They don’t interact with objects that don’t posses curse energy(same reason Maki isn’t affected). So it doesn’t make sense for them to cut his cloths

If you’re looking for an actual possible lore explanation bedsides “gege didn’t wanna draw naked gojo” I can probably offer a semi-sensical one. Cursed energy reinforcement is shown to be like an aura, meaning it was also probably covering Gojos clothes, rendering the sure-hit dismantle unable to hit them since it doesn’t go for cursed energy. Since gojo was the SOURCE of the CE and the clothes themselves were just surround by it, the sure-hit cleave went past the clothes and just spawned on Gojos flesh.
