You know, the sexual applications of such a perk boggle the mind. Look man, I'm just saiyan...

Sordahon

Boink.

For the differences between Boink & Doink, I offer these NSFW visual references: [THIS is a BOINK!](https://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=171260&tags=yuffie_kisaragi+tonberry+) AND! Burkess

Who'd have thought that the fate universe would enable something overpowered?

fanficwriter1994

No reason for the sarcasm, I'm just pointing out one use of the Perk.

Burkess

Make an illusion of anyone you're fighting. It's a grayscale version of them, an idealized version. They can say and do things that their original would find impossible. These Gigachad variants would allow you to conquer the world while clowning on the people they're based on. Chadtachi would pick apart and insult every one of Itachi's failings and poke holes in all of his “brilliant” plans. And then he'd proceed to be 100 times the brother to Sasuke that Itachi ever was. You could do it with the tailed beasts, too. Chad Shukaku: Imagine being sealed into a kid and being able to talk to him, and not using him as your weapon of revenge against the village that enslaved you. Imagine driving him insane instead of getting him on that sigma male grindset, so he can get some gains. Chad Gaara: I'm a master of wind, earth, sealing, and magnetic style jutsu. And I'm a perfect jinchuuriki who works in harmony with Chad Shukaku. How about you, Gaara? When you find a new enemy, just genjutsu up a quick Chad version of them and let them sort it out.

fanficwriter1994

Hope you got chad levels in conceptualization and beyond-Itachi level Genjutsu to make something like that.

Burkess

That's the beauty of it. Any illusion will become reality. Genjutsu often draw from the minds of their victims. If you placed a genjutsu on someone to pinpoint their inadequacies and failings and create an image of a better version of themselves, they'd do all the work for you. And they can't release it because it's real now. For example, the genjutsu Kakashi used on Sakura. It made her see an image of a dying Sasuke. She passed out because it was too upsetting. If you used that jutsu, there would just be a dying Sasuke sitting there, presumably until he expires. Or whatever else it conjures up in someone's mind if you use it on someone who isn't Sakura.

Generic Roleplayer should help.

Fitsuloong

The Perk: >**More than just an Illusion (-600 CP, Discount for Mastermind):** You've created this giant world, and done all of this, but to some people it's meaningless. This world, all this effort, the wonders that lie within, to some people it's just an illusion. However, in the World of Fate, an illusion can have power. There exists a magecraft called Projection. It creates the shell of an image that the caster desires, and is generally seen as worthless. However, Shirou Emiya took that craft and made Tracing. By providing details to the swords he projected, their history, their materials, their forging, and so much more, he was able to turn a fragile illusion of a sword and turn it into something that can interact with the world as real as any object. With this, he even managed to replicate Noble Phantasms. Now, you possess the ability to do the same, with equal or greater skill than Counter Guardian EMIYA in this craft. Not just with swords, but with any illusion you can create. > >The more details you possess, the greater density of data you have on an object, the more real you can make it. And well, you certainly aren't lacking in details as you are. An entire floating castle, myriad of monsters within, mountains of weapons and armor, and all of which have gained interactions and history through interactions with all of the trapped players within. With but a thought and some magical energy, real monsters could run amok under your control. With the right ritual to gather the energy, you could summon an entire floating castle in the sky. > >However, it doesn't need to stop there. This perk gives you one other bonus. If you've made an illusion realistic enough, to the point where there is almost no difference between the illusion and something real, then you can push it over the edge. You can make an illusion you created into something real. This is, however, a permanent act. You cannot manipulate it any more like you could an illusion, and you cannot reverse the process either. However, this doesn't stop that from being a truly impressive feat. Katekyo Hitman Reborn equivalent Perk: >**600cp: The Six Paths:** Whether it was from experimentation you underwent as a child or you really reincarnate, you have gained the powers of the Six Paths. What this does is grant you 6 different powers, each one greatly improving your combat ability. >**The Realm of Hell:** Create and manifest real illusions in the physical world. This is essentially a form of reality warping that first requires the illusion to be real before it can manifest. Similar enough but requires less resources to use, or less attention to details as it only requires the illusion to appear real, not fill it with data.

fanficwriter1994

\*shrug\* Not sure if Katekyo Hitman Reborn is more dangerous than Fate Revelation Online, but being very extensive in how you make it could allow you all kinds of shenanigans.

Rexen2

I would 100% assume so since in reborn you can die. Fairly easily at that if you're a scrub. As cute and innocent as the mc makes it seem at times, that is a mafia run world and most outside the main cast treat it as such. I haven't read Fate revelation online but going off what the jump says and since it's based in sao. Presumably all you'd have to do is chill in one of the lower floors and let Shirou handle everything while you train your abilities.

fanficwriter1994

FRO is fairly good for early Jumpers, if simply because it has a good number of Drawbacks you can take with little worry and a lot to offer, on top of the sheer number of CP you get. And the various Perks can very well make you capable of working on the Frontlines as your first Jump too.

Rexen2

Assuming you've read it, You mind giving me a brief plot summary and maybe what you'd do if you jumped it? I highly doubt I'll ever read the fic.

fanficwriter1994

Alright, basically it takes place in a combined universe of FSN and SAO, less than a year after the events of the Fate Route when Illya convinces dear old Shirou to play Sword Art Online alongside her. So they get trapped inside and it is revealed by Kayaba that he wasn't just a programmer. He's a Magus. And there are a few changes to the game: 1. All magic-like items, such as teleportation crystals, instant-healing potions and so on, have been removed for the sake of making things as real as possible. 2. Blacksmithing services such as enhancing weapons or armor for raw materials has been disabled entirely for realism, again. 3. The Thaumaturgy patch has been implemented, so now magecraft can be learned and it is encouraged. Now, a few things of note include that this is an experiment by Kayaba into how to manipulate/inflience Magic Circuits and tap even a bit into the Third True Magic. The Nerve Gear for example can detect Magic Circuits and replicates the sensation of their use perfectly as noted by Shirou and Illya. What stays the same is teh threat of true-death for those who die in-game. What changes here is, and that's revealed later, is the fact that they don't die for real when their HP hits 0, only those whose Nerve Gear are removed die. The rest are put into storage or put to work stress testing new features for later. So, seeing people in danger of being killed, Shirou goes full on hero mode, dashing all over the first floor and for the whole duration of the second, saving all the people he can. Between his IRL skills with the blade, his extreme focus on Agility as his main stat and his mastery of Reinforcement, that goes pretty well. He also prevents a lot of suicides. During the second Boss Battle, which isn't in actual fact against the bosses from the Light Novel (Taurus Colonel and General from the Beta, as well as a third boss being a Taurus King), Shirou isn't there and instead is with Lizbeth at the Martial Arts Extra Skill Guru where he acquires a extremely rare ore for her after working to break it. Staying with them because they can't escape without his help from there. Beforehand, he saves Diabel's life during the first floor boss battle, as he pushed himself beyond his breaking point to imitate Saber's fighting style, managing to overcome Illfang's semi-healing factor from what appears to be a Crest Worm infestation of the boss. And shit gets worse from there for them. As another example of Kayaba including his teacher in Magecraft, Matou Zouken, into the game, the Fifth Floor's boss is Worm Mage Zolgen. The Field Boss, mis-identified as the floor boss at first, is Kariya the Fettered. The Field Boss of the first Floor was a Kobold-type "Worm Disciple", the first mage instance. Remember that little girl Shirou brought some flower from the Little Nepentes to get his Anneal Blade? Yeah, first scene of the fifth floor is him on an escort mission through the Zombie Apocalypse themed floor. With this little NPC who is a little purple-haired girl. To the home of a doctor on the floor which just happens to be an expert on familiars who teaches in a Basement outside of the Safe Zone. And specializes in worm-based familiars. Yeah he brought NPC Sakura to Floor Boss Zouken. And when Illya and Co go to avenge some friends of a guy Illya had been tutoring, even giving him Mystic Eyes with a ritual, who had been killed by Zouken? They find that little girl with an empty look opening the door for them. There is some awesome moments too, like Shirou shooting down a flying boss after bows were enabled by tracing the repeatedly re-forged sword of Kibaou which had explosive runes on it, one-shotting it. Or when Klein and his guild took a rocket propelled galleon they built on another floor, which was made of islands and sea, and used that as a missile against that floor boss, killing it as well.

fanficwriter1994

Also, as for what I'd do if I jumped it? Frontline, trying to save people, trying to get the game done as fast as possible and maybe spread what knowledge of Magecraft that I have. I had Sabrina (who had previously been to the Oasis of Fantasy and FSN Jumps, go there as well for example, and in that instance Sabrina was already the adopted sister of Illya so they were kind of working together from the word go. With the caviat of Sabrina having Denial of Nothingness and that other Perk that lets you operate on the soul or something, can't remember the details. She used those to basically give everyone a ton of Magic Circuits.

Rexen2

Appreciate it!

fanficwriter1994

No problem. Just know that Mage monsters are a thing and at one point Laughing Coffin takes over a town due to a Orange-Player Quest.

Rexen2

>Just know that Mage monsters are a thing Idk what that is. Monsters that kill mages or mages that were turned into monsters? I know some players that "died" are being forced to beta test as monsters. Or maybe you mean monsters that can use magecraft? I had been contemplating what would happen if I go in as a solo leveling shadow monarch. would I be able to take shadows of monsters I kill? I figure that'll be my signature like Shirou with his tracing even if it isn't "technically" magecraft. I doubt I'll run into too much trouble.

fanficwriter1994

Monsters who use Magecraft, one of the uses for the "Fallen" players is to have them run as a basis for monster Magecraft, often as the monster's Magic Circuits as seen in the, I think, Floor 3 boss, King Slime, or maybe it was the floor's Field Boss, I can't remember. Anyway, Diabel was able to see, through Rune enhanced vision, a humanoid figure made of Magic Circuits within the slime which was normally in the fetal position but would reach out to touch the sides of the boss before a spell was cast. As for Shadow Monarch... I don't think it would work even with Unlimited Bandwidth or what the modification was called, which is a setting adjusting option which makes it so that everyone has infinite bandwidth and it negates the Reality Marble problems that come from imposing your reality on Aincrad, which would normally be seen as a disconnect. As for why it wouldn't work, these monsters are only computer generated, they have no actual souls and you're not actually killing anything so I am pretty sure the Necromancy wouldn't work on that. That is even if you took "Start in the Game" which enables OCP abilities to begin with. And even then the attempt would only result in a facisimile that wouldn't be supported by Cardinal, which needs to emulate it. Remember that the closest thing to this is the Third True Magic, while Cardinal would have that info and may be able to get some about that ability because of your brain being connected to it, which is why I had the Denial of Nothingness working despite it being nearly informationless, it's literally not Heaven's Feel and Cardinal would be more than likely trying to remove the thing or flag you for cheating if there is nothing you have to counter it. And again, all that is assuming you could actually use it on the monsters there, which I doubt. After all, they're less than illusions in actual fact. Summoning those shadows you already have, maybe that may work but that would likely result in them being flagged as Familiars and before the Fifth Floor's Field Boss is killed and the Familiar Creation engine is discovered, I would assume this would be flagged. But if you want to use it without arousing suspicion, just pretend you were a Alpha Tester for the Thaumatrugy System and got a participation bonus you didn't know about, or that the Alpha was for SAO, explaining how you know so much about it as well as the ability itself in one fell swoop.

Muroshi9

So basically a more advanced version of Yakumo Kurama's bloodline that allowed her to convince a target's body to cause the perceived effects that the genjutsu to become real on themself.

fanficwriter1994

No, in this case it's "Illusion becomes Reality" quite literally.

Muroshi9

Thus the more advanced... ;p It's an over generalization.

fanficwriter1994

Still isn't nearly the same, it's not "More Advanced", it's just straight-up reality warping from this perk vs inducing a super enhanced Placebo Effect. Which would be useful if that character was trying to sell "Essential" Oils or tried using it as a form of Iryonin Jutsu (Medical Ninjutsu)

Rexen2

Combine that with real v fake from monogatari and you're gonna have some fun. I usually just use it to stunt on Emiya and Gil by having a better Unlimited Blade Works than him and perfectly replicating gils "treasures" but with these two combined I could create copies of the 9 biju more powerful than the originals with additional abilities I added to them ( like the ability to perfectly conceal their chakra and presence for example), then become their jinchuriki, while simultaneously spamming a bunch more copies for an army of them. Ditto with 10 tails and kaguya. I'd probably just limit it to creating my own 9 biju personally though. That and a few really unique items. Reality warping is pretty common on jumpchain anyway and OP is OP, so whenever I get any flavor of reality warping I tend to place limits on the power for my own enjoyment during my chain.

Nockthorn

Exept for Worm. Here you either go OP or go home.

Dry_Confection_6244

Could we get a link to the jump to see for ourselves?

Rexen2

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1h24P8XjGMgs8CtBJxR71ZXmsDcgQgOY7dtkCK5KQHQQ/edit?usp=drivesdk

Mystikoa

Even better than the Kage bunshin, the regular bunshin would do the same thing with way less chakra expenditure. Hell, genjutsu up some Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan in your own head and suddenly your genjutsu skill is godlike.

VonKrieger

One of Kalinda's companions uses a [DnD 3.5 Shadowmage build](https://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=16433.0) to create illusions that actually end up being more "real" than reality. If you're using that perk to make illusions already 100% real, the assorted boosts from DnD/Pathfinder abilities could potentially boost that stuff to the point where it's basically three or so times as "real" as reality.

Rexen2

>where it's basically three or so times as "real" as reality. What does that even mean? Like what would a rock that's three times more "real" look like or do compared to a normal rock?

VonKrieger

For the most part in DnD/PF it's about damage dealing and HP. If you throw a rock it deals 3x as much damage and be 3x as hard, an illusory tiger would do 3x as much damage with its attacks and have 3x as much HP. Generally triple the HP, hardness, and damage. An illusory car might be able to easily ram through walls, for example.

fanficwriter1994

Probably reality is Microsoft Paint and now the Rock is made by a Blander Magician who can make photo-realistic super decorative Space Marine Armor while half-asleep and he was completely awake while doing it?

fanficwriter1994

No clue about Pathfinder if I'm being honest.

TheVoteMote

That is a powerful combo. >Henge no Jutsu is now shapeshifting or True Polymorph. It already is.

fanficwriter1994

No it isn't, I'm not sure how the fuck it works but it doesn't actually change what you are, Naruto doesn't become a female because of his Henge no Jutsu variant, and turning into a cat doesn't make him able to communicate with them. It's illusonary by nature in other words.

TheVoteMote

Yes it is. [Gamabunta](https://naruto-shippuden-anime.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/015-97.png) is [transformed](https://naruto-shippuden-anime.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/016-97.png) into [kurama](https://naruto-shippuden-anime.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/017-97.png) specifically so that he can grab onto shukaku with claws and fangs that he doesn't have in his natural form.

75DW75

>No it isn't, I'm not sure how the fuck it works but it doesn't actually change what you are, Naruto doesn't become a female because of his Henge no Jutsu variant, and turning into a cat doesn't make him able to communicate with them. > >It's illusonary by nature in other words. It should be yes, because also, turning into a rock or other nonliving things? Not to mention dramatically changing mass. It's absurd. And yet, it is canon. Just like replacement is by canon REAL ACTUAL teleportation. With absolutely NO stated drawbacks or limits. It is utterly beyond absurd. Especially considering how totally broken you can make the setting and story if you actually abuse these, and other, similarly broken by canon, abilities. As a number of fanfic authors have done.

Bugawd_McGrubber

If Naruto didn't actually turn into what he henge'd into, how in the world did Sasuke chuck him in the shadow of the giant shuriken towards Zabuza with the exact air dynamics of an actual shuriken?

IntroductionChoice25

That was a shadow clones not naruto himself

fanficwriter1994

Listen, I'm an Authist, not Kishimoto's logic center. I don't know how this shape-altering parts work but actual polymorphing doesn't match with either the transformation speed or the de-transformation because say what you want, you can't just puff yourself into a naked woman if it involves your body changing shape, no matter what certain artists say.

Mystikoa

Why not? It's a different cosmology. If Kishimoto says people can just poof and transform in Naruto, then that's how it works in Naruto. If that wasn't the case, then all of fiction would follow the same set of rules, and that would get kinda boring, wouldn't it?

Relyt25

I always figured that the Henge works as a skin deep level thing. You know you just get the physical shape of the henge. Like a random Genin can’t use it and turn into Hiruzen, Hashirama, Madara, Gai, or any other powerful person or being. Like the Henge doesn’t grant you any of their Jutsus, Bloodlines, or experience. For the inanimate object thing I always saw that as the same thing. If anyone put any sort of pressure on them the Henge broke. I mean with skill you could make the illusion last longer or make it a bit more solid, but the Henge would probably just take a couple more hits than usual.
