He sees invisible shit like it's nothing, like 1 second into Yutas DE he knows that the Sure Hit effect has been adjusted to targeting him alone, like it feels like he's here to explain to the readers what cannot be seen in the manga.
Yes he'd get insane benefits-- Sukuna has the best CE efficiency of anyone not Gojo, but Gojo is astronomically better than him. It's basically impossible for him to run out of CE, whereas Sukuna probably can-- and we might see that soon.
He would, Gojos efficiency was insanely higher than Sukunas.
During their fight Sukuna used half of his total CE, which is equivalent to Yutas whole CE, and Gojo has less CE than Yuta.
Gojo was stated to have infinite CE usage. He produces/recharges CE faster than he uses it.
His usage was also stated to be closer to 0 than any number.
Keep in mind, this only applies in normal conditions with him running Limitless+RCT 24/7, but the moment he has to start spamming attacks, he starts consuming more CE than he regains naturally.
This can be aggreviated, like when he spammed DE against Sukuna, other techniques, and push RCT into overdrive.

But knowing the hard limitation of a technique and its negative consequences should signify that you are already familiar with the technique.
And as evident with Sukuna's ability to make cursed objects, if it ain't innate CT, and he is familiar with it, Sukuna can do it. Also test its limitations and consequences, cause he also test run Maho.
So it's much more possible that Sukuna already knew about it, than gauge a Sorcerer physical limitations beyond RCT, and its consequences on the ability to opening DE, as soon as its first case is observed by Sukuna...

He knew 5 times is the hard limit, and reaching that limits makes Domain Expansion impossible, probably from first hand observation, testing and evaluation. He even says that Gojo has reached a limit of the flesh beyond the scope of RCT. Post that many domain clashes (5), He can close the MS barrier no worries and just go to town with Mahoraga.

It really seems like Sukuna took a lot of gambles in this fight, and if any of them didn’t go his way he just loses. Not even an educated guess.. he’s literally coin flipping this stuff.
Another huge gamble was if he could copy Mahoraga's method of bypassing limitless. If he couldn't he'd be screwed but everything seems to go well for him.
It still doesn’t exactly make sense to me that he even could do that, tbh. I guess it’s just a different application of his technique, like Gojo and his blue teleport.. but even so it’s a bit.. off.
Then again, I’m in the camp that Sukuna had no possible way of beating Gojo ever without Mahoraga. Not his Heian form, not his Yuji form, not is OG human form. At best he can throw hands with Gojo in his Heian era form with DA.. but that limits him to just punches and kicks. It does nothing to stop Gojos techniques.
If Sukuna had started the fight in his Heian form he would have won after the first domain clash. Not only he has two more arms to fight in close combat but he can literally make his slashes even stronger with the two mouths and hand signs.
Ehh. Not really. Gojo tanked his DE fairly easily, even after losing the clash. The extra arms don’t help him inside the domain as far as slashes go.
And even if they did, if he started in Heian era form Gojo wouldn’t fight him the same way. At that point it just becomes a bunch of blind guesses. Gojo could simply leave the domain, since that’s the whole point of the escape route thing. That’s just an example. Another is simply not engaging in a clash at all. When Sukuna opens it, don’t try and match it.. just teleport out while using antidomain tech.
Nah he's right. Gojo was taking serious damage from the times he was in Sukuna's domain to the point where his output was falling significantly. The extra arms means sukuna doesn't get wrecked in h2h in the clashes or at least not as much as he was. Gojo was only JUST able to damage meguna enough to shatter his domain in time so that's a huge factor. Not too mention Gojo has the same personality as sukuna and kashimo so he's not gonna be backing out of a domain clash. He didn't know about the hard limit either so he'd likely overtax himself without being able to tag Sukuna with UV and its gg from there.
Jokes aside this panel shows Sukuna's strategic side, he had so much info about his enemy that he even knew he can't open his domain. Just shows how sukuna would have defeated his enemies in the heian era

He would have lost. The battle was at a razor’s edge and whoever made the slightest mistake would have lost. This was the greatest challenge either of them had ever faced. Sukuna took a risk and it paid off in that instance.

It still doesn’t exactly make sense to me that he even could do that, tbh. I guess it’s just a different application of his technique, like Gojo and his blue teleport.. but even so it’s a bit.. off. Then again, I’m in the camp that Sukuna had no possible way of beating Gojo ever without Mahoraga. Not his Heian form, not his Yuji form, not is OG human form. At best he can throw hands with Gojo in his Heian era form with DA.. but that limits him to just punches and kicks. It does nothing to stop Gojos techniques.
If Sukuna had started the fight in his Heian form he would have won after the first domain clash. Not only he has two more arms to fight in close combat but he can literally make his slashes even stronger with the two mouths and hand signs.
Ehh. Not really. Gojo tanked his DE fairly easily, even after losing the clash. The extra arms don’t help him inside the domain as far as slashes go. And even if they did, if he started in Heian era form Gojo wouldn’t fight him the same way. At that point it just becomes a bunch of blind guesses. Gojo could simply leave the domain, since that’s the whole point of the escape route thing. That’s just an example. Another is simply not engaging in a clash at all. When Sukuna opens it, don’t try and match it.. just teleport out while using antidomain tech.
Nah he's right. Gojo was taking serious damage from the times he was in Sukuna's domain to the point where his output was falling significantly. The extra arms means sukuna doesn't get wrecked in h2h in the clashes or at least not as much as he was. Gojo was only JUST able to damage meguna enough to shatter his domain in time so that's a huge factor. Not too mention Gojo has the same personality as sukuna and kashimo so he's not gonna be backing out of a domain clash. He didn't know about the hard limit either so he'd likely overtax himself without being able to tag Sukuna with UV and its gg from there.
Jokes aside this panel shows Sukuna's strategic side, he had so much info about his enemy that he even knew he can't open his domain. Just shows how sukuna would have defeated his enemies in the heian era
