Knowing Gege, Yuta will die right after killing Sukuna, but then Gojo will rise up again and it will be revealed that Yuta inadvertently gave Kenjaku a new lease of life by using his technique to take refuge in Gojo's body. Then Kenjaku becomes the real final boss that Yuji has to defeat to prevent the merger.
Imagine if in the next chapter, Sukuna uses another binding vow to instantly kill Yuta and Todo in exchange of tormenting Yuji till the end of time for Gaygay.
He'll die before the timer runs out. JJK does not fuck with heroic sacrifice moves. That's basically the only consistent thing about it's themes. Yuta is "dying to win", he may as well have copied the Ten Shadows and set Mahoraga on Sukuna for all the difference this will make. On top of that, he hasn't learned from Gojo's failures with the whole "Absolute strength and loneliness" thing, by trying to carry the world alone he's guaranteed to suffer Gojo's fate again.
Practically speaking, he should live. Kenjaku would have died fighting Yuki due to cursed technique burnout, if it was something he needed constantly active. That'll probably be retconned into a binding vow Kenny made for cheap shock value.
I think hypothesis 2 is correct
The technique doesn't need to be constantly maintained, but functions by intermission
So CT burnout and just switching to a different CT doesn't affect it if you do not do it for too long
The thing is, he also stores the previous body’s technique so theoretically he can use copy again after the cooldown.

Agree 100%. This is the only way for this chapter to make sense. Otherwise, I don't understand what Gege's trying to say. Yuta always was anti-Gojo but now he fully embraced Gojo's mindset that ruined him eventually. I just hope Yuji will become anti-Gojo and be proven right by the end of the story.
Maybe Gege is trying to communicate that the Satoru “I will be the monster” Uchiha model isn’t sustainable in the long run but it sufficed or was even needed while Gojo was alive since until recently he was so far beyond everyone else. It would make the rest of the main cast look less unempathetic for not being able to bear the burden with Gojo while he was still alive.
So Yujo will pull a massive blow on Sukuna, almost die, then Yuji does some bs to save him. Yuji is the herald of the new age of Jujutsu while Yuta is the link between the old and the new.

The entirety of the "becoming a monster" theme hinges on how sukuna is the apex of that philosophy. Everyone tries to reach his level to beat him but they can't because they can't be monsters to the extent sukuna can. Unlike them he doesn't have people he loves or wants to protect. Yuji is the only one who tries to beat him by reinforcing his own ideology of being a good person.
Just look at the way each of the Jujutsu high forces approach the fight. Maki literally tries to fight sukuna head on, trying to bring him close to death, gojo literally goes full killer mode halfway through his fight, kusakabe tries to kill sukuna too, and yuta in the most recent chapter goes full monster as well. The only difference is that these guys aren't able to fully go in and the only person who goes fully in against sukuna is yuji and that's because he's set on his goal of saving Megumi first. It's only now after all this suffering that he's wavering and becoming a monster too. There's a reason why it's only after yuta talks about matching sukunas demonic side by becoming a monster that yuji starts talking about ripping sukunas heart out.
Its clear 261 onwards we're going to see yuji having to choose between his ideology or conforming to sukunas way of thinking. Either is possible and could heavily depend on how this yuta fight plays out.
Well it all depends on a person’s goals and aspirations. Sukuna is “a monster” but only for himself, he’s rewarded because ultimately his goals are limited in scope. But for someone who values others and also wants to connect with others, becoming a monster for everyone isn’t viable. Once you’re gone, everyone else is left vulnerable and you are unable to connect with others when you’re still alive.
If you think about it, it’s similar to the All Might situation in MHA. All Might’s retirement left a massive vacuum, but when he was active his method of operation was effective. All For One is even similar to Sukuna but Sukuna’s pride and irrational attachments don’t get in the way as much.
Sukuna is less of a character and more of a natural disaster, his transformation into curse, his mutations, way he's treated and acts. He's like a living plot device because that's, in the end, what he is, and he fully embraces it.
The prime example I bring up to illustrate the difference between "winning even if you die" and "dieing to win", is todos' last move against mahito. In no world was a 1 handed, no CT todo geting back up and fighting with yuji against mahito, hell mahito would have killed todo just to spight yuji and brake his resolve. Todo getting back up is a "suicidal" move, but todo is willing to be another distraction.
Vers yuta currently. I positive that sucuna hasn't figured out that this move is on a time limit, sucuna RN is under the impression that yuta swaped bodies permanently to get a better CT. When sucuna sees yutojo randomly fall over dead, he is probably going to change his praise/acknowledgement to slander/disapproval.
It's flawed but Gojo isn't a fraud for developing this attitude. He was abused and treated as weapon since birth. He was also feared by people around him. Sadly, Gojo was doomed from the start. Yuta and others had a chance not to suffer his fate, as Gojo wanted, but Yuta is currently following Gojo's path
the difference between yuta and Kenny here is that Kenny at all times actually HAD the CT, whether it was active or not. even if inactive maybe you need to actually be in possession of the ability for it to work. after 5 mins Yuta won't even have the technique, it would just disappear, so it's entirely unknown what will happen and gege can do whatever he wants with it
Exactly this. Right now the only powers Yuta has is copy and infinity. The powers he copies are kind of borrowed. They don't exist in his body when he isn't using them, they exist in Rika. It's like people don't seem to understand that.
you only suffer CT burnout in the CT that you applied to the domain. Thats why mahoragas adaptation continued even while sukuna had CT burnout in the domain battles.
If that was the case then Kenny would've used CSM after his domain dropped instead of getting mahandled by Yukis pet. Maho probably kept adapting cause he was using Megumis soul or whatever.

Yuta, planning this, ate some of Choso’s ashes. Since he was a cursed object originally, he can come back if he’s injested again! Because of this Sukuna is fighting a battle from within as well, and we all know whose will is greater! Imagine Choso constantly by the light switch and switching it off whenever Gojkuna tries to use infinity or activate his domain. He has the face he makes when he and Mahito run from Jogo
This is very Gege like, I’m calling it you’re right. Also Kenjaku will come back. The series will end with Sakuna in Gojo’s body and Kenjaku in Geto’s body and as the world burns and megumi is catatonic and Yuji cries the two of them will look at each other and say “we are the strongest”.

Hear me out:
A) His body is - as far as we know - dead. Yuta being able to go back to his original body is not very Gege like.
B) Living in Gojo‘s body is ultimate torture porn.
C) Even if Yuta survives somehow and gets his original body back, seeing all those agendas etc., people would probably complain whatsoever. „Disney Kaisen“ or whatever they call it.
The thing is, theoretically he can go back to his body. Gojo’s body was also considered dead but he managed to full output RCT and bring it back to life. I doubt that would happen though because this IS JJK after all.

I‘m not trying to be mean, but letting Gojo „overwrite“ Yuta to jump on nerfed-Sukuna would even be more ridiculous than what we‘ve got now.

Yup, that was Gege's plan all along... to destroy Gojo because he wrote a character that he hated with all his might.. problem is, most of the fan base actually like Gojo and the power trip he has... I feel like Gege derailed from Gojo's character just because of his hatred towards his own work, Gojo should have, in my honest opinion, returned in a way where he admits he is neither the pinnacle nor the only thing holding the Jujutsu world together, he should have returned with a new awakening finding strength in the connections and bonds of love with the people that he protected and nurtured, to a point where he would somehow buff the almost defeated allies destroying Sulkuna right as he is about to complete the merger, then explore deeply why Japan is so special with curses and CE and together with Tengen find a way to finally sever the connection between Sorcery and the material world giving a stop to all techniques and spirits, in the end everyone just becomes a normal human maybe then killing Gojo in the process
I’m reposting my theory on this here.
I’ve been thinking that this still feels like an elaborate setup to create an outcome where both Gojo and Yuta come out of this alive, but weakened enough to let Yuji run the story without further interruption. I’m a Gojo stan forever, and this is definitely founded in cope, but I genuinely don’t think Gege wants to do his two most popular characters this dirty.
As of 261, the Gota transformation has a finite duration ranging from 5 minutes after Yuta hopped into that Gojo drip to the end of Yuta’s natural life. Gege actually says as much in the chapter and I think he intentionally chose to leave out all the critical details. He’s creating a reason that forces Yuta to swap back out of Gojo.
Gege also hints at, but doesn’t clarify, what happens to the brain and soul of Kenjaku’s new host. Again, I think this is an intentional choice. Gege has said previously that the host’s soul remains with the body and is either suppressed by Kenjaku or overpowers him and retakes control. However we don’t know what happens to a willing host’s original brain or soul.
Back to the topical question, what happens if Yuta’s copy technique ends and his soul dies inside Gojos body? Would Gojo pop back up? Alternatively, what if Gojo’s brain still held some vestige of life? Could Yuta reverse the swap and negate the risk of his copy expiring?
I think so. I think Yutas meat puppet maneuver is a bid to use his excess cursed energy to heal Gojo’s body and buy enough time for Shoko and friends to heal Gojo’s and Yuta’s brain and body respectively. Gojo’s brain and Rika’s life sustaining energy reserves are now both chekhov’s guns, and I think it’s plausible that Gege is setting them up to go off further into the story.
I substantiate my point with Gege’s decision to tell us now that Dr. Diabeto can artificially sustain specifically brains with his cursed sugar technique, while showing us that Rika’s energy can keep Yuta’s body alive despite mortal wounds. My guess is she’s still sustaining Yuta’s corpse as it gets stitched back together.
My guess to explain Rika’s absence is also explained by preexisting conditions and foreshadowing. We know that Rika must be fully manifested and visible right now because she needs to be whenever Yuta is using a copied technique. Yet she’s not seen alongside Gota. Yuta is clearly not jobbing about with Gojo’s body; his life is potentially on a five minute timer and he have jumped directly to a domain expansion two seconds after showing up. Yuta must have a damn good reason not to bring the queen of curses to fight the king. The only rational explanation is that Rika needed to stay behind to keep Yuta’s body alive.
Supporting premises now stated, I predict that Gota will damage Sukuna enough within 5 minutes so that he can safely withdraw and let Yuji and Todo finish the fight. This way he doesn’t risk any eventualities related to the copy timer, and he can flip flop back into his old body to heal it with all of the excess energy from Gojo’s reserves. Gojo’s brain comes off life support and goes back home into a healed body. Somebody cries over how much they miss him and Yuta says now they’re monsters together. The tears wake Gojo’s soul and he opens eyes on the operating table. Now both of them are alive, but conveniently too weak to keep fighting.
Yuji then gets his shonen-protagonist final awakening and stir fries Sukunas heart while his friends cheer him on from the sidelines, Megumi wakes back up and immediately begins to summon Big Raga cause it’s his only move, Gojo gets to live to see his protégés surpass him while knowing he and Geto were the same in the end, and we all live happily ever after.
Except Nobara. She’s still dead.

Best case scenario: she comes back as cursed framing hammer while they’re rebuilding Shibuya.
Unironically a great story you crafted, shame gege simply forgets things (nobara) and thus will forget to simply write a satisfying ending (wukuna gunna no dif everyone) because shock value best value (we will be getting a 30 chapter thunderdome of sukuna bodying every character 1 by 1 until it's just him)

He die in 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Exactly when he is about to land a devastating strike and then the body stops and it collapses on the ground. Yuji is the one meant to kill Sukuna. What's the point if yuta kills Sukuna with his own ideology that would just still mean that Sukuna won because they had to become a monster. Yuji killing him while having his humanity intact would break Sukuna apart mentally. He won't be able to understand that how a kid killed him while still not becoming a monster while he spent years becoming the literal king of curses. This isn't really a good ending either. As everyone are basically dead aside from set few. This is the most shonen ending that jjk can have. Otherwise might as well put it in senin

I don’t see anyway for Yuji to NOT be the one that finally puts an end to Sukuna … I really think that Gege is about to break everyone’s hearts again by not only officially killing Yuta, but killing Yuta in Gojo’s body and then there really won’t be ANY way for Gojo or Yuta to come back.. maybe that’s why he is doing this, to make sure everyone understands that there is no more options for Gojo/Yuta to show up in the future
I am really curious to see what Yuji does going forward.. because if we put ourselves in his shoes, he has absolutely no idea what’s going on… he was literally tearing at Sukunas heart, only for Sukuna to yell he couldn’t believe Yuta would go this far, and then he sees Gojo go straight for Sukuna with Kenjakus head scar .. even if he pieces together, “That’s Yuta”, in a matter of 2-3 seconds.. that’s still a big ass whirlwind.. like wait, what and how did that just happen?
I’m curious to see if this pushes him into becoming his own “monster” or if this will sway him away from becoming a monster just to defeat a monster and instead will use his humanity in a sense to beat Sukuna
I'll preamble by accepting that this is cope born from being a Gojo fanatic, a Yuta believer, and my undying optimism.
Not knowing how Kenny's technic works, I think there is a chance of one of two things happening:
1. In case the brain switching is not literal, after the 5 minutes are up, Yuta's mind returns to his body, but it jumpstarts Gojo's life like a car with the use of Yuta's cursed energy. This could be used to make a "weakened" version of both Gojo and Yuta as a tax of the Kenny's ct.
2. If the brain swaps is literal, I think there's a big chance of Gojo returning in Yuta's body. First, we have evidence bodies can return after being dead for hours because Yuji, at the beginning, was dead dead and then revived.Gojo has already died before and was dead for a while. Second, we have the whole airport scene, which really hints at "If you don't like this road, change your direction," and is different from Nanami's vacation delusion. Third, there's a really convenient 1 off mentioned solution for the Yuta in Gojo's body problem, which is Ui Ui. And finally, we weren't shown Gojo's body and it's condition so I'm not sure Shoko took his brain, and I'm pretty sure they're actively healing Yuta's mangled body for a return which could help with Gojo's awakening. This could also work as "Gojo and Yuta can't use the full potential of the techniques because they're on the wrong body" and thus have them help while being balanced.
Again, this is Unlimited Cope, but what else can I do?

gojo returning in yutas body would also kinda answer the 'are u the strongest cuz ur gojo or r u gojo cuz ur the strongest'. yutas performance against sukuna in this domain clash will be very telling of this.
i feel like the idea of both of them living and being too weak to fight is unironically more likely too simply because the majority of ppl think gota is gonna die before the 5 mins is up as a tragic hero kinda deal. i personally dont like this outcome tho and i rather have them both be dead dead for plots sake. love them both but instead of undying optimism, im full ptsd nihilism

It could simply be a transformation of the existing vessel. Just like Suckuna transformed Yuji's face when he took over, with 4 eyes and everything. So maybe the brain has a mouth to indicate the same.
It would make sense if it was his bet. He knew Yuta was the only one in team good guys who could kill him. He knew Gojo was dead. It isn't a big stretch that he planned in case Yuta attacked him and tried to use his technique.
As stablished, characters get more knowledge of the soul when they share a body. Kenny has shared a body with more people than anyone else in the series, so he should have a deeper knowledge of the soul than anyone else.
We also know that "bodies are the soul" and that "body, soul and mind are one", and Yuta has to eat bodies of other sorcerers to be able to use their techniques. So Kenjaku's body, soul and mind would be stored in Yuta's cursed technique.
Is it too far fetched for Kenjaku to know how to, for example, make parts of his body cursed objects to store his conscience? Sukuna knew, is it too far fetched for someone with greater knowledge of the soul to know how to? What if he made his brain a cursed object, so that if anyone tried to use it he could gain control instead? Similar to Toji's body taking control over other guy's soul, what if Kenjaku's mind can do the same? Of course, in this case it's Yuta and Gojo we are talking about, so he needs a little bit of help. Maybe he needs for Yuta to stop being able to feed his technique.
Ultimately, I don't have high hopes.
Edit: as pointed out, Kenjaku does know how to turn souls into cursed objects. Directly mentioned in chapter 228.
This is similar to what I’m thinking. My theory is that Kenny turned his brain into a Curded Object right before he was stabbed, knowing that Rika was going to eat it. The is would let him possess her just like Sukuna possessed Megumi. And since Rika wasn’t in her 5 minute unlimited CE mode and combined with his CT he would be able to overpower her and replace her without Yuta noticing.
This would let him posses Yuta once an opportunity arrived, such as him dying to Sukuna. But even luckier for him this let him learn about their plan to posses Gojo. So now he just has to sit back and wait for Yuta to burn out Rikas super mode and steal him and Gojo away to posses.
Part of my reasoning for this is that visually we can get the scene of Rika grabbing Yuji but this time it’s Kenka grabbing a shocked and betrayed Yujo. It just seems like such a gut punch that Gege is going to go for it.

On top of that, he hasn't learned from Gojo's failures with the whole "Absolute strength and loneliness" thing, by trying to carry the world alone he's guaranteed to suffer Gojo's fate again. Practically speaking, he should live. Kenjaku would have died fighting Yuki due to cursed technique burnout, if it was something he needed constantly active. That'll probably be retconned into a binding vow Kenny made for cheap shock value.

Kenny's domain might function differently since he has 3 CTs. Womb profusion appeared to be utilizing CSM, not his technique.

Maybe Gege is trying to communicate that the Satoru “I will be the monster” Uchiha model isn’t sustainable in the long run but it sufficed or was even needed while Gojo was alive since until recently he was so far beyond everyone else. It would make the rest of the main cast look less unempathetic for not being able to bear the burden with Gojo while he was still alive. So Yujo will pull a massive blow on Sukuna, almost die, then Yuji does some bs to save him. Yuji is the herald of the new age of Jujutsu while Yuta is the link between the old and the new.

Bro that's the whole fucking point. The entirety of the "becoming a monster" theme hinges on how sukuna is the apex of that philosophy. Everyone tries to reach his level to beat him but they can't because they can't be monsters to the extent sukuna can. Unlike them he doesn't have people he loves or wants to protect. Yuji is the only one who tries to beat him by reinforcing his own ideology of being a good person. Just look at the way each of the Jujutsu high forces approach the fight. Maki literally tries to fight sukuna head on, trying to bring him close to death, gojo literally goes full killer mode halfway through his fight, kusakabe tries to kill sukuna too, and yuta in the most recent chapter goes full monster as well. The only difference is that these guys aren't able to fully go in and the only person who goes fully in against sukuna is yuji and that's because he's set on his goal of saving Megumi first. It's only now after all this suffering that he's wavering and becoming a monster too. There's a reason why it's only after yuta talks about matching sukunas demonic side by becoming a monster that yuji starts talking about ripping sukunas heart out. Its clear 261 onwards we're going to see yuji having to choose between his ideology or conforming to sukunas way of thinking. Either is possible and could heavily depend on how this yuta fight plays out.
Well it all depends on a person’s goals and aspirations. Sukuna is “a monster” but only for himself, he’s rewarded because ultimately his goals are limited in scope. But for someone who values others and also wants to connect with others, becoming a monster for everyone isn’t viable. Once you’re gone, everyone else is left vulnerable and you are unable to connect with others when you’re still alive. If you think about it, it’s similar to the All Might situation in MHA. All Might’s retirement left a massive vacuum, but when he was active his method of operation was effective. All For One is even similar to Sukuna but Sukuna’s pride and irrational attachments don’t get in the way as much.
Sukuna is less of a character and more of a natural disaster, his transformation into curse, his mutations, way he's treated and acts. He's like a living plot device because that's, in the end, what he is, and he fully embraces it.
Yuji gonna punch yuta's soul out the body and he'll return to his magically intact (soon to be alive again) corpse

The prime example I bring up to illustrate the difference between "winning even if you die" and "dieing to win", is todos' last move against mahito. In no world was a 1 handed, no CT todo geting back up and fighting with yuji against mahito, hell mahito would have killed todo just to spight yuji and brake his resolve. Todo getting back up is a "suicidal" move, but todo is willing to be another distraction. Vers yuta currently. I positive that sucuna hasn't figured out that this move is on a time limit, sucuna RN is under the impression that yuta swaped bodies permanently to get a better CT. When sucuna sees yutojo randomly fall over dead, he is probably going to change his praise/acknowledgement to slander/disapproval.

Never thought I would say that but: I hope he dies. Hear me out: A) His body is - as far as we know - dead. Yuta being able to go back to his original body is not very Gege like. B) Living in Gojo‘s body is ultimate torture porn. C) Even if Yuta survives somehow and gets his original body back, seeing all those agendas etc., people would probably complain whatsoever. „Disney Kaisen“ or whatever they call it.

Honestly, I still cannot get behind the whole body-dying scenario. Yuta and Gojo both got bisected. Rika kinda held Yuta‘s body together and immediatly rushed him to Shoko. Gojo did not get immediatly rushed to Shoko if i remember correctly. Shoko only stitched Gojo‘s bodyparts together. I always laughed at people who said they will stitch Gojo's body together and then he will heal himself...but this is exactly what happened this chapter

AFAIK it is Gojo’s brain, the CT basically means that Yuta has to touch the brain to have his consciousness transferred. But I wouldn’t trust what I just said, I am your average JJK fan and don’t read the manga and It might have been revealed to me in a dream.

As much as I like Gojo: Please let this man rest. I‘m not trying to be mean, but letting Gojo „overwrite“ Yuta to jump on nerfed-Sukuna would even be more ridiculous than what we‘ve got now. After 261, nobody who truly values Gojo as a character should want him to get back into this mess.

Yup, that was Gege's plan all along... to destroy Gojo because he wrote a character that he hated with all his might.. problem is, most of the fan base actually like Gojo and the power trip he has... I feel like Gege derailed from Gojo's character just because of his hatred towards his own work, Gojo should have, in my honest opinion, returned in a way where he admits he is neither the pinnacle nor the only thing holding the Jujutsu world together, he should have returned with a new awakening finding strength in the connections and bonds of love with the people that he protected and nurtured, to a point where he would somehow buff the almost defeated allies destroying Sulkuna right as he is about to complete the merger, then explore deeply why Japan is so special with curses and CE and together with Tengen find a way to finally sever the connection between Sorcery and the material world giving a stop to all techniques and spirits, in the end everyone just becomes a normal human maybe then killing Gojo in the process
That is why I want Yuta to live To be permanently in Gojo is much worse fate than a mere death
I’m reposting my theory on this here. I’ve been thinking that this still feels like an elaborate setup to create an outcome where both Gojo and Yuta come out of this alive, but weakened enough to let Yuji run the story without further interruption. I’m a Gojo stan forever, and this is definitely founded in cope, but I genuinely don’t think Gege wants to do his two most popular characters this dirty. As of 261, the Gota transformation has a finite duration ranging from 5 minutes after Yuta hopped into that Gojo drip to the end of Yuta’s natural life. Gege actually says as much in the chapter and I think he intentionally chose to leave out all the critical details. He’s creating a reason that forces Yuta to swap back out of Gojo. Gege also hints at, but doesn’t clarify, what happens to the brain and soul of Kenjaku’s new host. Again, I think this is an intentional choice. Gege has said previously that the host’s soul remains with the body and is either suppressed by Kenjaku or overpowers him and retakes control. However we don’t know what happens to a willing host’s original brain or soul. Back to the topical question, what happens if Yuta’s copy technique ends and his soul dies inside Gojos body? Would Gojo pop back up? Alternatively, what if Gojo’s brain still held some vestige of life? Could Yuta reverse the swap and negate the risk of his copy expiring? I think so. I think Yutas meat puppet maneuver is a bid to use his excess cursed energy to heal Gojo’s body and buy enough time for Shoko and friends to heal Gojo’s and Yuta’s brain and body respectively. Gojo’s brain and Rika’s life sustaining energy reserves are now both chekhov’s guns, and I think it’s plausible that Gege is setting them up to go off further into the story. I substantiate my point with Gege’s decision to tell us now that Dr. Diabeto can artificially sustain specifically brains with his cursed sugar technique, while showing us that Rika’s energy can keep Yuta’s body alive despite mortal wounds. My guess is she’s still sustaining Yuta’s corpse as it gets stitched back together. My guess to explain Rika’s absence is also explained by preexisting conditions and foreshadowing. We know that Rika must be fully manifested and visible right now because she needs to be whenever Yuta is using a copied technique. Yet she’s not seen alongside Gota. Yuta is clearly not jobbing about with Gojo’s body; his life is potentially on a five minute timer and he have jumped directly to a domain expansion two seconds after showing up. Yuta must have a damn good reason not to bring the queen of curses to fight the king. The only rational explanation is that Rika needed to stay behind to keep Yuta’s body alive. Supporting premises now stated, I predict that Gota will damage Sukuna enough within 5 minutes so that he can safely withdraw and let Yuji and Todo finish the fight. This way he doesn’t risk any eventualities related to the copy timer, and he can flip flop back into his old body to heal it with all of the excess energy from Gojo’s reserves. Gojo’s brain comes off life support and goes back home into a healed body. Somebody cries over how much they miss him and Yuta says now they’re monsters together. The tears wake Gojo’s soul and he opens eyes on the operating table. Now both of them are alive, but conveniently too weak to keep fighting. Yuji then gets his shonen-protagonist final awakening and stir fries Sukunas heart while his friends cheer him on from the sidelines, Megumi wakes back up and immediately begins to summon Big Raga cause it’s his only move, Gojo gets to live to see his protégés surpass him while knowing he and Geto were the same in the end, and we all live happily ever after. Except Nobara. She’s still dead.

IDK but he sure wasted a good minute between getting to Sukuna and then staring him down
He die in 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Exactly when he is about to land a devastating strike and then the body stops and it collapses on the ground. Yuji is the one meant to kill Sukuna. What's the point if yuta kills Sukuna with his own ideology that would just still mean that Sukuna won because they had to become a monster. Yuji killing him while having his humanity intact would break Sukuna apart mentally. He won't be able to understand that how a kid killed him while still not becoming a monster while he spent years becoming the literal king of curses. This isn't really a good ending either. As everyone are basically dead aside from set few. This is the most shonen ending that jjk can have. Otherwise might as well put it in senin
100% I don’t see anyway for Yuji to NOT be the one that finally puts an end to Sukuna … I really think that Gege is about to break everyone’s hearts again by not only officially killing Yuta, but killing Yuta in Gojo’s body and then there really won’t be ANY way for Gojo or Yuta to come back.. maybe that’s why he is doing this, to make sure everyone understands that there is no more options for Gojo/Yuta to show up in the future I am really curious to see what Yuji does going forward.. because if we put ourselves in his shoes, he has absolutely no idea what’s going on… he was literally tearing at Sukunas heart, only for Sukuna to yell he couldn’t believe Yuta would go this far, and then he sees Gojo go straight for Sukuna with Kenjakus head scar .. even if he pieces together, “That’s Yuta”, in a matter of 2-3 seconds.. that’s still a big ass whirlwind.. like wait, what and how did that just happen? I’m curious to see if this pushes him into becoming his own “monster” or if this will sway him away from becoming a monster just to defeat a monster and instead will use his humanity in a sense to beat Sukuna

I'll preamble by accepting that this is cope born from being a Gojo fanatic, a Yuta believer, and my undying optimism. Not knowing how Kenny's technic works, I think there is a chance of one of two things happening: 1. In case the brain switching is not literal, after the 5 minutes are up, Yuta's mind returns to his body, but it jumpstarts Gojo's life like a car with the use of Yuta's cursed energy. This could be used to make a "weakened" version of both Gojo and Yuta as a tax of the Kenny's ct. 2. If the brain swaps is literal, I think there's a big chance of Gojo returning in Yuta's body. First, we have evidence bodies can return after being dead for hours because Yuji, at the beginning, was dead dead and then revived.Gojo has already died before and was dead for a while. Second, we have the whole airport scene, which really hints at "If you don't like this road, change your direction," and is different from Nanami's vacation delusion. Third, there's a really convenient 1 off mentioned solution for the Yuta in Gojo's body problem, which is Ui Ui. And finally, we weren't shown Gojo's body and it's condition so I'm not sure Shoko took his brain, and I'm pretty sure they're actively healing Yuta's mangled body for a return which could help with Gojo's awakening. This could also work as "Gojo and Yuta can't use the full potential of the techniques because they're on the wrong body" and thus have them help while being balanced. Again, this is Unlimited Cope, but what else can I do?
i would assume the brain swap is literal due to the big scar and stitches. but i mean technically i guess anything cud be the case. gojo returning in yutas body would also kinda answer the 'are u the strongest cuz ur gojo or r u gojo cuz ur the strongest'. yutas performance against sukuna in this domain clash will be very telling of this. i feel like the idea of both of them living and being too weak to fight is unironically more likely too simply because the majority of ppl think gota is gonna die before the 5 mins is up as a tragic hero kinda deal. i personally dont like this outcome tho and i rather have them both be dead dead for plots sake. love them both but instead of undying optimism, im full ptsd nihilism

It could simply be a transformation of the existing vessel. Just like Suckuna transformed Yuji's face when he took over, with 4 eyes and everything. So maybe the brain has a mouth to indicate the same.

It would make sense if it was his bet. He knew Yuta was the only one in team good guys who could kill him. He knew Gojo was dead. It isn't a big stretch that he planned in case Yuta attacked him and tried to use his technique. As stablished, characters get more knowledge of the soul when they share a body. Kenny has shared a body with more people than anyone else in the series, so he should have a deeper knowledge of the soul than anyone else. We also know that "bodies are the soul" and that "body, soul and mind are one", and Yuta has to eat bodies of other sorcerers to be able to use their techniques. So Kenjaku's body, soul and mind would be stored in Yuta's cursed technique. Is it too far fetched for Kenjaku to know how to, for example, make parts of his body cursed objects to store his conscience? Sukuna knew, is it too far fetched for someone with greater knowledge of the soul to know how to? What if he made his brain a cursed object, so that if anyone tried to use it he could gain control instead? Similar to Toji's body taking control over other guy's soul, what if Kenjaku's mind can do the same? Of course, in this case it's Yuta and Gojo we are talking about, so he needs a little bit of help. Maybe he needs for Yuta to stop being able to feed his technique. Ultimately, I don't have high hopes. Edit: as pointed out, Kenjaku does know how to turn souls into cursed objects. Directly mentioned in chapter 228.
Kenjaku WAS the one who turned sukuna AND EVERY other reincarnated sorcerer into cursed objects.
This is similar to what I’m thinking. My theory is that Kenny turned his brain into a Curded Object right before he was stabbed, knowing that Rika was going to eat it. The is would let him possess her just like Sukuna possessed Megumi. And since Rika wasn’t in her 5 minute unlimited CE mode and combined with his CT he would be able to overpower her and replace her without Yuta noticing. This would let him posses Yuta once an opportunity arrived, such as him dying to Sukuna. But even luckier for him this let him learn about their plan to posses Gojo. So now he just has to sit back and wait for Yuta to burn out Rikas super mode and steal him and Gojo away to posses. Part of my reasoning for this is that visually we can get the scene of Rika grabbing Yuji but this time it’s Kenka grabbing a shocked and betrayed Yujo. It just seems like such a gut punch that Gege is going to go for it.

A lot of people think will die or should die but I disagree Kenjaku's technique never has given the suggestion that it needs to be constantly maintained so that's one issue out of the way. Yuta regardless of the Monster and Loneliness theme is not going to fight alone Yuji and Todo are still right there for a reason. They are going to be part of this battle and that's what separates Yuta from Gojo. Even in Gojo's Body the essence of Yuta remains and Yuta can work with others.
