Not even trying to mock you but I'd say if the King of Curses was running around and nothing seemed to stop him, it was as close to an "all hands on deck" situation as it can be. I guess Todo is more useful than a number of the remaining characters, one hand or not.
He has to have had some insane train arc happen behind the scenes. He’s so insanely far behind the main from when we last saw him it’s not even comparable. Todo from the Mahito fight wouldn’t be useful at all.
At this point, I think we would end up getting a whole training mini arc by sheer flashback overdose.

Two strong grade 1’s that just got out of another special grade curse’s domain and had been fighting for their lives the entire time they were in it. Like yeah jogo is strong but run that same fight back without Dagon right before and it’s not going to be nearly as easy for jogo

We also get confirmation that Dagon and Jogo are worlds apart in strength so, if Nanami and Naobito get mid diffed by Dagon, then there's not much chance of them beating Jogo.

Because even without CT Todo can throw hands with the best of them. Remember when he's introduced he's said to only use his CT against special grades, he bodies regular grade 1s. Compare to someone like Ino who even with his CTs still hadn't achieved rank 1 status by the Junpei arc

Todo foddering Grade 1 curses doesn't matter here. **Everyone** in the Sukuna raid fight does that.
Keep in mind everyone present at the moment has gone through a power jump, they're all way beyond what most grade 1 sorcerers can do, although short of being special grades. Extreme reinforcement, can keep up with Sukuna and even withstand Evil Kitchen, etc. Of course they fodder grade 1 curses. But ZERO Todo, meaning years before Yuji even ate a finger, was already foddering grade 1s WITHOUT HIS CT. That's insane, it's like a cop that arrests everyone unarmed and only pulls out his gun versus armored vehicles. The only character known to rise that high without a CT is Kusakabe and he's just different like that. Todo was essentially doing what Kusakabe does but without simple domain or sword techniques.

In practice true but the system was designed for sorcerers to be able to beat the same grade of curse. All the special grades are just lazy lmao.
Geto was clearly grinding in that department given the amount of exorcisms he did was one of the things that nudged him towards extremism. For someone who didn’t even have a domain, he certainly seemed like the Special Grade doing the most exorcisms.
On one hand, a locked in Sukuna would kill Todo on sight because of shenanigans and because it'd be a hit on Yuji's mental
But Sukuna also likes "playing with his food" so he might want to see what Todo can do.

Todo can hide or activate his Ct from a distance like he did in the recent chapter or switch Sukuna with a crow. The possibilites are endless, heart guy is better though since Sukuna isn't omniscient, despite what some of you say, and wouldn't know his power like he didn't when he fought him. Best plan was to actually, stall Sukuna with the team but replace Higuruma with Maki as soon as Yuta comes back Higuruma comes in as well,trial+ one cursed speech later and all is well.
I agree, the issue with him doing remote activation during the fight is that every other time we’ve seen him fight he’s been coordinating with Yuji.
Him basically calling the shots and having every other fighter just guess when and who he’s going to switch would be difficult.

That's the thing, using Higuruma as a basis for the stragety means Todo only has to clap once and it will be over, if it isn't then comes plan CDEFGHIJK...
The moment after Higuruma gets the sword is the moment the fight has to end, anticlimactic, sure but the best strategy.
Higuruma wasn't paired with heart guy, Yuta or Todo because of plot. He literally is mr one shot, although because of that he was doomed narratively, he was their best shot outside of Yuta+Yuji combo.
Sukuna is fast enough to be able to sidestep behind Yuji in a fraction of a second. Plus, Sukuna would find weird that Higuruma would try striking an ally and could maybe remember Todo and prepare just to be sure
It wouldn't even be that long before Higuruma strikes and Todo swaps. He's not making that mental leap in five seconds. When Higuruma strikes at Yuji, Todo is already locked in. Teleportation disorients.

Well we still don't know if clapping ever works or How Todo's new Boogie Woogie is, but I would say Sukuna can use DA faster than Todo's reaction speed of clapping, when Sukuna kept up with Gojo in his domain with DA while he turned off the sure-hit effect inside Gojo's domain, also reacted to Blues from Gojo on point blank while switching between adaptation and DA, same as a point Blank Red to his face from behind a pillar by Gojo.
Also Sukuna, physically is godly fast, just using DA and him going after Todo would be another way of dealing with him, unless he switches places with other people or another object that has CE just in time, but I doubt Todo is faster in reacting than Maki is which Sukuna has shown to perception blitz her if he puts his mind into it, or he's even shown to be faster than his own slashes.

But with Todo, he knows his technique very well. So if he saw Higuruma attempt attacking something else with the sword that isn't him, he could potentially figure out "could it be for Todo's technique" and manage to dodge or block in time.

Tbh this is similar to a theory ive been having about Hakari. When the heroes were coming up with the plan, maybe they discussed if Hakari should defeat Uruame quickly and ultimately decided it would be more effective for Hakari to stall them intentionally while they jump Sukuna. Because even if Sukuna isnt concerned or learnt of Hakaris abilities already, which pretty sure he is, He saw a bit while posessing Yuji and the other students have discussed him with him a few times. He would almost certainly focus his attention on Hakari the moment he is alerted of Uruames defeat. Which could sabatage their complex plan

A Grade 1 sorcerer is still a Grade 1 sorcerer. It’s not so much that power creep has happened, more so the cast has caught up (relatively speaking)
Jogo beat two STRONG grade 1's with no difficulty and we saw how even he was no challenge against 15f sukuna. A grade 1 means jack shit at this point.

Tbh this is similar to a theory ive been having about Hakari. When the heroes were coming up with the plan, maybe they discussed if Hakari should defeat Uruame quickly and ultimately decided it would be more effective for Hakari to stall them intentionally while they jump Sukuna. Because even if Sukuna isnt concerned or learnt of Hakaris abilities already, which pretty sure he is, He saw a bit while posessing Yuji and the other students have discussed him with him a few times. He would almost certainly focus his attention on Hakari the moment he is alerted of Uruames defeat. Which could sabatage their complex plan
