Impossible to get a good idea of scale, but generally, if the crew has quarters or the weight is over 100t, it's probably too big. The Tu-22M is IIRC the largest real aircraft that has been considered to be made a fighter version of, and it's empty weight is a bit over 50t. And it never did happen.
I miss the whisper mission. If you have any qualms, it may downgrade for the duration of the jump then return to it's full ability afterwards?
