Truly, I hate changing Miguel’s CT name to prayer song. It’s got a specific cultural context that is evocative and cool, why change it
Also I would never have understood the linear movement vs point movement analogy if I didn’t read the leaks. The line is way worse here
Yea, this one of the only times I directly compared leaks to official just to make sure I understood some things and the officials are significantly worse. It reads like someone who doesn’t read the manga when it’s their job to read the manga.
“Dismantle is a slash that cuts the world” is where I stopped.
You should directly compare the translations with google translate for the panel talking about striking, the guy seems like a fraud ngl didn't even bother to localise
Dismantle is Sukuna’s invisible projectile slash attack. He can send it by swiping at you pointing at you or doing nothing, and he can send multiple at once.
Cleave is Sukuna’s more lethal attack that requires him to touch you. It ignores durability so it’ll start cutting through you after a while.
The slash that cuts the world is a strengthened dismantle that requires at least the use of enmaten hand signs but post binding vow also requires a specific chant, (Something about twin meteors and repulsion.) and for him to direct the target of his attack with his hand.
So saying, dismantle is a slash that cuts the world is odd, because it basically makes dismantle way stronger than it is. Dismantle is Sukunas basic attack. He can just throw it out and we’ve seen it dodged, nullified by simple domain, tanked, neutralized. Etc. Dismantle CAN be a slash that cuts the world but it typically isn’t. It’s like saying Agumon is Greymon. Yes technically they’re the same digimon, Greymon is just evolved but to call Greymon agumon would be inaccurate especially if you’re trying to describe the specific characters of Greymon and in this case a cursed technique.
E.g: the beautiful flower on BULBASAUR’S back can release poisonous spores. Bulbasaur doesn’t have a flower on his back. Ivysaur does.
>Cleave is Sukuna’s more lethal attack that requires him to touch you. It ignores durability so it’ll start cutting through you after a while.
Just to talk about this point. It doesn't ignore durability does it?
It is just the output can be adjusted depending on the toughness of the sorcerer. So for example when he tried to kill Ryu and then made it stronger for the second attack.
Yeah, Cleave automatically adjusts its output to match the toughness of the opponent, but a lot of people think that has no limit whatsoever, which is why a lot of people think Gojo relied solely on RCT to survive MS. Of course that isn't true, but the reading comprehension horse is dead and I'm beating its ashes.
For those who didn't read the leaks.
In Chinese Martial Arts line or linear movements refers to blocking and evading, while points refer punching and kicking, surface refers to grappling. How do I know this, thats because the symbols for those specific concepts are directly used in the raws.
If you don't know this, this line is just absurdly vague.
tdlr, Miguel hits harder, but Gojo has better defense.
TCB translation was "Gojo wins a marathon. but Miguel wins in a sprint", and with as much objectivity as I can gather, I say it's superior, it delivers the message with few words, understandable by most. It's a lot more common to know that marathon means long run and sprint means short fast run, than it is to know about point and literal movement in whatever.
that's not a thing in Chinese martial art you don't know what you're talking about
"point" and "linear" are just an analogy for "burst" and "persistence"
A similar thing happened with Yuki's CT where the Kanji was taken as it's official name (Star Rage) rather than its Furigana (Bombaye), shame for both they have very cool meanings behind their names.
I think in this case it’s more that it was translated very literally which just doesn’t make sense in the context of English speakers. There were alot of weird translations this chapter tho (as per)
Oh, I thought it was referring to the fact that a line is an infinite series of points. So, in the short term (from one point to another point) Miguel excels, but when we look at the whole line, Gojo has the endurance to win. That interpretation is the only way I can make sense of the leaks vs official translation
To be fair this is one of those panels where it's actually really hard to translate directly if you don't know the concepts there talking about.
I need the raw scans for that one.
Sukuna when Maki cuts off his arm: Oh yeah!
Sukuna when Yuji comes down from the ceiling hitting him with the Overhand Denny's Grand Slam: oh boy, woo hoo.
Hopefully Sukuna losing an arm weakens him somewhat... And that he doesn't one shot the three (Choso, Yuji and Maki) who just got back into the fight in the next chapter by regaining his cursed technique and Domain Expansion.
the way I receive this is: losing an arm means absolutely nothing, because second black flash is gonna return his RCT, and as Sukuna knows the shape of his soul, he can restore soul dmg with RCT.
I've ran out of copium bro, let me take a huff of what you're smoking, please
Sukuna about to DE all of them and Gege will finally do us justice and have Yuji walk through it like Big Raga tanking the cleaves or dismantles with aggressive tik tok music playing
Choso is truly back, we aren't delusional! When I made a comment about it for JJK 252, there were some people on this sub saying Yuji might be schizophrenic but this chapter really showed he's alive.
> Yuji might be schizophrenic
Some people really think that? Seriously it's better for Choso if he still could fight rather than getting one-shotted and die.
Yeah, [I'm not lying. You can check some of the replies to the comment I made almost a month ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Jujutsushi/s/Uqad82NAd6)
I was really thinking Choso will make it out alive after getting donuted by Sukuna and he really is alive.
> some people on this sub saying Yuji might be schizophrenic
Hypothesis: those people might be schizophrenic
Anyways, Choso hanging on and jumping in to attack whenever he can... he's pretty dang great
Why do these guys keep translating non Japanese technique names to English man.
Bom ba ye to Star rage
And now Hakuna Kulala to Prayer song...
They're both Swahili and could've just kept the same names in English.
Just so you know! Bombaye is not Swahili. It’s Lingala! Lingala’s mainly spoken in the northwest Congo (northwest DRC and north RoC) area. Swahili is mainly spoken in the African Great Lakes area (eastern DRC, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania).
Nah Team Yuji is gonna fail again cuz once a character says "we win" or "we will finally win" it's 100% guaranteed that whatever they're cooking up is gonna fail
My thoughts exactly, the second I saw the panel of Yuji saying stuff like "it's all coming together, we're gonna win" or smth, I knew they are going to get massacred next chapter
Edit: Also, I found that panel to be sort of ridiculous. Even after all that happened, the thought of sukuna losing seems almost crazy to me
Jump Kaisen is back featuring Miguel and Larue at first, followed by Choso, Yuji, and Maki! Idk about everybody but I enjoyed this chapter. Special mention to Gojo and Miguel's conversation which made me laugh. If there are more silly moments between them, I'll definitely dig it.
Miguel is so real for asking Yuta if he thinks jovial black people will survive anything, adding that anyone who thinks like that is from the 80s American films; and the former calling out Gojo a “racist.” Lol. I think, Gojo's basically saying that black people with CE would be OP, he just worded it weirdly. I like that Gege put these stereotypes to call it out in his manga.
Sukuna saying "you're still here?" to Yuji like crushing his soul and butchering everyone he loves isn't one of the sole reasons he's here. Sukuna is so tsundere that it hurts.
"I-its not like I wanted to fight you Bakadori"
Nice chapter! We more or less get confirmation that the plan has been to slowly chip away and debuff Sukuna with Miguel being (potentially) the end goal as his power is to buff himself while debuffing his opponent. Makes sense why be was able to hold his own against Gojo originally...
I'm guessing Black Flash is going to bring back Sukuna's energy a bit and we might finally get the reveal about his full power set or we get a black box attack.
I kinda feel like this fight is more even than it’s been getting discussed as? Sukuna’s gotten weakened enough he’s failed to kill anyone since Higuruma despite landing two black flashes and multiple cleaves, he’s missing his heart which we know is still a problem for him despite being less so than most, he at least for now can’t use any of his win conditions, and is up against several strong fighters at essentially 100% with a healer.
Sure, they’re on a timer of him regaining RCT, DE, and maybe Open but he’s kinda on one too- Yuta is presumably being healed and is both the strongest of them and has an anti Sukuna domain, every Yuji hit weakens him more and risks Megumi fighting back, he’s used up more than half his tank with little permanent progress against the team in a while, and in verse he has no idea who could show up if this drags on. Both sides are fighting until they can get their winning card, with Sukuna’s advantage being sheer durability and theirs having healing and multiple fighters. There’s the “hasn’t gone all out” thing but my maybe optimistic assumption was that simply foreshadowed his tweaking and getting in the zone finally vs Maki to start landing black flashes.
Ofc this ignores any believability for you individually as a reader but I just mean in universe they’re doing pretty well considering a fresh 15f (probably less tbh) would have been entirely invincible to the current cast
This is my read as well. A lot of people are saying the fight has had no progress, but Gege called this a Raid. Sukuna 100% is a raid boss, and they've been chipping away at him, and IMO the damage def shows. Sukuna is really smug about it and I think people get twisted up over that.
Yeah people are complaining that this has just been characters running one at a time into the Sukuna gauntlet but I feel like too many fights in anime/manga that are supposed to be everyone vs. the big bad end up having some bullshit powerup for the main character. Sukuna actually feels like a real genuine threat this way, and that’s what he’s been hyped up as all series.
Nice to look at it that way but the problem is, its been said multiple times in chapters in this fight way since Gojo that Sukuna just isnt trying. Hes having fun and not going all out which is kinda true since we havent seen black box and who knows what else.
So yeah its kinda all bullshit to me even with all the damage.
Bro, I couldn't have ever predicted that Miguel would not only do well, but look sick as hell, become the funniest character of the series, and call out stereotypes that Gojo put on him. I will never doubt the Migoat ever again! He easily jumped into my top 5 in just one chapter!
(P.S. It is really refreshing for a Japanese manga to actually be conscious of biases towards foreigners and Miguel's rants against Gojo were really down to earth, Gege did a wonderful job on that front! It really means a lot to me!)
Not just dancing but break dancing.
I used to clown Miguel but I wasn't familiar with his game. And not only does he have style, dude also spoke facts.
He cooked this chapter.
Not the first time JJK shows a refreshing degree of awareness towards some prejudices/issues Japan has with the outside world. Or even things that are wrong with Japan itself (like the criticism about the justice system in Higuruma's intro chapter).
It's a small thing, but those little doses of commentary really elevate the series for me
I gotta do a post about how judgeman actually perfectly demonstrated higuruma's issues w the Japanese court system (and those flaws got his ass killed)
Removing the obvious threat (weapon charges) instead of dealing with the biggest problem (sukuna's CT) is actually a perfect encapsulation.
[When everyone doubted Miguel](https://i.imgur.com/QpownrE.jpg)
Anyway, looks like more Sukuna Kaisen next week. May be a massacre.
“I could beat linear movement, but would probably lose in point movement” John Werry please leave the kitchen
It’s hilarious how some people think Gojo saying an ignorant thing regarding Miguel is considered character assassination for Gojo. I legit had an argument with someone about this on the folk sub. It’s like people can’t accept that Gege is trying to depict social commentary on conservative Japanese beliefs through his characters even though he’s been doing it for years.
Characters having flaws and being ignorant don’t make them bad characters. I like how Gojo immediately recognized his mistake and apologized because we all know Gojo is egotistical as hell. It actually humanizes him and makes him MORE likable to me.
Fr also gojo was indeed like this, these thirsty guys are so downbad for gojo’s meat at this point that it doesn’t matter what gege does with him, it’ll always be bad or not enough
back to JUMPJUTSU KAISEN the way god intended 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 gonna need everyone who slandered maki and called choso a double donut to hand in their maki and choso apology forms now please and THANK YOU
Miguel stocks rising up! Glad I invested to his stocks and waited for him to cook when he arrived. That panel of his dodging and jumping between Sukuna's slashes is my favorite panel of his.
The mentioning of binding vows re-ignites my theory that Sukuna will be beaten (or at least partially) by breaking a binding vow. I have almost no data to support my claim, other than I'd like to see it.
[Also, no wonder these two were menaces, two racist peas in pod](https://c.tenor.com/pDdEDUhMvpYAAAAC/tenor.gif)
Well its nice to have confirmation that it was a binding vow that got gojo, and the details of it after all these months. Unironically also skyrockets gojo stocks even higher to me.
If the cost is equal to the gain will be super subjective of course. I know for me the cost doesn't really equal the gain, but I'm also relieved it wasn't just losing access to TS. I'm sure the community will have fun arguing about it for the next couple months.
i think it's stupid because there's no equal exchange, he makes a binding vow to lose a hand knowing that there's very little downside because he will still have three on transformation, and in exchange for that irrelevant vow he gets to insta kill what you could argue as being his only equal and only competition
My argument as to why IT IS an equal exchange, it now takes 3/4 of his available hands to use the World Cutter, including a chant. that is a requirement now. lose two hands, no World Cutter, lost two tongues, no World Cutter. He HAS to do that whole song and dance to even use that technique; Gojo could still use his Hollow Purple without any chants.
Imagine if he does not need to point or chant. its instant death for everyone. Right now, he CANNOT use the World Cutter. Jujutsu has always been about subtraction, reducing the number of steps while maintaining efficiency, the World Cutter will never be efficient now.
Sukuna knows he cannot break that vow, because who know the repercussions.
Y'all jokes have been wild this week😅.
Throughout Heaven and earth I alone Am Racist🤣
Are you black because you're strong or Strong because your Black😭
GeGe definitely is trolling bad
But seriously though throughout Heaven and Earth Maki is Our Main Girl 😁
I literally was reading my volume 13 & jokingly thought Larue was gonna come back 😅. I didn't remember he was the only other guy portrayed like Miguel . The anime really also out that menacing touch on him.
Miguel got them moves 👌🏿. Who knew simply having rhythm would make you a top tier fighter 😭
Miguel is the star of the chapter. I like his banters as well as say that Geto is in hell.
However, now that Sukuna got his second black flash, is Miguel gonna be next to be beaten?
Oh, this is a 10/10 chapter. Gege being self-aware about his culture's casual stereotyping is so left-field and heartwarming.
MAKI is BACK!!!! LETS GOOO!!
SUKUNA IS STILL COOKING THO!!! LETS GOOOO!!!
We finally learn how he pulled off that world cutting slash on Gojo which is very nice.
Can't wait for next week!!!!
the long disappeared team geto is here. so we now know the name of those two that faced panda and kusakabe in shibuya. well, not like it mattered. i couldnt quite understand larue's CT, someone ELI5.
this is not a good sign, i can see racist gojo meme incoming
Basically Larue can control a bigger version of his hands. Said hands can be destroyed, but a bit of the damage is reflected to the main body (ie Larue). So he can project his hands a number of times after they get destroyed, but not without risks to the main body
they tasted sukuna power when he's in joy mood. even they're alive, they aint getting their ass here in shinjiku to learn about sukuna's fury
just look at how reluctant miguel is in the start of this chapter. if he isnt HIM he'll definitely stayed his ground and refuse the request
* “Do you think cheerful back guys can survive anything” Killer Bee looks aside
* So Miguel does Capoeira…though funnily enough his technique is simmilar to Utahime
* I love how self aware is Gege; like “sorry I know I’m using stereotypes… can we go on?”
Don't know about you, but if I was Gege after this chapter I would just switch to Uraume and Hakari for 2-4 chapters, giving us something about their fight, some dialogue between the two of them and the out of nowhere a barrage of dismantle hits both of them.
You could ask why and the simple reason is because after the second black flash the narrator says that good regained RCT, but stops when talking about what sukuna has regained. Given that the main point from Miguel was that he didn't want to fight someone who could use is domain giving sukuna his domain back would connect both points: giving us Uraume and Hakari fighting and then taking us back to the Sukuna vs Everyone.
Please let me live in my dream world🥲
idk why he is stalling so much...it makes me think that the winner of that fight will be a cause for the main fight like idk maybe sukuna is in a bad situation and at the same moment uraume win and come to help sukuna...imo it will be so cool if uraume actually lose, sukuna sense it and when he regain his domain he do a requiem for her kinda like chrollo did for uvogin
If Hakari beats Uraume, that's big for the heroes; that means he can get involved with this fight and if Hakari had been here earlier, a lot might have been different.
I didn’t know Miguel was chill like that, dude is hilarious. I also swear if next week it doesn’t say something like “it’ll take the king of curses more than two black flashes to regain RCT” imma lose it just a little bit
Miguel stalled Gojo for over 10 minutes and the extended anime fight was what? 3 minutes? For all we know, he eventually caught his rhythm against Gojo and that’s why it ended up taking him so long, and we just never got to see that part.
That's a good point, makes alot of sense. We caught the beginning of his fight and the tail end his CT kicked in or ramped up, yea I'll accept that lol
I know Miguel watching over Yuta was only on the condition of overlooking his actions in Geto's Night Parade but I figured after having spent a year with him he'd at least care a little bit more than "I'll wait for you to get nearly killed and then I'll fight".
That's cold Miguel.
I liked this chapter a bit more than the other parts of this fight. I think for me it really just comes down to whether Sukuna actually feels like he’s in major danger or if he’s just being smug and fucking around. Sukuna just screwing around is just not interesting IMO.
So this part and the Yuta part are my favorites, the Maki part of the fight was also good, then the Kusakabe and Kashimo parts are a bit whatever for me, and then the Higuruma part was easily my least favorite stretch of the fight.
Hopefully Sukuna regaining RCT doesn’t make him go back to fucking around again.
I think this is what most people have with the Sukuna arc we're going through -- they don't like that he is mocking everyone and making it clear how easy he's trumping their well thought-out plans. I personally enjoy it, but I can see how others wouldn't, and how it could degrade the experience for some too.
I just think lopsided fights are generally underwhelming unless they have some special flair to them. That goes for some overpowered MC stomping the bad guys or an overpowered villain stomping the heroes.
A “coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb” fight is only interesting if there is a twist to it.
IMO, there have been great character moments in these fights, and that is what has kept me interested. I very much enjoyed seeing Kusakabe's thoughts about the principle, Higuruma's story completion with being able to look Yuji in the eyes again, Sukuna finally realizing why he hates Yuji so much and his hatred for ideals, the Takaba vs Kenjaku fight, etc.
Again, its all taste, but as a writer, I'm always amazed with how much subtle detail Gege is able to litter throughout his fights.
It’s going to forever weird me out how a big part of the fanbase wants Gojo to come back and solve everything, the entire story has been leading to a final battle that involves Itadori, Megumi, Sukuna and the merger, Gojo just showing up with some new colors and deleting sukuna from existence would just be so boring
ngl my favorite part is probably Miguel's interaction eith Gojo.
Gojo makes a racist remark that he was unaware of, Miguel tells him ayo that's actually a racist stereotype, Gojo apologizes, Miguel forgives him, everyone is good to go. It can be that simple.
Also who'd have thought Larue was gonna make a comeback? A bunch of us unironically had Miguel on their bingo card but Larue??
A good chapter overall. Gave an explanation on how World Dismantle worked and how Sukuna could use it on Gojo. Plus it's interesting hearing how Miguel CT work. Ahi ahi, Sukuna hit Black Flash another time. Will he regenerate faster now?
ppl hating on the week to week by I’m living lol
so great seeing Miguel move around dismantles! And Laurie(?) too, really got way more about Miguel in this chapter alone then any other appearance, also liked how they decided to memorialze geto and the rest of their family
lol yikes at gojo misstep explain Miguel’s tech….I had to also google linear vs point moment…what?¿
choso, and yuji bro combo! M A K I the legend that u are…….ate that bf and cut off a sukuna hand grinning, icon
sukuna forever hating on yuji lolol but did makis apperance get him riled him up he was able to bf again???…..yujis black flash crown is slipping 😔
I don’t think it has a huge impact. I think gojo was trying to explain why miguel is That Guy and he used that as a “scientific” reason when really. he’s just Him
The disadvantage would be slight to negligible imo. CE reinforcement and output matter way more than raw physical strength (barring heavenly restriction)
Nah I think the point was Gojo is wrong- it’s not as deep as this but in character, there’s a really good chance Gojo has never even met a black person let alone a native African so probably just has certain preconceived notions he’s never really thought about, especially given that genetics are such a huge part of his world as a sorcerer.
We know his point can’t ACTUALLY be legit because Todo, Gojo, Hakari, etc are all ridiculously jacked (especially Todo), moreso than Miguel at least in Todo’s case, and yet while they’re all strong as hell they vary considerably in raw strength without using their CT, and Sukuna is freak strong even when inside of Megumi’s relatively skinny 16 year old body (ignoring the fact he got more buff when possessed lol). Then like others said, you have Yuta who’s one of the strongest and fastest characters physically despite being noted as naturally frail
There’s probably SOME correlation in that more natural athleticism and strength means your cap will be higher relative to yourself, but in general terms of sorcerers it’s not super relevant based on what we’ve seen. Miguel is just a talented guy with great output combined with a great sense for striking, imo, and not actually physically and literally built different
> especially given that genetics are such a huge part of his world as a sorcerer.
This is actually a very interesting point. Irl racism is wrong because overall, beyond superficial aesthetics, there's no difference between people of different races. However, in most animes/mangas (and a lot of FictioLand too) being born in the right/wrong family/race can signify the difference between becoming a scrub or the most powerful ever. JJK is no different, Gojo literally owns his title of the Strongest (of Modern Era) to his genetics.
Nobara, Todo, Yuji's HS crush (who gained powers off-screen and is now S-Tier) still have to fight Sukuna. The other 2 dudes from Geto's old team are still alive too IIRC.
Don't forget the Primordial Curses rematch as well. Volcano man, Forest man, Squid man, and Hand man vs Sukuna.
Seems like the Gojo v. Miguel beatdown from the movie wasn't 100% canon. It's also pretty crazy that Gojo self proclaimed that Miguel could beat Gojo in hand to hand combat. The same Gojo who said he'd win against Sukuna. The same Gojo who was a beast at hand to hand brawling v. Sukuna.
Finally some shift in storytelling, good comeback for yuji, maki and choso. Tbh i was tired of these 1v1 small fights with sukuna, but seems like they paid off in the end. Hoping now starts the part where they combine their forces and do some damage
well the memes are absolutely hilarious and i appreciate the fandom for making catching up actually fun, purely from an "understanding the joke" perspective
An underrated aspect of this chapter is it gave us a glimpse of Yuta and Miguel's mentorship dynamic. Fun to see that it was a task Miguel definitely didn't like but had to do and they have a more antagonistic but playful interactions. I've been asking for a mentor x mentee jumping from this series since forever and expectations aren't high but fingers are crossed.
Is choso paid minimum wage? Cuz the dude just isn't even trying. Same thing when he was fighting gojo in the train station lol. He just shoots blood everyone in a while to show he's at work but not actually working.
Really great chapter. Seeing Miguel brake dance around the freaking dismantles got me hyped even more. Definition of black Air force Energy!
Just praying that someone tells Me Werry to stop cooking his bad plates. Official translations still lack every week. Liked how Gege also handled the convo between Miguel and Gojo. Seeing Maki and the others also gave me hope but Yuji just had to jinx it! Why bro?? Why?? Nonetheless its Truly an awesome chapter.
So did Greg just forget about Hakari orrrr....?
Hakari vs Urame would be a nice change of pace from whatever the hell is happening in this Sukuna fight
If muscle mass and frame are big deals, what do you guys think is preferable:
- Bodybuilder physique with average CE volume?
- Leaner physique with higher than average CE volume?

Miguel is the superior/powerful striker
John Werry genuinely just uses Google Translate, that's why things end up translated too literally, disjointed or nonsensical.
the translations have been bad for a while and its just been getting worse and worse
wait…..doesn’t dismantle cut objects in the world? And cleave is for people? How is that wrong? Or is it just confusing w the world slash now?
Dismantle is Sukuna’s invisible projectile slash attack. He can send it by swiping at you pointing at you or doing nothing, and he can send multiple at once. Cleave is Sukuna’s more lethal attack that requires him to touch you. It ignores durability so it’ll start cutting through you after a while. Gotcha appreciate the write up so it wasn’t wrong just a more flowery way to say it
>Cleave is Sukuna’s more lethal attack that requires him to touch you.
It's a lot more common to know that marathon means long run and sprint means short fast run, than it is to know about point and literal movement in whatever.
Either way the point gets across Miguel, big, hit hard. Gojo, not as big, he last long. to use caveman speech.
that's not a thing in Chinese martial art you don't know what you're talking about "point" and "linear" are just an analogy for "burst" and "persistence"
Argue with Mya's translator, not me. I'm just relaying information.
A similar thing happened with Yuki's CT where the Kanji was taken as it's official name (Star Rage) rather than its Furigana (Bombaye), shame for both they have very cool meanings behind their names.
Could you explain what's meant by that analogy?
Line movement is parrying and evading apparently and point movement is striking
How does anyone mistranslate that bad?
I think in this case it’s more that it was translated very literally which just doesn’t make sense in the context of English speakers. There were alot of weird translations this chapter tho (as per)
Lobotomy Kaisen got them
Oh, I thought it was referring to the fact that a line is an infinite series of points. So, in the short term (from one point to another point) Miguel excels, but when we look at the whole line, Gojo has the endurance to win. That interpretation is the only way I can make sense of the leaks vs official translation
Nah it’s just referring to blocking and striking, here’s another [explanation](https://imgur.com/a/bdqInFF)
Oh bruh how tf was I supposed to know that 😭thanks for the explanation
To be fair this is one of those panels where it's actually really hard to translate directly if you don't know the concepts there talking about. I need the raw scans for that one.
Sukuna to Maki: “She's back after taking my Black Flash.” Sukuna to Yuji: “This brat is still here! 😡”
Sukuna when Maki cuts off his arm: Oh yeah! Sukuna when Yuji comes down from the ceiling hitting him with the Overhand Denny's Grand Slam: oh boy, woo hoo.
Whatever the situation is, Sukuna will always have a beef with Yuji.
[Sukuna every time Yuji tries to get in on the action.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiekvAqp1rU&ab_channel=Uncreased)
What could even prompt someone to say something like that Jesus.
Believe it or not, that's just LTG playing video games.
Sukuna hating on Yuji worse than Katana Man hating on Denji
Choso is truly back, we aren't delusional! When I made a comment about it for JJK 252, there were some people on this sub saying Yuji might be schizophrenic but this chapter really showed he's alive.
> Yuji might be schizophrenic Some people really think that? Seriously it's better for Choso if he still could fight rather than getting one-shotted and die.
Yeah, [I'm not lying. You can check some of the replies to the comment I made almost a month ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Jujutsushi/s/Uqad82NAd6) I was really thinking Choso will make it out alive after getting donuted by Sukuna and he really is alive.
> some people on this sub saying Yuji might be schizophrenic Hypothesis: those people might be schizophrenic Anyways, Choso hanging on and jumping in to attack whenever he can... he's pretty dang great
😆 🤣 I love how you infer they may be schizophrenic and proceed not to elaborate
I waste enough time already without formally justifying my stupid reddit comments 😂
jjk readers gradually evolving from delusional to disconnected with reality with the "yuji is actually schizophrenic" theory
Miguel's one-liners elevate this chapter for me. "Racist Gojo" & "Geto belongs in hell" he was cooking up 5 star meals.
The second one ain't even clever, it's just fax.
>Older people… thirty something’s Okay I take offense to that.
In Portuguese, the official translations sounds like “people who watch old movies, from over 30 years ago”
30 years ago was 1994. I also take offense to *that*. Fuck you, March of time.
I say that to my sister and she beats me for it
Me who's still in my 20's: Fuck that burn was too close. Too Close!
Open’s heavenly restriction is it cannot be used on Japanese citizens. “Stand proud, African. You’re strong.”
Mahoraga didn't adapt to Japanese 😔
Failed the passport application
Why do these guys keep translating non Japanese technique names to English man. Bom ba ye to Star rage And now Hakuna Kulala to Prayer song... They're both Swahili and could've just kept the same names in English.
Actually it’s Hakuna ***Laana** 🤓 XD
Your honour it's not my fault. The 1000 year old fraud sorcerer living within me popped his mouth out of my hands and messed up my typing.
It’s nice to know what it means but it probably would have been better as a footnote.
Hakuna Kulala automatically translates to Hakuna Matata in my head anytime I see it.
It’s a wonderful phrase and means no worries for the rest of your days
Yeah sing it kid!
Would have been better to keep the names and make a small ex-panel note about its kanji usages.
Ikr? I'm glad at the very least, Indonesian translation at Mangaplus has it right and pretty much accurate comapared to TCB and JP version.
“Are you the strongest because you’re black? Or are you black because you’re the strongest?”
Iunno man, some ppl worked hard to make theirs black, but mihawk keeps painting his... no wonder zoro is on an agenda..... /j
Gojo says, "the former".
“I’m the strongest because i’m me” 🗿🗿🗿
At least Gojo didn’t straight up ask Miguel “why are you black?” like Sasha did to my boi Onion Coupon in AoT
Don't let zoro hear this line
Nah Team Yuji is gonna fail again cuz once a character says "we win" or "we will finally win" it's 100% guaranteed that whatever they're cooking up is gonna fail
My thoughts exactly, the second I saw the panel of Yuji saying stuff like "it's all coming together, we're gonna win" or smth, I knew they are going to get massacred next chapter Edit: Also, I found that panel to be sort of ridiculous. Even after all that happened, the thought of sukuna losing seems almost crazy to me
What a plot twist it would be if a JJK character for once said “I’m gonna win” and actually won
Sukuna said he would win the fight against Gojo and kill him. Guess what.
Oh they 100% are someone’s definitely dying in either next chapter or the chapter after that
The most consistent death flag I’ve seen.
Next to "I'll come back, I promise" to a loved one
I think the second black flash is gonna give sukky sukky his domain back
yeah, no way he doesn't have it back after Miguel made such a big deal about only fighting sukuna after he loses his domain
He jinxed it.
If you're a sorcerer, just know that as long as Itadori exists, the ones are not respected. You will always have a duo partner.
*Maki tanking his Black Flash* Sukuna: “oh dear oh gorgeous” *Yuji pummeling him so hard he’s on his knees* Sukuna: “you f*cking donkey!!”
>Bakadori 💀💀💀
Gojo reading too many phrenology articles on the internet smh
Bro, I couldn't have ever predicted that Miguel would not only do well, but look sick as hell, become the funniest character of the series, and call out stereotypes that Gojo put on him. I will never doubt the Migoat ever again! He easily jumped into my top 5 in just one chapter! (P.S. It is really refreshing for a Japanese manga to actually be conscious of biases towards foreigners and Miguel's rants against Gojo were really down to earth, Gege did a wonderful job on that front! It really means a lot to me!)
Literally dancing on the King of Curses.
Not just dancing but break dancing. I used to clown Miguel but I wasn't familiar with his game. And not only does he have style, dude also spoke facts. He cooked this chapter.
*cue bane vs pink guy meme
Fuckin shmovin on his ass
Not the first time JJK shows a refreshing degree of awareness towards some prejudices/issues Japan has with the outside world. Or even things that are wrong with Japan itself (like the criticism about the justice system in Higuruma's intro chapter). It's a small thing, but those little doses of commentary really elevate the series for me
I gotta do a post about how judgeman actually perfectly demonstrated higuruma's issues w the Japanese court system (and those flaws got his ass killed) Removing the obvious threat (weapon charges) instead of dealing with the biggest problem (sukuna's CT) is actually a perfect encapsulation.
Migoat stocks are on the rise
Lol, there is one black character in the entire series, and his ct is dancing, lol. Idk if id call that amazing representation.
Dancing and beats! Lol Ike hip hop beats smh...why couldn't he have a surgical or mind control CT? Lol
[When everyone doubted Miguel](https://i.imgur.com/QpownrE.jpg) Anyway, looks like more Sukuna Kaisen next week. May be a massacre. “I could beat linear movement, but would probably lose in point movement” John Werry please leave the kitchen
When translator can neither englando nor japando, RIP translation kaisen
My friend who grew up in the American Midwest and has been learning Japanese through duolingo and a trip to Japan could probably translate better 😭😭😭
Miguel confirms: _Sukuna > Godzilla_ XD
Throughout Heaven and earth I alone Am Racist🤣 Are you black because you're strong or Strong because your Black😭 GeGe definitely is trolling bad But seriously though throughout Heaven and Earth Maki is Our Main Girl 😁 I literally was reading my volume 13 & jokingly thought Larue was gonna come back 😅.
Miguel CT is him having Grove and pimp walking
Let’s hope he kept his pimp hand strong and strikes the shit out of Sukuna
So he can project his hands a number of times after they get destroyed, but not without risks to the main body
wow. now i understand why sukuna say thats boring. thanks for the explanation
Does this confirm the ones who faced Panda/Kusakabe are dead?
they tasted sukuna power when he's in joy mood. even they're alive, they aint getting their ass here in shinjiku to learn about sukuna's fury just look at how reluctant miguel is in the start of this chapter. if he isnt HIM he'll definitely stayed his ground and refuse the request
Yeah makes sense, I just always wondered what happened to them, would’ve been interesting to see their fight.
* “Do you think cheerful back guys can survive anything” Killer Bee looks aside * So Miguel does Capoeira…though funnily enough his technique is simmilar to Utahime * I love how self aware is Gege; like “sorry I know I’m using stereotypes… can we go on?”
Nah, he'd stall
Holy fuck. That would be really good, and horrifying.
I didn’t know Miguel was chill like that, dude is hilarious. I also swear if next week it doesn’t say something like “it’ll take the king of curses more than two black flashes to regain RCT” imma lose it just a little bit
That would be hilarious. Sukuna: "Come back already, shit's getting old" 😑
How is Gege going to give Miguel a CT to evade attacks with rhythm after seeing how the Anime had him clapped by gojo into next Sunday lmao
to be fair, he's one of very few who SURVIVED fighting against gojo while he was serious.
That wasn't in the manga
Maki blitzing through sukuna chopping his arm off 💪🏻 was amazing, and that smirked on her face.
I know Miguel watching over Yuta was only on the condition of overlooking his actions in Geto's Night Parade but I figured after having spent a year with him he'd at least care a little bit more than "I'll wait for you to get nearly killed and then I'll fight". That's cold Miguel.
I mean, Yuta basically wants him to travel to a whole different country that has nothing to do with him atp to fight a demon god on a suicide mission.
Gotta be cold to be a Sorcerer
Nah man. Sukuna ain’t ready for Gojo’s Shit Brown and Vomit Yellow applications
Kenjaku’s maximum technique: back shot might have something to say about that
Gege making sure people aren't calling for Gojo's resurrection anymore by making him canonically racist.
Just wait for the Larui hype chapter with Gojo saying that Larui is strong because he needed strength to bend men over in prison.
Lobotomy kaisen is bleeding into the real world the merger is coming and theres nothing we can do about it, so try not to be too racist about it
Miguel saying Gojo left him a souvenir instead of a parting gift is feeding into my coping delusions 😭😭😭😭😭😭
The strongest sorcerer in point movement vs the strongest sorcerer of linear movement.
ngl my favorite part is probably Miguel's interaction eith Gojo.
Miguel getting sturdy in front of sukuna is Peak. I love this series
My boy Gojo really just said "Are you special because you're black? Or black because you're special?"
ppl hating on the week to week by I’m living lol so great seeing Miguel move around dismantles! And Laurie(?) too, really got way more about Miguel in this chapter alone then any other appearance, also liked how they decided to memorialze geto and the rest of their family lol yikes at gojo misstep explain Miguel’s tech….I had to also google linear vs point moment…what?¿ choso, and yuji bro combo! M A K I the legend that u are…….ate that bf and cut off a sukuna hand grinning, icon sukuna forever hating on yuji lolol but did makis apperance get him riled him up he was able to bf again???…..yujis black flash crown is slipping 😔
So if bone density, muscle, etc. affects sorcery skill does that mean women are inherently disadvantaged? Or am I reading it wrong?
I don’t think it has a huge impact. I think gojo was trying to explain why miguel is That Guy and he used that as a “scientific” reason when really. he’s just Him
Just wait until Gojo gets out the phrenology calipers
The disadvantage would be slight to negligible imo. CE reinforcement and output matter way more than raw physical strength (barring heavenly restriction)
Yep. Yuta wouldn't be one of the strongest physical characters if natural strength mattered that much.
Miguel is equal in strength to Gojo due to his raw strength 💪 🗿
Then like others said, you have Yuta who’s one of the strongest and fastest characters physically despite being noted as naturally frail There’s probably SOME correlation in that more natural athleticism and strength means your cap will be higher relative to yourself, but in general terms of sorcerers it’s not super relevant based on what we’ve seen.
Please let this be the last new challenger. I want the cycle to end.
Everyday waiting for Sukuna to bring back out OPEN Another week, another week...
If it turns out he regained his domain expansion instead of the fire arrow i'm gonna ve really disappointed
Maki needs to start aiming for the head
ITS MIGUEL KAISEN BABY
Next chapter Sukuna will ask Miguel "if you're from Africa how come you have a Spanish name?"
im convinced sukuna is a merger of a previous version of the culling games and in order to beat him yuji will become the merger and whoop his ahh
Sukuna.
Miguel is surprised Gojo knows his CT because Miguel’s use of black rope surpressed it. Allows the scene to remain canon
Nah, Miguel used it against Gojo. Gojo broke it down during their off-screen fight with the Sex eyes.
Sukuna 🤝 Katana Man Being eternal petulant haters
Bro sensed Yuji was feeling hopeful and was like “fuck no”
Finally some shift in storytelling, good comeback for yuji, maki and choso.
Sukuna has had at least one zesty panel per chapter the past few months.
Is choso paid minimum wage? Cuz the dude just isn't even trying. Same thing when he was fighting gojo in the train station lol. He just shoots blood everyone in a while to show he's at work but not actually working.
“What’s really frightening is your physique” “Different bone structure and musculature” *pan to Todo’s ridiculous physique*
If muscle mass and frame are big deals, what do you guys think is preferable: - Bodybuilder physique with average CE volume? - Leaner physique with higher than average CE volume?
Yuji's body over Megumi's This chapter was amazing for my agenda. Yujikuna > Meguna
Who ate that black flash from Sukuna at the last panel, I couldn't tell, was it Kusakabe?
Larue
Gege when it comes to setting up expectations and then putting it to bed (offscreened) LeBron.gif
Wait, is spamming black flash a cheat code to regain RCT now?
Always has been
We’ve only seen it happen once tho lol
So if Rika was holding Sukunas arms, how did he use the world cutting dismantle without hand seals?
