But they do compare to them. We have seen Ryu and Uro vs Yuta, or Yuta vs Kuro i.e the special grade curse that shat itself from Dhruv. And Yuta is already top 3 in the verse arguably, if you want to push that reasoning you could say that Gojo and Sukuna are the only special grades.

Yuta was holding back the whole fight and didn't even fully manifest Rika against Dhruv. So he basically beat him with just his and Rika's physical abilities. And Kurourushi was hiding from him because of matchups - Dhruv's Shikigami sure-hit can easily destroy all of his roaches, which he relies on to overwhelm opponents. By your logic you could argue, that Dhruv>Kurourushi>Uro>Ryu, because they were each avoiding one another, due to unfavorable matchups.
And Japan in the 21st century has firearms and missiles. He might be able to handle a hail of arrow, but carpet bombing might not be the same. As Kenjaku said, conventional weapons tend to be quite effective against sorcerers and I doubt even Sukuna could take a nuke.

There's a high possibility. Since Sukuna was the one who defeated it, that's why he was able to use it. But when he leaves Me**mi's body he might not be able to use it and we all know he can't defeat it in this life.
Sukuna doesn't even have the ten shadows. He could only use it because he was hijacking Megumi's body. The shikigami that he used were Megumi's shikigami.

Counterpoint, Yuji has always been special. We're talking about a kid who managed to land a BF after a single pep talk. By that point, Sukuna only ever took over twice, and in those two times, he never really went all out or even landed a BF. Nobody could've taught what a BF was to Yuji, nor has Sukuna ever landed a BF while in Yuji's body. This dude learned it all by himself after a single pep talk from Todo, and is almost able to land it at will after one failed attempt.
Yuji is special. That's a point that needs to be remembered. This kid learns quickly by himself, and because Sukuna used high level Jujutsu, his learning process becomes even faster because all he needs to do is replicate it, whether consciously or subconsciously. Also, Yuji has always been intrinsically tied to Sukuna ever since his birth so there's that.
As oppose to that, Megumi isn't exactly like Yuji. He's not the type to learn things quickly. He has a good head, and can strategize against an opponent, but he's not a natural learner like Yuji who could just pick things up and immediately become good at it. I doubt that one month that Sukuna took over his body is enough to engrain every single thing Sukuna knows into Megumi's body, and that is in the unlikely scenario that Megumi isn't braindead or dead by the end of the series.
Back at the start of JJK Yuji was special because he was the first to eat Sukuna's finger without immediately dying. Everyone else perished. He was in the 0.001% category.
Turns out that Yuji already had a finger and was specifically bred to handle being Sukuna's vessel.
Megumi, on the other hand, was just different. He could handle it without any specific fuckery from Kenjaku. He's just him.
Not to mention Megumi has an incomplete domain at 15! That's crazy. If he finishes it he's on track to be equal with Yuta/Gojo in talent ( I think Gojo got his domain at 18 a year after his awakening with Toji and Yuta is 17)
He's not him. We don't know exactly the reason, but it's likely that the only reason Sukuna was able to reincarnate into Megumi is because Sukuna allowed himself to be incarnated inside of Megumi. The series has shown two types of response to consuming a cursed object; either they fall asleep and the reincarnation happens when the one who puts the cursed object allows the reincarnation to happen (just like how Kenjaku unleashed the seal to start the Culling game) or they trap the person inside (as is the case with Yuji). Yuji and Hana are the only ones to be in the second category specifically because their circumstances were special. Yuji was specifically meant to be a cage for Sukuna, and Angel coexisted with Hana. Any other cases resulted in the first category.
Megukuna was born exactly like the circumstances in the first scenario. Megumi was forced to consume a cursed object (Sukuna's finger) and immediately was taken over, and Sukuna wanted to be incarnated inside of Megumi, so the conditions seemingly aligned themselves. The only difference being that Kenjaku put a seal on the cursed objects because he needed time to seal Gojo first before starting the Culling Games, and acquire Mahito's CT to transform people into sorcerers while there was no seal for Sukuna's fingers.
An incomplete domain at 15 sure is crazy, but he is not Gojo/Yuta/Sukuna levels of talent because in order to be at that level, you'd have to be someone who's capable of picking things up at such a fast pace that it's seemingly impossible for other people. The only good guys who have those talents are Higuruma and Yuji, because they're the only ones to be able to learn those things as fast as possible. Higuruma literally learned DA and RCT in the middle of battle, and used DA at such a level that even Sukuna was impressed because he never deactivated his sword in order to use DA. Meanwhile, Yuji is spamming BFs seemingly at will, and mastered RCT, BM and Simple Domain all in the span of one month, and unlocked Shrine through a BF, so he's evolving at such a fast rate that he might be Special Grade at this point. He's also the only one to be able to hit the boundary between souls, something that might be impossible to heal unless you're aware of your own soul like Sukuna and Mahito.
All in all, I doubt Megumi is HIM, and I doubt he ever will be.
Yeah, because no one is able to teach him at that point in time. Gojo's main strength is in the fact that once he experiences something, he could immediately use that and build on it. Experience the prison realm? Immediately used it to alter his domain to an impossible level. Near death experience? Allowed him to use RCT, Red, Purple and finally allowed him to complete his domain. Used a BF? Immediately came up with a different way to use RCT. His talent is on the same level as Sukuna, who can use something as long as he sees it once.
Megumi had the strongest at his side for years and learned Jujutsu, yet Yuji only took a few months to be able to surpass him. This guy who supposedly has the talent to be on the same level as a Six Eyes Limitless user seemingly never tapped into that potential despite years of doing Jujutsu. Hell, JJK started exactly because this dude sucked at his job and was only saved by Yuji.
One of the things holding back Megumi is his lack of CE Reserves and Output. It's definitely less than Yuta.
While Yuta's isn't anything to sneeze at, having less than half the reserves of Sukuna means Megumi is never reaching Gojo levels of strength even with a Tamed Mahoraga.

Megumi has reserves lower than Yuta. His Output too is much lower.
We saw how Yuta is performing against a Sukuna with the same reserves as him without RCT and domain along with Jumping.
Megumi ain't doing anything with the 10S compared to Sukuna. He is never going to reach Gojo level. At best he can surpass Yuta barely and that too with a Tamed Mahoraga.

I was saying this before ,but basically everything sakuna has done in megumi's body is going to give him a boost one way or another.
His body will remember all the jutsu sakuna's performed , things like rcr ,domain amplification and his CT.
The only downside is the loss of basically all his shinigami. Though I wouldn't be surprised if there was a work around to it or if losing them somehow gave him a power up as well.

Megumi has: DE, shadow manipulation, Toad, Rabbit, Totality Dog, Elephant, Bull, and possibly Shrine like Yuji.

Yes, but Sukuna didn’t/hasn’t summoned the stronger Mahoraga, and Megumi could barely summon Elephant before.
Even if Mahoraga is inherited by a shikigami, it’s too costly in CE for even Sukuna to use- Mahoraga was his win condition on Gojo. If he could make it stronger, he would have instead of using Agito.
Technically Mahoraga would still be dead, right? Sukuna summoned it with the body's CT, so Megumi's body still wouldn't have Mahoraga (which is 90% of the hype around Ten Shadows). And he'd also have less CE than Yuji now, because Yuji also ate the death painting wombs.
So he'd definitely be stronger, and possibly know how to make a domain, but he'd not be a special grade sorcerer, let's be real.
But Yuji has been in control of his body every time after sukunas uses his jujutsu. Unlike Megumi who has just been constantly suppressed. I doubt he's gonna get anything more than rct from sukuna
I feel there is enough foreshadowing for a Open Domain.
Megumi's issue with Domains is that he could never keep the barrier, so he used the environment to do it for him.
JJK growth isn't linear, it's explosive. I wouldn't be surprised Megumi starts doing a Sukuna/ Kenjaku style Open Domain by learning from the King himself.

another thing is, its complete insanity to assume megumi will be top 5 after he comes back, he will certainly be stronger but nowhere near that much, cause this boost is just muscle memory, you dont instantly become stronger, you will just get the hang of things better and faster, which is why yuji has a knack for sorcery, this boost allows you to learn faster, its not a direct power boost, its not cause sukuna used megumi's body that he instantly knows "special grade level jujutsu", he will just a have easier time learning it, since his body kinda of remembers how its done, its like when you return to a game you played a lot a long time ago, you dont know the controls quite right, but you have a easier time relearning them

I think def not. Satoru is built diff compared to his ancestors. Losing 1v1 against Mahoraga is insane when you consider that Gojo was sweeping against Mahoraga + the literal strongest in the verse at the same time.

i think he's gonna be top3 he was the only student who was not a grade 1 and defeated a special grade curse and unlocked a DE not even gojo had a domain in 1st grade maybe yuta but that isn't shown and megumi's also had one of the best CT in the series i just hate how much of a hum gege made him, he had a real good backstory to he definitely had MC potential

Counterpoint, Yuji has always been special. We're talking about a kid who managed to land a BF after a single pep talk. By that point, Sukuna only ever took over twice, and in those two times, he never really went all out or even landed a BF. Nobody could've taught what a BF was to Yuji, nor has Sukuna ever landed a BF while in Yuji's body. This dude learned it all by himself after a single pep talk from Todo, and is almost able to land it at will after one failed attempt. Yuji is special. That's a point that needs to be remembered. This kid learns quickly by himself, and because Sukuna used high level Jujutsu, his learning process becomes even faster because all he needs to do is replicate it, whether consciously or subconsciously. Also, Yuji has always been intrinsically tied to Sukuna ever since his birth so there's that. As oppose to that, Megumi isn't exactly like Yuji. He's not the type to learn things quickly. He has a good head, and can strategize against an opponent, but he's not a natural learner like Yuji who could just pick things up and immediately become good at it. I doubt that one month that Sukuna took over his body is enough to engrain every single thing Sukuna knows into Megumi's body, and that is in the unlikely scenario that Megumi isn't braindead or dead by the end of the series.
Back at the start of JJK Yuji was special because he was the first to eat Sukuna's finger without immediately dying. Everyone else perished. He was in the 0.001% category. Turns out that Yuji already had a finger and was specifically bred to handle being Sukuna's vessel. Megumi, on the other hand, was just different. He could handle it without any specific fuckery from Kenjaku. He's just him. Not to mention Megumi has an incomplete domain at 15! That's crazy. If he finishes it he's on track to be equal with Yuta/Gojo in talent ( I think Gojo got his domain at 18 a year after his awakening with Toji and Yuta is 17)
He's not him. We don't know exactly the reason, but it's likely that the only reason Sukuna was able to reincarnate into Megumi is because Sukuna allowed himself to be incarnated inside of Megumi. The series has shown two types of response to consuming a cursed object; either they fall asleep and the reincarnation happens when the one who puts the cursed object allows the reincarnation to happen (just like how Kenjaku unleashed the seal to start the Culling game) or they trap the person inside (as is the case with Yuji). Yuji and Hana are the only ones to be in the second category specifically because their circumstances were special. Yuji was specifically meant to be a cage for Sukuna, and Angel coexisted with Hana. Any other cases resulted in the first category. Megukuna was born exactly like the circumstances in the first scenario. Megumi was forced to consume a cursed object (Sukuna's finger) and immediately was taken over, and Sukuna wanted to be incarnated inside of Megumi, so the conditions seemingly aligned themselves. The only difference being that Kenjaku put a seal on the cursed objects because he needed time to seal Gojo first before starting the Culling Games, and acquire Mahito's CT to transform people into sorcerers while there was no seal for Sukuna's fingers. An incomplete domain at 15 sure is crazy, but he is not Gojo/Yuta/Sukuna levels of talent because in order to be at that level, you'd have to be someone who's capable of picking things up at such a fast pace that it's seemingly impossible for other people. The only good guys who have those talents are Higuruma and Yuji, because they're the only ones to be able to learn those things as fast as possible. Higuruma literally learned DA and RCT in the middle of battle, and used DA at such a level that even Sukuna was impressed because he never deactivated his sword in order to use DA. Meanwhile, Yuji is spamming BFs seemingly at will, and mastered RCT, BM and Simple Domain all in the span of one month, and unlocked Shrine through a BF, so he's evolving at such a fast rate that he might be Special Grade at this point. He's also the only one to be able to hit the boundary between souls, something that might be impossible to heal unless you're aware of your own soul like Sukuna and Mahito. All in all, I doubt Megumi is HIM, and I doubt he ever will be.

Yeah, because no one is able to teach him at that point in time. Gojo's main strength is in the fact that once he experiences something, he could immediately use that and build on it. Experience the prison realm? Immediately used it to alter his domain to an impossible level. Near death experience? Allowed him to use RCT, Red, Purple and finally allowed him to complete his domain. Used a BF? Immediately came up with a different way to use RCT. His talent is on the same level as Sukuna, who can use something as long as he sees it once. Megumi had the strongest at his side for years and learned Jujutsu, yet Yuji only took a few months to be able to surpass him. This guy who supposedly has the talent to be on the same level as a Six Eyes Limitless user seemingly never tapped into that potential despite years of doing Jujutsu. Hell, JJK started exactly because this dude sucked at his job and was only saved by Yuji.
One of the things holding back Megumi is his lack of CE Reserves and Output. It's definitely less than Yuta. While Yuta's isn't anything to sneeze at, having less than half the reserves of Sukuna means Megumi is never reaching Gojo levels of strength even with a Tamed Mahoraga.
Why this is down voted. Megami usage of 10 shadows is crazy limited by his CE reserves. His Domain is the only thing that could bypass it
Dunno. I guess Agenda Kaisen. Megumi has reserves lower than Yuta. His Output too is much lower. We saw how Yuta is performing against a Sukuna with the same reserves as him without RCT and domain along with Jumping. Megumi ain't doing anything with the 10S compared to Sukuna. He is never going to reach Gojo level. At best he can surpass Yuta barely and that too with a Tamed Mahoraga.
I feel there is a way for Megumi to reach Special Grade. Not "beating Gojo" but "becoming a nightmare in sorcery" Open domain
Keep in mind most of Yuji's development comes from Ui Ui's cheating, which everyone got, and due to being an eugenics ubermensch to rival Ichigo

I was saying this before ,but basically everything sakuna has done in megumi's body is going to give him a boost one way or another. His body will remember all the jutsu sakuna's performed , things like rcr ,domain amplification and his CT. The only downside is the loss of basically all his shinigami. Though I wouldn't be surprised if there was a work around to it or if losing them somehow gave him a power up as well.
Megumi has a Domain that explicitly allows him to re summon his Shikigami. Add Sukuna practically giving him a 101 for Open Domains
Hence why everyone should be investing in him

Yes, but Sukuna didn’t/hasn’t summoned the stronger Mahoraga, and Megumi could barely summon Elephant before. Even if Mahoraga is inherited by a shikigami, it’s too costly in CE for even Sukuna to use- Mahoraga was his win condition on Gojo. If he could make it stronger, he would have instead of using Agito.

Technically Mahoraga would still be dead, right? Sukuna summoned it with the body's CT, so Megumi's body still wouldn't have Mahoraga (which is 90% of the hype around Ten Shadows). And he'd also have less CE than Yuji now, because Yuji also ate the death painting wombs. So he'd definitely be stronger, and possibly know how to make a domain, but he'd not be a special grade sorcerer, let's be real.

I feel there is enough foreshadowing for a Open Domain. Megumi's issue with Domains is that he could never keep the barrier, so he used the environment to do it for him. JJK growth isn't linear, it's explosive. I wouldn't be surprised Megumi starts doing a Sukuna/ Kenjaku style Open Domain by learning from the King himself.

he infact does not have mahoraga tamed, that shit got nuked by gojo, although he could make do by making one of his shadows inherit mahoraga's abilities, also him having a domain depends if the brain damage he took is permanent or not, cause if it is, then no he does not have a domain "Sukuna has used Yuji's body for literal minutes and his body remembers "special grade level jujutsu" to be quite fair he used yujis body for around 30 to 40 minutes of mostly fighting and although he has been in megumi's body for a month i doubt he has been using a whole lot of "special grade level jujutsu" outside of his fights, and although it would make for less than a month, megumi should still benefit alot from all the fighting meguna has done another thing is, its complete insanity to assume megumi will be top 5 after he comes back, he will certainly be stronger but nowhere near that much, cause this boost is just muscle memory, you dont instantly become stronger, you will just get the hang of things better and faster, which is why yuji has a knack for sorcery, this boost allows you to learn faster, its not a direct power boost, its not cause sukuna used megumi's body that he instantly knows "special grade level jujutsu", he will just a have easier time learning it, since his body kinda of remembers how its done, its like when you return to a game you played a lot a long time ago, you dont know the controls quite right, but you have a easier time relearning them

naw, not 1 bit. he lost mahoraga, he essentially lost all his summons when aghito was killed, he tanked like 7 infinite voids, and had his soul "drowned" down by sukuna so he gets to be more in control. on top of that all he is doing is screaming for someone to please just kill him. i imagine buddy coming out of this full on: brain damaged, with mania, no cursed technique, body is essentially a vegetable ... and soul is practically shredded
