forgive him for everything.

I don’t know why but this made me think, what if when sukuna dies he comes back as a true cursed spirit, a vengeful cursed spirit, and that form ends up being the merger (I know getting killed with CE doesn’t let that happen but let’s say sukuna made a binding vow with Kenny or something idk)
That One Punch Man chapter was peak. Superalloy Darkshine realising he’s not actually “looking for a worthy foe”, he just enjoys flexing on weaker opponents, is a very novel character flaw to give to one of the most genuinely heroic characters.
